i feel like i can think so well. like my thoughts flow so easily. but the moment i try and express them it’s like someone put a dam up and stopped the flow. nothing comes out. i so desperately want to tell people how i feel. explain why. but i can’t.
i can’t let anyone into my mind. and i can’t even escape it myself.

here’s the second post! enjoy!
I love this song! it’s the type of song you have to smile and sing while listening because you can’t ignore the good vibes. I believe that the song is all together too short. we need an extended version.
so to further analyze this song there is a part where Lonely God repeats:
Marlboro nights
You said you would, you said you would
You said you would, you said you would
I am not certain of the meaning but the way he repeats it in and in this context it sounds like he’s saying “you said you would keep your promise.”
I love this snip it, it adds an interesting component to the song. follow for more music discussions. have a great night/day!

I forgot to post this so yesterday there will be two posts today, sorry about that. (TW: mentions of death/suicide)
I relate to the lyrics, beautiful song. it almost reminds me of a lullaby you sing not, really knowing the meaning. it’s soothing and sounds like how it feels when you keep a secret.
I love these two lines in the song;
“Are you dead? Sometimes I think I'm dead
'Cause I can feel ghosts and ghouls wrapping my head
But I don't wanna fall asleep just yet”
it’s ominous and dark, but also sweet and simple. it was a good meaning and touches on those with mental health struggles well.
another part of the song I love is;
“His hair's a mess and he doesn't know who he is yet
But little do we know, the stars
Welcome him with open arms”
it makes death seem so inviting and more like a rest after a long journey. it also says “little do we know the stars welcome him with open arms” which adds a feel as though, when the time comes (or either approaching incoming death) it will welcome them, and not shun them. as a person who has struggled with finding a place where I experienced true acceptance, this is calming to me.
to conclude this musical rant i’d like you say thank you to Cavetown for making this beautiful song. also thanks for reading, my friend.

overall all great song. love the meaning, love the lyrics.
this song is about trying leaving a (most likely toxic) relationship, but I think it sounds like it the relief that comes from being free from a toxic relationship. I love the ending guitar strums. it finishes the song perfectly.
i personally love this song! i think it was executed excellently. great song to vibe to on a road trip, I only wish it was longer.
11/10 love it!

this was also one of my favorite songs for a long time!
this song feels like freeing yourself from the shackles of people opinions.
i think it’s very lifting song and very liberating, besides the meaning. (being that there is no heaven, and possibly no hell) like letting go of the things people told you that you let bring you down.
but i overall love it, a great song to blast just about anywhere.
please feel free to comment if you’d like to discuss the meaning, and what you think this song feels like! have a great day ^^

this song feels like unsuccessfully trying to not fall in love.
like having that crush you swore to yourself you would have.
like loving that person you told yourself you couldn’t love.
overall a good song to blast in the car
10/10 would recommend

I love Katniss and Peeta’s dynamic. I love how no matter how she treated him, he still loved and cared for her softly. I love how Katniss is a feral and scared cat terrible at being warm and fuzzy, and Peeta is like a big fluffy golden retriever, the only one capable of unlocking her softness. I also love how she’s the only one who doesn’t realize she loves him until it’s so painfully obvious she’s kinda of embarrassed.
I love how opposite they are as well. I love how Katniss is a hunter, and Peeta is a baker. Katniss takes to survive, Peeta makes to survive. Katniss is the act to Peeta’s talk. Katniss has literally no way with words until she’s angry and is forced to speak what she feels, and most of the time not even then, but she can create and put a plan into action like it’s nothing, and do whatever it takes to make sure that plan works. While Peeta is less of a fighter and more like a manipulator of words. He uses his natural charisma and way with words to survive. He is also a thinker. He manipulates his storyline to wrench the hearts of his audience. Showing he has great emotional intelligence. They balance each other perfectly. They’re amazing. Katniss and Peeta are amazing.
Everybody say thank you Susan!!
