Weekend Fun Times
I finally finished my coloring page! I love to color in physical books, but I can get certain effects digitally that I can't quite replicate on paper.
6.5 hours later and it's complete!
Spring break is also coming up soon! I'm staying in a yurt in the countryside and I am so exicted! It'll also be my cat's first vacation, so I am curious to see how he'll react.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
While it is not a day I celebrate in a typical fashion, I still love to see all the green and feel connected to the world somehow. St. Paddy's Day has such a rich history (definitely look it up, it's fascinating!).
With my arm/elbow healing and me regaining more and more mobility, I wanted to make sure that I could still keep up with typing. it is so essential to my course and will likely continue to be relevant in my professional career.
So, here's a very sped up video of me doing a typing test (on TypingTest.com, where I do all of my typing practice) while I'm working in the office and the results!

Thankfully, I am healing and have been able to continue with my schoolwork despite my injurty. Unfortunately, I have been really ill this week and that, of course, has left me a little behind in terms of course material.
I am getting better and am slowly improving. I was even able to attend a lecture offered by a visiting Yale University professor, Dr. Jessica Lamont, on Ancient Greek Curse-Tablets and Magic-Making for extra credit in my Ancient Epic Literature course.
For the remainder of the weekend, the goals are:
Finish reflection on the Epic of Gilgamesh
Finish notes on The Iliad Books 9-12
Read The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien, pages 118-207
Read The Iliad by Homer, Books 13-16
Work on poppy linocut
Finish coloring "Cinderella" for funsies
