Some quick thoughts on the end of Book 7:
at the end of Book 7, Malleus officially turned Silver and Sebek into his knights by giving them their gift armor.
Technically Malleus officially hired them, right? Are they going to get a paycheck? Because they are now his formal (and most loyal) knights, it's practically a job. how much would it be? We know Malleus has no financial problems, even though Queen Maleficent would be the one paying them?
I'll assume it's a lot of money, since they are Malleus' main royal guards and the ones he trusts the most (they're his family, come on), besides being the ones who had the balls to stop Malleus in his overblot.
When the party happened and the memories (ghosts?) of Meleanoar, Knight of the Dawn and Queen Leiah were presented. Really no one wondered why, you know, Silver is identical to someone who appeared in the memory (but in blonde). I mean, I'll assume they think Silver is their descendant, but then no one questioned that Silver's heritage is of noble origin either.
Let alone that he literally danced with the kings who once inhabited the castle (Kod and Leiah.) Didn't anyone find that odd? I don't think they heard Silver calling them “mother” and “father”. Because, if not, it would be hilarious to imagine the others trying to figure out the situation, because they don't know that Silver is 418 years old. I think Idia and Ortho know something about it from S. T. Y. X. And wasn't she in the room where they danced? Silver's crib? No one would have seen a crib there?
Malleus what the hell with your choice of location for your apology + birthday party for your little brother.
It's still funny lol
3.I still think Silver gave away his armor because he said “I don't want to wear the armor of the one who killed my prince(brother)'s mother but I don't want to be rude either” because come on, after the meltdown he had in the dreams I don't think that's something he's mentally prepared for.
But I also think that action in book 8? will play against him for not having the armor against grim.
Can we talk about all the disfam having the same smile? Lilia's smile or a very similar one. Real Lilia influenced their lives so much that they unintentionally imitate her smile. That's very cute.

Quick thoughts with the new update and before Monday’s update.
So, it’s correct to say that Lilia is trapped in a deep sleep.
If I understood everything correctly, Silver said that being at that level of the dream means facing your greatest fears.
In Silver’s case, it’s everything related to his origins and the Dawn Knight.
But what about Lilia?
Meleanor’s death? Revan’s disappearance? The Senate?
I believe—and hope—that Lilia’s greatest fear is not being able to be a father to his children.
Listen, the SSR card of Silver with what was supposedly the Dawn armor is coming. (Though now, that doesn’t seem to be the case?)
What if his dream (and his fears) is seeing Silver being and acting as the son of the enemy? That his children are divided by their origins?
What if his fear is that Silver is not his son? And his family is not truly his family?
Losing his small, imperfect family. That way, he will finally understand how his children feel about his departure. And realize that he really messed up.
(And at that moment, when they finally wake him up, he refers to Malleus and Silver as his sons—because come on, Lilia, they are your babies.)

Im gonna do it another small analysis? maybe.
HI3 x TWST
This time with Lament of the Fallen… well, more like just a part of the whole video. A phrase that Mei says to Kiana before she leaves:
"If rescuing you is a sin, I’ll gladly become a sinner."
And in my opinion, this phrase perfectly sums up everything about Book 7 along with Malleus and Silver’s actions.
Let me explain.
In Malleus’s case, he is a prince who only wants to have friends and for people to stop fearing him. But he is putting everyone to sleep, becoming a villain in everyone’s eyes. Why? Because he wants to save Lilia (from losing his magic) and Silver (from the pain of Lilia’s departure) and for them to simply be happy.
If Malleus has to put everyone to sleep in order to achieve that goal, he will do it without hesitation. And he is doing it.
If saving Lilia from losing his magic and saving Silver from the pain of his father’s departure is a sin, then Malleus will gladly be a sinner, a monster, a villain hated by all.
In Silver’s case, he only wants his family to be proud of him and to repay them for taking care of him all these years.
And despite being Malleus’s knight and one of the closest people to him (let’s be real, he’s his younger brother), he was the first to oppose Malleus—without hesitation, without fear. (Silver even had to fight Sebek to make him help.)
Silver dared to stand against the prince of his land, a prince who is almost like a god to the fae. All because he wants to save him from himself and the loneliness he is imposing on himself. Silver refuses to leave Malleus alone.
