Entirely on a whim (I'd never tried this before) I dragged an enemy all the way to the Lake of the Dead and threw them in, thinking there was NO WAY there'd be an achievement for such an out of the way, completely unnecessary task.

Yup. This was absolutely directed by someone who loves the Legacy of Kain Series.

Supergiant Games stealth dropped Hades II on us completely out of nowhere... so of course we bought it immediately and played it!

Sony were once the bastions of video game creativity.

Willing to expand behind the youthful simplicity of Nintendo and the edgy tryhardness of Sega, they focused on building immersive worlds, unique characters and actual developed storytelling.

That Sony is dead.

It's been dead for half a decade.

Games like Sly Cooper would never happen in 2024 Sony, and Bloomberg's Jason Schreier has confirmed as much.

The Day Helldivers 2 (almost) Died

Back in February Helldivers II released to critical praise and commercial success so rapturous it wrecked the game's servers for weeks. Still, Divers supported the game, and it quickly built a reputation for how to do a live service game properly.

All that good will went out of window on May 3rd… the day that Helldivers (almost) died.

Sony planned to make PlayStation accounts mandatory on PC in order to play it, This was quickly reversed… after the game received over 160k negative reviews on Steam and mass refunds from consumers.

Will Sony actually learn anything from this debacle, however..? I'm not personally holding my breath that they will.
