What Karma means to me
October 6, 2024
I believe in good and bad Karma, one way or another. People who say they have never seen bad Karma turn against bad people are not aware of the meaning of Karma. Karma is silent in many ways and comes in many forms.
What is on the surface does not define what is real. So before you think it is not happening where you can witness it, does not mean it is not actually happening.
I believe good Karma comes to those who do good.
I believe kindness always comes back.
Bad and good intentions and vibrations eventually return to its sender.
I never take Karma into my own hands, because it contains a higher energy that we have no control over, therefore I let it do its work.
I trust the journey of Karma.
PEACE AND LOVE .x

We are who we are. For a lot of reasons.
I am who I am and you are who you are and that's fine. We can't agree on everything and we don't feel the same about everything, you know. But sometimes I feel so damn lonely and misunderstood. Why can't we see eye to eye?
Most days I carry on, but some days are just really sad and lonely. Sometimes I used to feel so happy, alive and bright, full of energy. I'm not that way anymore. I feel too familiar with the darkness, emptiness and heartbreak, maybe that's how I was meant to feel in general.
It has been too long since I felt good about myself and my life. I miss certain feelings in life that I don't experience as much anymore. I am afraid I will always feel this way because to be honest, my darkness is my only comfort and friend. The one thing I know will always be with me. I know some things are temporary, but I do know that this company has been with me the longest.
An emotional roller coaster, a car with no brakes, unable to stop, waiting to crash and burn up in the eternal flames of the inferno.
I wish for a miracle to happen, I am constantly craving for things I can't have and all the things I have lost along the way. The emptiness in my body and the loneliness that haunts me every day. Have you ever felt lonely in a crowded room? Because I have and it hurts my soul.
- K.

JUSTICE FOR ALL LIVING THINGS
I have this feeling of injustice all the time. Everybody talks about justice, but most of us don't even know the exact meaning of it. Many people use the word, based on their lives and perceptions, they decide whether something is justified or not. But it's not about your personal approach to things, it's about law and rights and they are the same for all of us.
The right to be who you want to be, the right to decide what to do with your body, talking about the pandemic. The right to be treated equally and the right to freedom of expression. It is difficult to have an opinion in a world where most people do not tolerate it. You are condemned for saying things, while speaking out or standing up for yourself is seen as annoying, selfish or misbehaving. The people who label these things as such turn them into a controversy. These people cause people to shut down, but it should not be so, it should motivate them to speak even louder. Those who condemn others are no better than anyone else. It is a lack of self-awareness, so in that case, never take their words for truth, the truth is within you and justice is what you should follow at all times. Fight for you right is one. ❤️

Meanwhile in The Netherlands…
June 3, 2020
I fully support the purpose of the BLM demonstration and I find it a very important movement, however in this day and age I find it highly inappropriate to gather around with thousands of people. I find it inappropriate to all of them who have worked their butts of for months, for the sake of others (and they still do), but also companies that have been affected by this crisis. Those who have been forced to close their doors, with no income and no clarity whatsoever. But also those who feel alone, those who are not allowed to receive visitors and keep wondering why no one is ever visiting.
What on Earth is happening here? We're taking prevention measures for months now, just to start this thing all over again? These people have deliberately taken the health risk for themselves and therefore also for others. How is this even justified and acceptable? This isn't about you or me, this is much bigger than we are. It concerns all of us. How is it possible, that a mayor, someone with an exemplary role, is able to accept all of this and put it at risk?
Humanity is too messed up. How can we even cope with all this irresponsibility?
BUILD EACH OTHER UP BY TAKING CARE .xx

The madness and cruelty of it all...
May 27, 2020
Is this the world we want to be a part of? Is this the world we created? Or are we just pretending that nothing ever happened and deny our mistakes?
Racism lives on forever. I don't think it will ever disappear. Isn't that quite a shame? We judge each other by appearance, status, the color of their skin and the way they dress. Why don't we all embrace our differences, why don't we love each other for what we are, regardless of race.
At the end of the day we all go to sleep and wake up the next day. What I'm trying to say is that we're all people who share the same basic necessities of life. It's not about what we show or the amount of money we have in our bank accounts. All these things shouldn't matter that much, it's just extra. It's not our skin color, nor our jobs that define us. The way we treat other people is what really defines us.

Bloggin’ Whatsup??
May 12, 2020
Welcome to my first blog. I never did this before, so I am kind of excited about it.
I'm breaking the ice by starting with one of my biggest insecurities.
My name is Janie and I live in The Netherlands. I am a Dutch citizen by naturalization. I was born in Seoel, the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea on June 24, 1997.
As a baby, I got adopted when I was 8 months old. I flew all the way to The Netherlands to live with my new family. I grew up in a wonderful family with two loving parents, and four great siblings.
My hobby's include listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with loved ones and I like to write some times.
I am very interested in poetry, the human mind, behavioral psychology and life's philosophy. These subjects can keep me busy for hours.
If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am a very private and occupied person. I keep a lot of stuff bottled up inside and stick to myself a lot. Also, I am more of a listener rather than a speaker. I am intrested in the kind of things people have to say or think and what their believes are. I can be really cheerful too. I enjoy good music and movies a lot. I like to discuss movies afterwards and music nourish the soul, you can enjoy together, but alone even more.
Music & Me
I enjoy being on my own, I come home, I'll pour myself a drink and put the music on. I'll listen to it thoughtfully and within seconds you're in the song. Music can touch the heart and when it does, you'll hear a lot more than just sounds and melodies. A song is usually 3 to 5 minutes long, but in these short minutes it can hit you real fast, as if you went down a rollercoaster ride and want another round.
Feelings and all that good stuff
In my mind it could be messy as hell. It's like this: Yesterday I felt good, but today I could drown in my own sorrow, you know what I mean?
TO BE CONTINUED... xx