If saving Malleus from himself and his self-imposed loneliness is a sin, then Silver will raise his sword, gladly accepting being a sinner—a traitor to his kingdom, a mere human who dared to stand against his lord—all for the sake of saving him.
Both of them are happily accepting being sinners as long as it means saving the other. If saving the ones they love is a sin, then they will gladly become the greatest sinners of all.

Tomorrow will be the (possible) final part of Book 7.
And with the confirmation of Silver’s ssr card with armor (possibly the armor of the Dawn Knight)
Can we remember that when Silver found out about his origins, he practically tried to take his own life?
I hope Malleus realizes that instead of helping, he ended up hurting his family. That he notices how Silver is suffering while trying to save him, the possible panic Silver must be feeling knowing that his parents' story is repeating with them. (Because I think Malleus didn’t get to see that part of Lilia’s dream.)
That Malleus finds out about Silver’s attempt to let himself be consumed by the darkness (which is an eternal dream with no way to wake up—practically suicide), that he realizes that the little boy he helped raise, the first human he loves, the one whose tears will make him to destroy the world, has tried to give up everything and never wake up.
And now, with the final battle approaching…
How would Silver react if he had to wear the armor of Malleus’s mother’s killer and fight against his brother?
Let’s not forget all the magic he has spent on all those dream jumps.
Would he have an overblot, and would that be what makes Malleus stop in panic?
Because I see Malleus with his own overblot being like: "Yes, this is bad, but it’s necessary, so it doesn’t matter." But if it were an overblot from one of his family members (especially his baby brother): "NONONONONO!"
Malleus started all of this for and because of Silver. (Let’s not forget that Silver’s tears are the final trigger for the overblot.) So Malleus must end this for and because of Silver.
I really hope this family talks things out and solves them. That this isn’t something they just forget and move on from.
And above all, Lilia needs to sit down and talk to his kids, because damn it.
His eldest son, in an attempt to save him, is willing to destroy the world. And his youngest son literally had a breakdown where he practically attempted suicide.
I need this family to talk and go to therapy. They love each other so much, but they’re such idiots.

Alright, first of all, I never understood how Tumblr works, but here we are. Also, spoilers for Hi3 and Twst.
I'm a big fan of Mihoyo and their games, especially their songs. And I really like the Diasomnia family.
I've been thinking lately that there's a Hi3 song that fits Lilia really well:
Nightglow by Tanya Chua, aka the song that plays in the Final Lesson video. (Also, listen to the song or watch the video to understand everything better.)
¿Why I say this? Look at the lyrics:
"The way I go through with red roses burn my eyes Cold rain starts pouring hard, I'm being called upo.
Never let you go, it's why I did them all For a chance at least, to live in your way Love of you is my most cherished thing So stay alive, bravely.
I wish I could wake from the dream each time I dream There's a long night coming soon, I'd shine as the last shine.
Never let you go, it's why I did them all For a chance at least, to live in your way Love of you is my most cherished thing So stay alive, bravely.
Never let you go, it's why I did them all For a chance at least, to live in your way Love of you is my most cherished thing So stay alive, bravely."
¿Tell me it’s not a song that fits Lilia after watching it?
It’s so much worse considering the context of the song (Here come the Hi3 spoilers)
It's the song that plays when Himeko dies, sacrificing herself to save Kiana from her Herrscher of the Void state (It's like the overblot but much more complicated because Mihoyo and their plots).
Imagine the case where Lilia sacrifices himself for the good of his two sons.
Lilia loves them; his love for them is the most precious thing he has.
Everything he has done is so they can live in their own way: we see it with Malleus by teaching him to love humans, something the senate and Malefica wouldn’t approve of. We see it with Silver by teaching him never to give up on living.
Lilia would literally give everything for his children, even his life. (He already gave part of his life to Malleus so he could be born, what’s stopping him from giving the rest for his children?)
Imagine Lilia like Himeko, dying sacrificing himself to take Malleus out of his Overblot state, or having to save Silver from the sadness that clouds his eyes.
Saying the same/similar words as Himeko:
“Be brave, push on. You can still end this story the way you want”
Malleus and Silver can still end this as they want. They can still love each other. They can still repair their relationship. They can still end the hatred between humans and fairies. They can repair the mistakes and sins of their parents.
