The 1st and perhaps most iconic battle scene of the Transformers. The artist David Schleinkofer died earlier this week of Lou Gehrig’s Disease. His career spanned 40 years, and his work traversed Transformers, Robotech, Battlestar Galactica, Hotwheels and a multitude of book and magazine covers.

Chris Moore just died at the age of 77. This is one of my favorite of his illustrations, a book cover from 1974.

I call this “Creepy Droid”. Actually called “Far Out”.
