GOM(+Kagami) as the Seven Deadly Sins(FMA)

I couldn’t avoid the spoilers for this one xC. If you’re new to FMA and still don’t know the identity of the 7 homunculi then I suggest you read no further. This is based off the manga and the 2009 ver of the anime btw.

Akashi as King Bradley- Wrath the Furious

The ever so dependable leaders, Akashi the Emperor and King Bradley the Fuhrer

King Bradley might’ve been fighting for the wrong cause but we can’t ignore the fact that he was an excellent commander to his subordinates- much like Akashi is towards his teammates

EMPEROR EYE=THE ULTIMATE EYE

Even with the violent nature of the sin King Bradley embodies, he is actually quite calm and rational when facing problems- just like Akashi, he might be stone-faced on the outside but you know he’s going on a rampage inside

THEIR SKILLS ON THE COURT/BATTLEFIELD ARE SO OP. IT TAKES AN ENTIRE ARMY TO TAKE THESE GUYS DOWN

Both are proud and acknowledge their own skill but when you do manage to defeat them, they won’t hesitate to admit that you’re skilled and a worthy opponent

Aomine as Greed/ling the Avaricious

Both keep their body in pretty good shape even tho they like to laze around a lot

Aomine can be compared to Greedling in a way that he forgot his past relationships and just started thinking about himself and even reached the point of harming a loved one without even noticing

HUNGRY FOR POWER

“The only one that can have the world is me”

When you do manage to remind them of who they really are, they will show you their caring side and always give great value to the people close to them even if they don’t show it most of the time- it’s either they’d die for you or they don’t give a fuck about you, no in between

I can honestly see Aomine as someone who is brutally honest about everything, the same way Greed vowed to never lie

BUUUT- the one time Greed lied, it was for the sake of the people he cared for so if it were in that case I think Aomine would do the same

Kise as Lust the Lascivious

I’m not saying that Kise is an incubus, to be fair we don’t really see Lust that sex crazy either

They try to be what people expect them to be not just for self-achievement but also in order to get the things that they want

Kise would probably use his looks to his advantage and would probably use his fangirls for his own benefit- would it be through love-making or not

The same way Solaris (Lust’s fake name) used her seduction skills and tricked Jean into a relationship in order to get information of the Colonel’s plans

They both have that really seductive smirk that you can’t say no to like seriously why are these two so blessed with looks

Kuroko as Selim Bradley- Pride the Arrogant

Now this pair is just perfect in my opinion

They both might look cute and innocent with their small stature and big sparkling eyes but damn these two are forces not to be messed with

You might think that Kuroko wouldn’t be able to do much with his frail body and below average skill set in bball but his passes are way out of your league

Much like Selim’s shadow tendrils that can drag you into the darkness in your sleep with nobody ever finding out

They’re always there lurking in the shadows…just watching you…observing your every movement….always….and you don’t even have a faqing clue that they’re there

SHADOWS- JUST FOR SOME EXTRA EMPHASIS

Midorima as Envy the Jealous

totally did not make the same mistake as the last time with the last pairing shyt

BOTH FAQING TSUNDERE AF

Even though Midorima is a tsundere, I can see him as a very flexible person depending on the situation, much like Envy’s ability to shape-shift in accordance with the needs of the mission

They’re both plants: Midorima=carrot. Envy=palm tree.

Ehh…again I’m sorry for this pair it’s really hard to find tsunderes in the animes I watch

Murasakibara as Sloth the Indolent

Well…they’re both INCREDIBLY LAZY…obviously

Even though they both complain about working and such, they still do manage to get the job done and if pushed too far will end up being dedicated to fulfilling their task and crushing their enemies

Though they’d rather just do it through the quickest way possible with minimum amount of effort

They both are fast when need be (I was about to say have good reflexes but we all know that ain’t true for sloth)

They’re both slow-witted and apathetic, not to mention easily fooled by others

They just wanna chill and not give a fuck about the world aight is that too much to ask?

They’re both huge lol

Kagami as Gluttony the Voracious

Can never be content with their standing and will always seek more- may it be a stronger, more powerful opponent or just…food

I mean have you seen Kagami eating a pile of maji burgers in one sitting? like deyum son

Need I emphasize more on their respective appetites?

They’re both very passionate and can get attached to their partners after enough bonding time though they most of the time rely on them to keep them on the right track- Kagami with Kuroko and Gluttony with Lust

Rather than rationalizing plans and observing the situation first, they both tend to just go straight for the kill when the window of opportunity is open

Tend to get very reckless and easily predictable when angered or annoyed but that’s what they have their teammates for- to get their head in the game

BONUS:

Momoi as Lust the Lascivious

They’re both just so gorgeous that they can easily get away with anything after just looking into your eyes (these lovely ladies are just so perfect who could possibly resist them?)

They prefer to just observe from the sidelines and gather information in order to formulate the perfect plan for world domination

if you enjoy sport anime, I'd really like to recommend Eyeshield21! all the teams are really quirky and nice and all characters get good attention. also, there's no character out there even close to the likes of Hiruma Yoichi. actual satan leading a football team.