Because they are family. Brothers in everything but blood. They love each other.
They can end the story as they want and get their happy ending. Lilia might not be there to see it, but he has no doubt that his two sons will.
Simply because they are his children.

the first-years accidentally enter a Sage's Island singing competition, because yuu saw the words "participation money" on the poster and signed them up immediately because the vacation fund, you guys, THE VACATION FUND-- (different au from the restaurant, btw)
the contest is through video submissions, so yuu brings all the first-year together to pump out a semi-decent, story-driven music video (think "last friday night" by katy perry -- a mix of story cutscenes and actual dancing). they used to dabble in making original music back home, so they write up a quick, catchy song, and assign everyone their roles.
after the whole fairy gala thing, jack and ortho are very adept at making walking/flying look fabulous, and so they're the main stars for the acting segments. ortho is also in charge of the technical parts: providing equipment, editing, etc. jack is very embarrassed over the idea of being in a music video that a bunch of people will see, but after he sees leona eat a mouse off the floor because he was too lazy to pick up the plate of food ruggie left for him, he decides he really needs his vacation as soon as possible. same for ortho, except he had to watch idia heat up a cup of ramen, drop the whole thing on the ground, and then proceed to still eat it anyway.
since ace actually knows what people like, he's in charge of planning and directing the choreography and writing the story. he's a little bitchy about it, but he's good at what he does, and not nearly as bad as vil, so... little mercies.
being strong enough to carry the heavy equipment, sebek is the one in charge of actually recording the video itself. he's ALSO in charge of making the costumes, being the only one with enough determination to study for five nights straight on modern fashion trends and... y'know, being the only person out of the seven who knows how to sew, lol. being the emotional, sensitive guy he is, he's also in charge of the lighting and the overall aesthetic of the video, knowing exactly which elements will evoke what response in people (aka, he throws a bunch of things at the wall and sees which one makes him cry the hardest). don't worry-- yuu keeps him from plastering malleus's face all over it.
that leaves epel and deuce to be the dancers. luckily, the choreography isn't nearly as... bubblegum pop, i guess, as "absolutely beautiful", so it doesn't take a whole lot of convincing for them to do it. deuce, like jack and ortho, isn't entirely sure of being on camera, but then trey gets called back to the queendom by a family emergency, and the whole dorm goes to shit and somehow catches on fire, soooooo...
at the end, they submit their video, and grab their participation money. and they honestly think that's the end of it...
...until they get an email saying they won first place, the video blows up on TwistTube, articles start getting written analyzing the metaphors and complex story in the video, and now eric venue is coming to sage's island to see if they'd be willing to do a promotional music video for a movie he's producing.
uhhhhh... whoops?

Ooh! Ooh! Hey, hey! I just got another idea for a twst au! Everyone else: Don’t you have enough of these? Me: Hush! Twst Spoilers for chapter 7
What if Malleus was the one to find Silver instead of Lilia? When the treaties were signed, Malleus—on a whim—decided to visit the place where his mother died. While there, he hears a cry. Curious, he follows the sound to find-- “A baby? And a human one at that.” He wonders why the child is here, hidden among the thorns. More than that, he wonders why it's alone. He looks at the thing and thinks it's an ugly monkey. Around it is a strange ring that glitters in the moonlight. He debates abandoning it, however, its cries are so desperate that they break even his heart as it reaches its tiny hands out to him. Also, he recalls Lilia’s lessons of how he should learn to love humans. And in this child, he recognizes the same loneliness that haunts his own heart. For both of those reasons, he picks up the child—handling him as if he were glass—and takes him home. As he flies away from the castle, the golden chain slips from the child’s neck and falls away, lost to the valley—for now. Lilia is surprised, to say the least when he discovers the Prince has taken in a human baby. Malleus is blasé about it, stating that it was on a whim. When asked why he didn’t leave the baby at a human village, Malleus states Lilia always says that he should learn about humans, so what better way to learn about them than by raising one? At Lilia’s prompt, Malleus bestows a blessing upon the child whose hair turns white. He takes Lilia’s suggestion to name the human Silver. At first, Malleus treats