Unicorn Merlin,,, my pookie😔❤️✨ okay but to be honest I really think if any creature would represent Merlin it would be a unicorn, especially in the context of that episode. I always thought the parallels that could be drawn were interesting and I wish Merlin got some closure after watching what was a completely innocent creature get murdered by Arthur for his father’s acceptance. Wonder how many nights he stayed awake thinking about how it could have been him Arthur used for his father’s attention. Hm there was more I wanted to say but honestly I’m tired so I’m just gonna go to sleep lmao

PURSE REDESIGN or alternate outfit?

This was really fun to do! I love Purse’s canonical outfit but I wanted to imagine how I would tweak it if I was in charge of costume design. It's probably not practical for a real costume but fun! I used a vault door as basis for the belt as well as the door above the belt. The leg warmer things were inspired by Krupp I thought them being matched would be cute. The visor was local’s brilliant idea it's like an accountants visor, the green ones, but red to make the color scheme and longer cause ✨️drama✨️. The stripes on kneepads, visor, and collar are based on the MTA armored money train. I think that Purse could have been that bright yellow if he wasn't a component and matching with Electra. Also I accidentally made him bv colors oopsies.

I interrupt my regular content with a gift for my fandom-in-law ✨ it was literally just supposed to be a warmup but ofc it went off the rails (like rusty😭😔im sorry that’s a terrible joke Mace is gonna make fun of me for that when they sees this)

Anyways like I was saying I just wanted to warmup and decided to ask Mace for a train pookie to draw and next thing you know this popped out😭

THE LINOCUT DID NOTT KILL ME🎉🎉. Bad news I underestimated how hard it is to print 7 different colors and keep them and the paper in the correct spot so I had to 3D print registration pins and tabs. Good news I’ll be able to test print again tonight with them after work😌✨ here’s a picture of the wip of the black block😭😭 this one specifically tried to put me into an early grave istg

At least I’m getting good practice in ig😭 also in between carving I’ve been working on this wip 😌🙏 I’ll just give a little look cause I’m proud of how it’s turning out so far, unicorn merlin for the win just bc I thought he’d look cute

7 different colors,, this linoprint might kill me but it’ll be my greatest accomplishment if it goes well so I’ll do my best to try and document my march towards death here😭🙏

Local here still alive, and apparently art block can be defeated by colored pencils and Merlin? I missed the show so bad actually 😭 so take this tarot drawing I made that I’m planning on making a linocut print (somehow, pray for me y’all I need it)

I tried to scan it to get more details in the photo but that just got rid of the shininess of the gold🧍‍♂️ so I just included them both and a little close up of Merlin😌✨ honestly this was supposed to be just a sketch but I got carried away whoops