Personally, sports anime ain’t really my fave genre. I only ever watch because the other admins do xD

GOM(+Kagami) as the Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai---the anime)

I made this so that there’d be no involvement of spoilers so if you’re new to Nanatsu no Taizai (or if you’ve never watched/read) you won’t get too confused. Plus this might peek your interest and maybe you’d join the fandom (please do I need more people to talk to about this fandom I’m lonely)

Akashi as Meliodas- The Dragon’s Sin of Wrath

He might not be as perverted as Meliodas on the outside anyways but he is the leader

Both have a great sense of responsibility and take care of their team members

Akashi’s wrath is probably just as explosive as Meliodas’ will absolutely tear you apart

They’re both kinda similar when they get blinded by wrath- Akashi with the Emperor Eye and Meliodas in his Demon mode

Will do anything and everything if their lover were ever to get kidnapped(I’m looking at you damn Elizabeth), they just CARE A LOT OKAY

they’re both smol lol

Aomine as Ban- The Fox’s Sin of Greed

Both very chill people and kind of lazy but on the battlefield/court damn can they woop your ass

Tall af

Will give you the I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude but when you’re in danger, you can trust them both to have your back

I mean, I’d rather just sleep on the rooftop than train my ass off when there ain’t no opponents worth my time

Both are stupid and just go straight for the kill at the earliest opportunity like seriously you both have brains, use it sometimes

(just because you both powerful af doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed to win ALL the damn time)

Kise as Diane- The Serpent’s Sin of Envy

Both are very conscious about their appearance

Live to please others but when push comes to shove, will show you the real them and you have to be REALLY important to them if you managed to crack their façade

Will not hesitate to tell you all their insecurities if they know you’ll always be there for them

Both kind of possessive over the person they love/admire- Kise with Kuroko and Diane with Meliodas

Both need a guardian to always be there to get them on the right track- Kise with Kasamatsu and Diane with King

Kuroko as Gowther- The Ram’s Sin of Lust

Both apathetic

Might not be the strongest but their abilities are influential- Kuroko’s misdirection can help a lot in winning while  Gowther’s mind manipulation can change the course of a battle

I have a headcanon that Kuroko just needs to look into your eyes for a few seconds and he will instantly know your deepest darkest secrets just like Gowther’s Light Search

either that or you just never realize that he stole your diary and read everything woops

MISDIRECTION = OVERWRITE (in a way)

Overwrite in a sense that you can change the way people perceive the world to be and completely avoid conflict in a strategic way

I dunno what I’m saying but I hope you get it

Murasakibara as Harlequin- The Grizzly’s Sin of Sloth

Both lazy af, don’t like it if things take effort and would rather just chill

I mean if Murasakibara could, I bet he’d be chilling on a floating pillow all day as his way of transport rather than walking

Murasakibara would probably be as fat as King’s human form if he weren’t a basketball player

Passionate about the things/people they love but are both kind of selfish

In a way that Murasakibara just wants all the damn sweets in the world and not give a shyt while King just wants everything to be joyful and dandy with the world even though he knows it takes effort

Midorima as Merlin- The Boar’s Sin of Gluttony

totally didn’t give him Merlin just because she’s the last character to be paired but let’s make this work anyways

Both are calculative and speculative

Prefer not to take risks and would rather strike when they are assured of victory

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

Merlin would probably wear glasses too if she weren’t a magical being

Kagami as Escanor- The Lion’s Sin of Pride

KAGAMI BEFORE SEIRIN=ESCANOR OF DAY. KAGAMI AFTER SEIRIN=ESCANOR OF NIGHT. (well just the attitude)

Kagami before Seirin was arrogant and thought nothing of Japanese basketball players, of course Escanor’s boastfulness is rightfully placed but the problem is Escanor of Day is so arrogant it’s scary

Kagami after Seirin might have toned down a bit on the arrogance but he’s still as skillful and powerful as before so still as powerful as Escanor of Day but with the humility of Escanor of Night (except of course if he’s facing Aomine)

BONUS:

Momoi as Diane/Merlin

As possessive as Diane when it comes to loved ones

They just don’t get why everyone is so against them having relationship like they just love their (so-called)lover very much aight

But is also hungry for knowledge just like Merlin and as calculative, both have collecting data as a living

Tries to keep up appearances like Diane with their sweet girl act but they can both kill you if they wanted to

Welp, we knew this would eventually happen. Since we haven’t posted our rules yet and have not clarified what each admin would be willing to write, your request might be a bit of a problem. You see admin aqua (the one in charge of scenarios) ain’t good with romance or anything related to…umm….the birds and the bees. (We know you’re questioning why she’s even here but trust us, we’re questioning why we made a blog in the first place) Soooo…since admin Lala is the only one (so far) who is comfortable with writing anything beyond fluff, we might just post it tomorrow as headcanons if that’s alright with you.
