Dragon Age Inquisition is the only game where I can stand on a rainy beach and watch a giant fight a dragon, while an ancient elven god stands behind me saying spooky cryptic shit like "I wonder what lies sunken beneath those waves." So.

Basically, I’m running a dnd campaign set alongside the events of dragon age inquisition. I’m writing the story and I’ve decided that I want the party to meet Merrill in the mountains once they leave Tantervale.

None of my players have played da2 and therefore won’t know anything about her, and the guest player I’m going to have has played da2 but hasn’t played dnd before. So, I don’t have anyone I can ask for an opinion on this from anyone I know.

Now I turn to you, people of tumblr, to help me out! I’ve been running all mages as somewhat sorcerers to reflect the way magic works in dragon age, so that isn’t really going to work. Im open to any other magical suggestions though :))

ok…today I finished the deep roads dlc and last week I finished Jaws of Hakkon, so I was just planning on doing the Fire Captured mission and starting Trespasser to finish off my first dlc play through (second play through of the main game)

the confusion I experienced when I thought I had collected all the shards and couldn’t open the FINAL door… then, upon checking the dragon age wiki, I realised that I had, at no point, somehow, I did not visit the hissing wastes even once!!!

pray for my sanity, I wanted to finish trespasser before September when I’m starting my dragon age dnd campaign!!!