Silver like a pet but Lilia helps him to treat the child like a person. Because Silver is technically HIS baby in this AU, Malleus is very protective and possessive. Anyone that’s not Lilia takes their life in their hands if they approach without permission first. When Lilia brings up the idea of training Silver, Malleus is insulted that Lilia thinks he can’t protect his own, but realizes Lilia’s right that Silver should learn to defend himself. Around this time, they met Sebek, who was appalled at first that someone so “lazy” is Malleus’ ward. As Silver grows up, Lilia can’t help but realize that Silver looks more and more familiar as he grows and eventually goes to investigate, learning the truth at the castle and finding the lost ring along the way. Other h/c for this au; *Silver grew up under a lot of scrutiny and judgment, but no one dared touch him, lest they earn Malleus’ wrath. *Malleus was reluctant to leave Silver when he got his NRC invite and only went after leaving Silver in the care of the Zigvolt family. *Malleus used to overfeed Silver till Lilia pointed out that he was basically a dumpling now. After that, the cooks put him on a diet. *They used to share a room till Lilia pointed out that Silver was too big and should have his own. This resulted in an argument that ended with Silver moving to the room next to him. *Malefica never met Silver, nor does she wish to, seeing the child as a fling that will soon die of age. *When the senate made a fuss about the Prince adopting a human, Malleus used his, “Shut up or get zapped by lightning” argument.

Hello! You can either call me Ayu or MirrorMaze. As I was searching for Crowley's identity by solving all the riddles of Alice in Wonderland, I was encountering a lot of hidden information that eerily and unexpectedly explain some odd things in Twisted Wonderland and that's the reason why I made this blog (apart from seeing beautiful fanarts and sometimes doing yume) I'm more specialized in doing analysis based on literatures that were used in the making of Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, and since from my latest votes everyone seems to be interested in it, I decided to create a masterlist for my analysis and theories. This blog is dedicated to twst theories/analysis based on Lewis Carroll's famous works, Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, which is a time capsule of the Victorian era that has been studied throughout centuries from many disciplines and becomes one of all-time best selling books.
You can also send me questions, as long as it's still related to twst theories.
Twst Theory/Analysis Masterlist :
Alice in Wonderland is a book full of satire in Lewis Carroll's lifetime which can be related to cultures, politics, arts and so on in that time period. So if you do find something rather "disturbing" in my twst theories that are based on the original book of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, please just treat it as if you are reading an academic paper or historical literatures.
[Status: Unfinished] means that the theory will be rewritten in the future as I gather more information, and [Status : Completed] means that it's finished. If the title doesn't have a link it just means that I'm still gathering information on it and is not starting on it yet.
The Story Concept of Twisted Wonderland : Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass [Status : Unfinished]
Ace's Hidden Character Concept : "Ace in Alice" [Status: Completed]
Deuce's Hidden Character Concept : "A Trump Card Equivalent to Ace" [Status: Unfinished]

Summary: Baby Dragon Malleus comforts a teething Silver. He thinks all adults are idiots.
Baby Malleus coos at Baby Silver as he cries.
Silver has started teething. His painful cries had Malleus purring at him.
Silver, red and teary, pulled the dragon closer to him.
Where’s papa? Malleus can’t help but wonder. Papa will surely fix Silver.
Papa was an idiot, Malleus concluded.
Malleus had seen papa and another human talking.
It seemed the other human gave all the treatment he could to help his little brother.
Both of them. Idiots.
His baby brother was still uncomfortable, tears leaking from his eyes occasionally.
But it seemed Silver took comfort from the coolness of his tail, so he kept it wrapped around him at all times.
“Malleus. It’s time for Silver to ea-Ow!”
Lilia shook his bitten hand.
Idiot Papa.
This…thing Silver chewed on seemed to help.
But not for long, it was constantly changed.
“Mrrow?”
Silver wiggles before pulling Malleus closer.
The...thing needed to be cold. He can make it cold!
Malleus blew on it. Silver laughed at the cooling sensation before burrowing his face into Malleus’ wings.
“Malleus?! Did you freeze Silver’s teethers?!”
“Whatever Master Malleus did seemed to help, young Silver is sleeping soundly.”
Malleus smirked and curled around Silver, pulling him closer. Silver babbled and laughed happily in his sleep while patting Malleus.
