Zedaka & Ao’nung

Zedaka is my avatar 2 OC. She’s been good friends with Tsireya for her whole life, and by proxy got acquainted with her brother. Ao’nung and Zedaka were somewhat friendly rivals, they were constantly trying to one up the other when they were younger, but as they grew older that turned into him constantly trying to get her attention. Over the years they went from energetic kids, who were always finding something to entertain themselves. To prideful teenagers but in different ways, one was so explicitly prideful it was as if they were compensating for something. And the other held themselves with such esteem it was obvious how highly they thought of themselves.

Even though they didn’t act similar they most definitely were, from the things they did and said to the people they liked. They grew up thinking of each other as that really annoying friend, but as they got older the term friend wasn’t the best word to use.

Now days you can spot the two of them walking along the beach with the friend of a darker complexion. I wonder why you can always spot those three together?

Finding out your best friend is magical turtle is shocking but you get used to it.

I remember on lonely nights he would just pop into my room, a blue portal would appear and he’d just walk through. And we’d just talk. I wish I could say we did more than just talk but that was it.

He might’ve just done it cuz he’s cold blooded, and the east coast is apparently going through an ice age, but west side winter was the best.

It was still warm believe it or not, it almost never gets actually cold in socal (southern California). The coldest it’s been in recent years was 40 degrees at night. So he might’ve been more comfortable in my room than his own.

That day I failed a math, test and my family was yelling at me… again. This was in no way uncommon, but I did say some not so nice words that probably fueled the fire.

Bootyyyshaker9000: What’s up?

Donnie texted me. I was usually happy to get his texts, but at the moment I didn’t feel like doing anything but crying.

Bootyyyshaker9000: Ophelia dearest, you are yet to respond… you know that right?

I guess for a girl who responds at lightning speed, 2 minutes, & a read recite, was shocking.

I didn’t know what else to do, so I just put on my pajamas and went to sleep… I can’t face my problems so I sleep until they go away. Not my proudest moment but I can’t be mad while getting, ‘free room, and board.’

That nap felt especially good. It was like the blankets were hugging me, and let me snuggle up against it. Protected… no loved, I felt loved. that the best way I can put it to words. And when I opened my eyes, there was a huge blue sword leaning up against my wall with a matching turtle.

He ran his fingers through my White box braids, with black roots.

“Are you gonna tell me what happened, or are we just gonna keep laying here?” He kept his arm around me, twirling my one of my braids around his finger while I keep my face smushed into my pillow.

“I don’t wanna” I turn over and grab my skekmal body pillow sensing Don’s annoyance.

“Well judging by the lack of noise in your house, something just happened. And I want you tell me the details.” He gets off my bed and turned on my fairy lights and started picking stuff off my floor.

“Donnie what are you doing?”

“Being in a clean space always does good for me s-“

“Donatello I’ve seen your desk it’s messy as fuck! So miss me with that shit!” i decide I might as well help him, it is my room after all.

“Was it your room, I know how obsessed your mom gets?” He looks around at the clothes messily laid on the floor.

“No. It was school… again.” I Finnish stuffing the rest of my clothes in drawers while I go slump on my desk chair.

“Yikes, can’t relate personally, but still do tell me about it.”

“Nothing to tell you don’t already know. African parents, bad grades, cursing, everyone goes to there room.”

“And you haven’t already made up?” He grabs the skekmal body pillow I have and held it in his lap. “Raph doesn’t even let us go to bed Angry,”

“By ‘us’ you mean, you and Leo?” Swinging in my chair, I grabbed my pen and turned on my laptop.

“Yeah that, but it’s not my fault he’s infuriating! he does that on purpose, for fun… did I make this about me?” He laid down on his side still facing me.

“No, you were just relating. And besides I’ve said all I could and can around you… so far. You talk now.” I open my art program and start working.

“Well since you’re offering, yesterday I was tweeking the drill and LEO-“

Even when not doing it on purpose, Donnie always knew how to cheer me up, but it’s not exactly hard. I love his voice, the weird way he talks, how passionate he is when speaking about things he loves, I’m jealous. What I wouldn’t give to have someone talk about me like that.

Even though he hates hugs, he really doesn’t mind it when we sleep together. My arms around his waist, or my head on his chest, whatever position. The man who despises physical touch, all of a sudden doesn’t think twice about it.

But lastly, and honestly the most important. He’s here. Nothing to it, he stays with me while I work, and I do the same for him. I think that’s why I love our relationship so much, we’re like the two half’s of a friendship necklace. We don’t need each other but are perfect for the other.

