I went to a Dragon Age: The Veilguard group on FB and asked their opions on fan fiction because my brain has been kind to me recently and it's allowed me to be creative. Which is fucking awesome.

They gave me some decent advice, and I began writing.

Nothing linear, just vibes and whatever came to mind. It's slowly starting to fit together, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

But folks, there's a problem.

I can't seem to stop.

I have over 30 chapters planned out. I've already typed out 90 pages in a Word document, and it's over 37,851 words.

The e-reader on my phone has it listed as 275 pages.

I've only written 10 chapters (not in any particular order, just writing what comes) - if I keep going at this rate, it's going to be massive O.O

One of the hardest parts for me when it comes to writing is getting the pieces to come together.

Writing a fun outing? Writing about angsty thoughts and being too scared to speak about their real feelings? Writing flirts and pining? Writing sexy times? That's not too bad.

It's the little bits in the middle where I flounder.

How do I get my little trio to stop being the 'idiots' part of 'idiots to lovers' and get them to the 'lovers' bit?! I just keep writing more angst and feelings and never actually put it all together, so it flows!

Just let me write about my Rook, Emmrich, Lucanis, and Spite coming together, brain, dammit.
