(random weird thought but So Angels and Demons takes place as late as 2000, maybe sooner, and Da Vinci Code happens one year later in April... So Technically, 9/11 did not happen yet. But also did it ever in the series ? Things are kind of different from the real world so maybe it doesn't ? I don't remember if it was ever mentioned in the next books. It's super random but since Silas lived in New York for a while I was like hmmmmm)

It's still just the sketch but now you can see everything uwu I'll make it way better I know that some are a little bad but it's 4am be nice ToT (if you missed the context it's the characters from Da Vinci code based on the book descriptions + Sasha) ((I couldn't find what clothes Robert is wearing so I gave up and dressed him with random clothes that seemed neat on him))

So while thinking about the design of the rest of the Da Vinci Code cast I was thinking "well knowing my fellow long series artists, Robert would basically look like Dan but maybe with different hair or what not..." So I go draw Dan's face on him then re-read his description for the colors and amongs the details it talks about his dimpled chin and I was like LOL I was so right. You can't hide a thing from me M. Brown >:3c

I kind of avoid drawing those two being too intimate since they're technically not supposed to be a couple

But I can't lie I want them to sloppy kiss while staring in each other's eyes already

Silas's speech is just so weird I can't imitate it at all lol

He speaks super normally in my comics for comparison what is funny since I also speak French and another whole language just like him

I guess that he really did not speak much with anyone since he learned English, or like at all technically, and he also certainly learned most of it through the Bible

So let me explain that new story thing, it's not mega original so don't expect too much lol It's still in a concept phase so it's all susceptible to change. I don't even have a name for it, so I will informe you on that later on, and I'll find a nice way to order my blog so it's not too messy, I'll tell you all about this too. Here is the story : ✑ 60 people are magically brought together in a large but enclosed space. 30 of them are in love with someone in the other half. But those people they loved were fictional characters, but here even the 30 "real" people are not all from the same worlds. ✑ From there they are told that they have one week and at the end of the week the "real" people will be able to chose between sacrificing themselves or killing the "character" they love. But during the week leading to it, the "characters" have the opportunity to find out who is the person in love with them and kill them. The remaining of the two will be sent back to their original world. But if they kill the wrong person, they and the person they were paired with will both die as well.

✑ The situation being dangerous even more so by the fact that other contestants try to get informations from each other and sell it to get the information they themselves need, but they also have to coexist, eat together and discover what is happening and why.

✑ Sasha spend her time doing her best ignoring Silas. She's not so much afraid that he would kill her since she does intend on sacrificing herself instead, but she couldn't handle the weight of knowing he wouldn't like her. ✑ There is a lot of confusion in general since some people like multiple characters in the place and don't know which one is the right one or people who don't know what the character look like so can't recognize them.

✑ The place is very big and it's easy to get lost in it, but it also have shared spaces where people try to stay with each other, afraid of what could happen to them. ✑ I said one week but I was also thinking about having multiple "rounds" of vote where the people who failed voting have to stay another week and have more chance to be killed by the other person. ✑ The story would mainly focus on Sasha and Silas, I would also explore some of the other pairing, since there are a lot of possibilities here; people who are angry about the situation, people who are afraid, people who find love in each other, or with someone else that who they were paired with.

And that's pretty much all, I will try to draw some scenes or illustrations for it until I finally liberate some space for it in my comic scheduling (one day someday). Until then, I hope you'll like it and here some ideas for Sasha's clothes this time, while poor Silas will be the same as always uou

So I have that yet another situation for those two characters, uhm... I know it's getting a little excessive... I'm not gonna start a new comic now, I already have so many, but I was thinking about doing some drawings/scenes and I was wondering if you'd prefer me posting there here also since it's them again, or should I create a separate blog for it, and maybe for Cherished Nightmares as well so it will be easier to know what is what ?
