Day 22-25: character design / concept art

Usually I don't colour for free requests but @kenanthefallendemon was so passionate about this oc, I almost felt obligated to paint his vision.

- Short description of the character 'Kenan':

Inspired by Melanie Martinez's Portals, & Anubis / Inpu, the Egyptian god of underworld;

Starry hair & skin; Eagle wings & eyes; Lavender bounded horns; Golden crown & sceptre; Sun & halo on above;

Height of a thumb; Surrounded by butterflies, dragonflies, forest creatures.

- Drawn with graphites, oil paint, star stamps, etc in Fresco.

Day 19-20: Many sketches, many wips

No day off for nearly a month by now

Also not allowing myself to rest bc i'd hibernate

Turns out when you work for too long you get easily impressed by your bare existence

For loop ( keep working until ipad 0% battery, switched to pc until it ran out too, switch back);

I just came back T-T Whyyyyyy, why Tumblr, why disappoint me againnnnnnn. Thought that this is the gayest mainstream social. Now i wanna leave again..

Happy Pride Month everyone! Remember 4 months ago when the CEO of this platform harassed and chased a trans woman off this website just for posting her transition timeline, then chased her to other social media platforms to continue harassing her, and threatened to call the FBI if she continued disputing the multiple dubious terminations of her blogs that did not violate tumblr's terms of service in any way? And despite tumblr staff insisting that the CEO was acting against their interests, the broad transmisogyny evident in the site's culture and moderation policy has still not been adequately addressed?

Day 19: Full page Heavy Paint! & Big Chest!~ Bc I'm in a Big Closet!~ And it's Pride~

The sun was letting go of its remnants in the dusk.

Shego was covered in her own sweat with glittering sand.

After a whole day on the beach, her usual pale grim skin was blushed away with rouge. Contrasting to her iconic green attire.

She frowned in disdain, as usual. Blocking the perfect sunset view, then she smug, as usual.

She stared at this way. Her eyes were dazzling as if they could lustre. Her arms reached out as she leaned in closer & closer.

This is unexpected.

Either they're your OCs or a fan art, as long as you describe them & not stealing, it's OK to ask for. ("How to give clear descriptions?" detailed on my last post!)

You can tell me in any way you're comfortable with. It would be great if I could reply, tag you & give the drawing to you.

I would post it on my blogs BUT if it included any of your creative contents, you'd have the right to reject.

E.g. If you asked for "Headshot of MLP Celestia", that's not very your-idea. I'll share my art. If you asked for "Naked full body of my OC (ych), a royal guard of MLP Celestia", you'd own the idea, you can say you want it privately.

Day 13: I am an Embarrassment to myself

I've read all the rules before I post anything to any subreddit but I always get my first post deleted with something so stupid that I put in, thinking I was being precise and conclusive but I conclude too much & triggered every auto-bot with my precised words. I want to crawl up in a hedgehog ball.

Here's his story if u made it past my rant, you deserved it:

He was once a capybaby, adopted by kangaroos.

Capibaby thought he was a kanga-baby, so he worked out super hard as his parents were BUFF.

Lately he developed a tiny tiny crush to Lady Sicilia Snake, the librarian.

He started reading more.

He daydream about being an old, healthy capy, with lots of stories to tell, and possibly, Sicilia by his side.

"How do others give out their best first impression?" CapyBARA wondered.

His kangaroo parents met on stage at a boxing match. So their love story weren't really helpful here.

Art of the day: Gojo Satoru from Jujuju

Day 12 of study: ~ First digital heavy paint! ~

Just saw both jjk & roman empire were on trending, so Roman AU it is! Head canon:

Satoru: Royalty class; only wore heavy impractical toga before sashisu (He said he could fight anyone in anything. He said he changed into comfy clothes bc it's hot outside, not bc he liked his friends.)

Suguru: Normal citizen class; powerful jujutsu so got picked as one of the Eque(?) Knights; raised war for slaves.

Shoko: Woman in Roma. Despite her abilities, she didn't fight much for her voting rights bc she was too busy healing in wars. (Maki & Nobara were planning a civil war. Maki wanted to gain her true royal class honours. Nobara wanted to wear cute sports wear in public.)

To all of the people moving here from Twitter I need to tell you something. But first things first, welcome. I know that you might be here and feel out of place but just know that there are people here that will take all of you in with open arms.

So let’s talk about something that the newer people on here seem to not understand and that is the importance of reblogging posts.

On Tumblr, likes are basically meaningless. They’re about as good as the save button on Instagram. Likes are basically a bookmark. Likes do not help with engagement on here and they do not help the creators on here. If you like a post, reblog the post. Reblogs are so important on here.

Reblogs are one of the most helpful tools on Tumblr. On Tumblr, your engagement on a post heavily relies on the amount of reblogs it gets. If you truly want to support a writer, artist, creator, etc. don’t just leave a like, reblog the post!

Now I may not be up to speed on all of the tumblr etiquette but I do know this fundamental rule. If there’s one thing new Tumblr users should learn, it’s the power of a reblog.

Don't you just hate it when you wanna make a quick fanart & you couldn't figure out where the fabric drapes so you draw out the body underneath in detail.