…this is cheesy this is sooooo cheesy, I- I mean the way im talking… thinking about this guy is just weird. Donnie’s my friend, so I shouldn’t be thinking of him like that but I can’t help it.

“Are you asleep yet?” Don wraps his arms around my mid section keeping me close to him.

“No. Are you okay?”

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

“Because you’re being more touchy than usual.” I snuggled up into the crook of his neck, my cheek smooshed up against the part where his shoulder and collarbone meet.“I’m not complaining, it’s just out of the ordinary”

He looked up in thought, the blue fairy lights on my ceiling reflecting off his eyes, “…I- I don’t know? Maybe I’m more fond of physical affection when I initiate it.”

“Just a guess?” I cock my eyebrow up at him, and he scoffs at me.

“…Will you go to sleep?”

“It’s only 12.” I chuckled under my breath.

“And 8 hours of sleep is what’s recommended… but you don’t go to school so I guess you can sleep in as late as you want.” He rolls his eyes at me.

“Damn fucking straight!” My eyes get heavy as I melt more into Donnie’s body, his very, very, cold body. “Hmm.”

“Yes?”

“You should stay the whole night this time around. I get so lonely in my bed ya’know.”

“What if your siblings see me?”

“I made a anthro plushie.”

“If they see me move?”

“Mechanical.”

“And what if they don’t like me?” He ran his hand through my braids slightly scratching my scalp as I drifted away.

“…goodnight Dodo.”

He lets out a sigh before drifting off himself, “goodnight Ophie.”

When I wine up I heard a grumbling, almost like a cat purring. While I was laying on a cold hard chest.

“I love mornings with you” I run my hands up his body and through all the grooves on his plastron.

“This is the first time I’ve stayed till the morning.” Donnie scratches the back in my neck as I lean back into his hand while he chuckles. “Just like a cat”

“Yeah I’m your little discord kitten”

“W- No! Don’t say that” he chocked on his own words trying to articulate a sentence. “That’s weird”

“I’m your puurrrrrfect kitten l” Don rolled his eyes at me, before sitting up and leaving my bed. “Hey!”

“What?” He picks up the sword about to swing it, but he looks back confused.

“You can’t leave just like that! Especially not in MY clothes. those are my favorite shorts!” I Latch onto him, not wanting our time together to end.

“You take my shit all the time!”

“Donnie!”

“I’ll call you later” with one quick swipe the portal is open.

When he steps forward I lose my stability on my bed and fall forward onto my fuzzy rug.

“Yikes! Are you okay?” He kneels down to check on me.

“I’m fine” I twist around and get off my back and onto my knees. He dust some stray fuzzy bits out of my hair. “Dodo.” I look up at him still not wanting him to go.

He chuckled at me. “I’ll call you later Ophelia.”

Before he gets up, I grab him from the straps on MY tank top that he’s wearing, and bring him lips to mine.

This is dumb, I shouldn’t have done that. I mean Donnie’s kissed me before, so I should be allowed to do it to him.

At first it was just my lips on his, but then his tongue slipped into my mouth and was dancing with mine… I really need to think of better metaphors.

His tense shoulders relaxed, and he starts to lean his weight on me. His hands in my hair while mine were wrapped around his waist keeping him close to me.

But after what felt like heaven we disconnect. I’m left panting with a flushed face, his hand slipped down my face to cup my cheek. He bumped our foreheads together, staring into my eyes.

“You really don’t want me to leave do you?”

“N-“ he didn’t even give me time to speak before pressing his lips on mine again, with the portal closing behind him.

“Then I won’t.”

AN: I really hope everyone likes this fic! I wouldn’t consider it lore heavy, but this is a cannon interaction between Donnie and Ophie during her junior year of high school (16 and 17yr). This was actually such a cute and fluffy fic to read/write. And I still slightly new to writing so it might be sucky, but hopefully everything made sense. Byyyyyyy.

2012 Ophie<3

after a whole year since finnishing tmnt 2012, i have finnaly decied on a design for the 2012 version of ophelia! And i've also decied to switch up their umbrellas through every differnt version. Rise Ophie's sword is a katana, but this Ophelia's sword is a rapier. It was originally gonna be a mix with a katana, but I'm gonna change it moving forward.

Me and him went around the city hitting up all the places I wanted to go, and went to a concert together. And I guess this was indirectly the debut of our duo Atomic Lass and Jupiter Jim! This weeks been soo fun with him and tomorrow he’s taking me to his favorite pizza place!
