So I’m really far behind on Lies of May. I had a really big life change happen(negative) and have really been struggling to do anything creative. Unfortunately I think I’m going to have to end early and hopefully focus on a few creative things that are easier for me for awhile.

Lies of May Day 4: painting!

Carlo hated the painting…so Romeo helped him make it a little more fun. Geppetto was furious.

I will actually color some more of these but *gestures at puppies and 15 year old dog* it’s a challenge. Anyway, I just thought this was a funny concept. Also I like the idea of Romeo trying to help Carlo feel better about something and deciding defacing his portrait was the best way to do that.

So…many…lines… For some reason (because the image came to me and it was cool) I decided to draw this most complicated one yet the day I also spent most of the day walking around the Ren Faire. I might eventually color this but for now: corrupted butterfly Sophia!

Lies of May Day 2: Spring!

Did I add this prompt just to draw P petting Spring the cat? Yes, yes I did. I used thicker lineart for this one for some reason. I don’t know why. I never like it when my lineart is this thick, but oh well. Also his hair is MUCH harder to draw from the front than the back.

I’m thinking about doing another May art challenge but haven’t decided on a subject yet. I’ve narrowed it down to a few though so I figured I’d put a poll to see if anyone cared.

Journey tober day 30! Division!

Wukong and the brotherhood! For some reason I decided to be really really ambitious with these last two days and do multi character pieces. I’m not entirely happy with this but I think parts of it look really good!