See? He could take care of his family.
Everyone else was idiots.

Persona x Twst AU
or that one time Ell (@memoryoflife) and I accidentally predicted Book 7 chapter 5 Events
Let me start off with some background info on the Persona Series for those who don't know:
The Persona series has a similar premise to Twst. In the sense that a person can be corrupted, but the reasons vary. This corruption eventually takes over them and affects their personality. In the Persona franchise, a team can stop these corrupted individuals by accessing their "mind palace." Think, inner access to their mind/soul.
These palaces tend to be just that, a palace. It will consist of a maze like structure you have to solve to get to the final boss. Along the way, you battle enemies and you get glimpses of the person. The true person, and what eventually led them to become corrupted.
Once you reach the Final Boss, the enemy usually has multiple forms. Not only that, but the entire room reflects this form and can be used against the player.
The characters trying to stop the Final Boss try to reason with them and set them free.
As you can tell, this has similarities to twst. The characters in Twst OB, and majority of the time before they do, you can see them gradually change and become corrupted.
Now you're probably wondering how does this exactly fit into Book 7 Chapter 5?
Well it fits specifically for one character alone: Silver.
Chapter 5 focused majorly on Silver and his character development. As Ell and I talked about this AU, we had unintentionally, predicted some of chapter 5 events. (You can imagine our shock and how this affected our feels even more with the chapter release)
Silver's OB
Silver's OB idea was basically him OB while he's asleep. His dream realm was now a nightmare realm of blot and waste.
He couldn't die nor awaken.
Primarily, the idea was Silver OBing right after Malleus. So they would try to rescue him, all the while juggling with emotions and the aftermath of the previous OB.
As Lilia, Malleus, and Sebek try to rescue Silver; they feel even more guilt the further they go into his palace.
But they make way, because they will rescue Silver, no matter what.
Silver's Palace
For Silver's Palace, we focused on who would be in it and how his past would appear.
One floor would focus on Lilia, and how Lilia leaving him affected him. Another would be Sebek, repeating words about Silver not being good enough and how he has to make up for Lilia and Malleus raising him. Malleus’ floor would focus on Silver's ancestors being the reason why Malleus is alone, his parents dead. All of these inner insecurities Silver faces even without the blot, but now so much worse because of it.
The dream realm isn't a dream realm anymore. What was once a world full of pastel colors is now darkness and full of blot.
Dreams full of colors means happiness, but it's not happy anymore is it? It's just a nightmare, of his own making.
The only colors are those of the three Diasomnia members, desperately trying to save Silver.
There are several ideas for his palace, wether it could be a shapeless void or something with structure.
The shapeless void castle is interesting because of the potential for change in scenery.
The Diasomnia members walking into the Final Boss chamber, and at first they see a forrest, not just any forrest but the one Silver grew up in.
The area constantly flashes to a decaying scenery, a burned and black forrest.
Other scenery includes: the cottage Silver grew up in, the death of meleanor, Lilia leaving, etc.
If we went a more concrete castle, the idea was a amalgamation of various castles: Meleanor's, Diasomnia's, and Princess Leah's.
It would make it hard for the others to travel because the Castle’s maze is always changing.
Funny scenario: The three Diasomnia Members are taking a break (basically the save room in the Persona series). Malleus is restricted and can't op through the castle since he is still recovering from his OB
Lilia - "I didn't know he payed this close attention when I played games!'
Other Two - "Of course he did!"
Silver's Companion/Phantom
Silver's Phantom is a Horse or something similar to represent his emotions.
His phantom is always trailing after them.
It tends to keep to the shadows to 'protect' them.
With a horse phantom, you can hear it trotting in the shadows.
This phantom personifies Silver and all that he is. He will always love his family, so when one of the Diasomnia members were going to get attacked in the palace, the phantom stepped in.
Horses are the trusty stead of a knight after all. The horse can just bite the head off those that try to hurt the Diasomnia trio.
Afterwards, it runs away after the battles. But it is always there, they can see and hear it at the corner of their eyes.
Silver's case would be interesting because we can go a route where his phantom represents him, but unlike other OB phantom, his desires are disconnected from his blot.
