Uber night.

Story time ::: please don't think I'm a horrible person I just hate when people take full advantage of a nice people.

I'm sitting at the bus stop.. After a long shift.... I end up on the wrong train so I'm already late. As I get to right station... My bus is going to be 19 mins. So I get comfortable. I'm sitting and reading minding my own business and these two women approach me.

They said they were from Brazil and had no phone or other form of communication. They wanted me to book an Uber for one of them. I said honey if I book the car then I should be taking it or you have to pay... She agreed.

Long story short : neither of us took a ride. She gave me no money but got in the car.

After I disclosed that I had no money and that I had a child. And missed 4 busses. I cancelled her trip. I can't afford for people to take advantage of me like that.

Lesson learned.

Journey to my Bullet Journal.

So the internet has been going nuts over the real cool and productive method of creating this BuJo and I was very excited once I saw it. Not only am I a mom and a student, I plan on volunteering all year long and balance my crazy life, while studying two languages, potty training my boy, and working 2 security jobs. I know that I take on a lot. Forever I relied on getting monthly planners to organize everything except my method is becoming quite dull. I have no more motivation to use the boring black book that I have and so I decided perhaps to start on a bullet journal. Right now I'm in the stage of finding the book in the first place. Harder than it looks. I have spent hours on amazon, indigo and esty trying to find the best and perfect book. For me, I'm looking for a good sized notebook, with good strong paper, 190 - 250 pages, graphed or lined, hard cover and mostly black. I tend to destory everything with make up and ink so I really want it to be able to handle me at my worst. I want to focus on having possibly 2 or 3 throughout the year. My first I want to make dedicated to my language learning. I also though need to make one for work and fitness, and just the crazy generalities of life. I want to make it as colourful and organized as possible and so I need to find this book. Tonight I might check out the dollarstore and Yorkdale Indigo, and hopefully we can get at least one of the books on the go. I think i might start with the lanuages as they are my main focus at the moment.