In one of the stages of the final battle, Silver's phantom horse would even attack him. Because Silver keeps trying to hurt and drive away his family. Where once the phantom attacked the Diasomnia trio, it now protects them when the boss battle changes.
Silver's family has always been a priority to Silver and his horse reflects that. The horse wouldn't let Silver hurt them even though he's trying to get them to leave him alone. His phantom knows Silver better than he knows himself, because it is him in soul after all. (The horse could be that part of Silver that is left. The part of him that knows this whole situation is wrong. The glimmer of hope he has in himself that is constantly fighting against this blot and for his family).
Silver's Final Form/Boss Fight
There are multiple forms we talked about, all of which are very interesting.
One form included Silver being black and gray, but what shakes the Diasomnia members the most is his eyes. They are colorless and black. These eyes are nothing like what they know, no warmth or the fondness they are always blessed with. His hair looses that sheen. He looks like death.
Another idea we had was a blindfolded Silver, they can't see the eyes they have known for so long. He has been blind this entire time, to the pain that he has caused not only his father, but in extension the pain his family caused Malleus. What was the worth of these eyes? When they are blind? To the pain of others. While he dreamed of a fantasy.
Another darker idea was having Silver with gouged out eyes. His OB/Persona form could have remnants of blood on the floor and on his hands. Implying he had gouged them out himself. It would hurt more wouldn't it? To realize he had eyes before his OB, but after learning the truth about his past, everything Silver thought he knew changed.
And here's a favorite part of mine, a transformation of the boss forms. The possibility of Silver transforming in front of them. They see him change from what they knew to this new form. The horror of seeing him gouge his own eyes out and crying tears of blood,
His costume changes and he becomes that of what he hates. A twisted form of the Knight of Dawn costume because that's an ancestry he can't escape. One that he can't forgive himself for either and one that brings pain to him and others. So, essentially, he goes from this dark and gray form to this twisted form of light as we saw with the Knight of Dawn.
There would be Mini bosses as well, consisting of phantoms of the three that hurt Silver the most. One of them is General Lilia.
And because Silver's world has been recontexualized from knowing the truth, these phantoms spout cruel words that Silver believes is true and what he deserves.
A funny comedic part would be his animal friends being his helpers during the boss battle, but a twisted version of the birds and bears.
Funny instance: Sebek is fighting a bear and the birds are dropping bombs and stat drops. Lilia would mention how this stuff is more fun in games and not in irl and his son really did pay attention during their gaming sessions; only for Sebek and Malleus to shout "Not now!"
Some funny instances include shocking and freezing Lilia. Additionally, Malleus and Sebek would have sleep and confusion casted on them.
Another aspect of the second stage of battle would be how Silver notices how tired his family is. Even in this form, he loves them. "No, I would never hurt my family. This is wrong." Now, every time they get hit so does Silver. The battle changes, they have to be extra careful and dodge attacks now.
Saving Silver
So, how do they save Silver you ask?
The same way he has always saved them, with unconditional love.
Lilia - expressing how much he loves him, the same way Silver has always unconditionally expressed his love. How he knew he would always have someone home to return too.
Malleus - talking and bringing up memories and how he has always loved Silver as the little brother. How Silver brought him freedom from the loneliness of his own castle and a home to him.
Sebek - talks about how Silver always looked after him and never let him down even when they were kids and alone at the island. How Silver is his fellow Knight and no one can have that honor and he can always depend on him.
In the battle, Malleus can take down the giant form behind Silver in his dragon form. Saying how he will save Silver the same way Silver has done for him.
Sebek ends up restraining Silver while he's on his knees as he tries hard to get free, all the while, screaming, wailing that he doesn't deserve love and he needs to repent.
Lilia would walk towards his son. He would kiss him on the forehead and where Silver's eyes used to be, stating he deserves all the love in the world.
This is what breaks him.
He ends up crying, just like he did when he first went to Malleus. He falls into his father's arms as if he was a child again, seeking the warmth he has to offer.
The three diasomnia members can finally, finally return the love they had always received.
The Palace shatters.
And that's the gist of our Persona AU 💕💚, as you can tell, there was some uncanny and surprising parallels with our AU and what happened in canon. 😂💞🌺 But I think that’s what made the chapter so much more impactful. 💞🌻
