🌿Canada Lettuce🌿

A year or two back, I decided I wanted to learn about the plants that grew in my yard. I was in a deep depression at the time and really needed something to do. I can't express how much this helped me, not just getting myself in a good routine, but helping me to appreciate the world around me. Now I walk down the street appreciating the plants I recognize.

So, first on the list is my absolute favorite- Canada lettuce. This stuff grows absolutely everywhere here in Mississippi.

MEDICINAL USES:

Sedative: Canada lettuce contains lactucarium, which has mild sedative properties. (It's stronger counterpart, Lacuca Virosa contains more of this and therefor is much more potent.)

It has been traditionally used to promote relaxation and alleviate mild cases of insomnia or restlessness.

Pain Relief: It is believed to have analgesic properties, helping to reduce pain and discomfort. Some people use it as a natural alternative for headaches or muscle aches. It's also qidely used by cutting the plant, excretion the white milk and rubbing it on stings or bites.

Antispasmodic: It may have antispasmodic effects, which can help alleviate muscle spasms and cramps.

Mild Diuretic: It has been used traditionally as a mild diuretic to help increase urine flow and eliminate excess fluids from the body.

Magickal Properties

Dream Enhancement- It is associated with enhancing dreams and promoting vivid or lucid dreaming. Use it as an ingredient in dream pillows or sachets to encourage prophetic dreams or to induce a deeper sleep.

Divination Aid- It is used in divination rituals or meditation practices to deepen intuition. Its calming and sedative properties are believed to help gain a clearer connection to one's inner wisdom or devine guidance.

Protection- It can be used in spells or rituals to create a sense of peace, tranquility, and protection, both for yourself and your surroundings.

Spiritual Connection- Some believe that Canada lettuce can aid in spiritual journeying or astral travel by deepening states of meditation. You can use it to connect with deities as well.

Cleansing and Purification- It is sometimes used in purification rituals to cleanse negative energies or to create a sacred space for meditation and ritual work.

The best way to identify Lactuca Canadensis is by its leaves. It will have small flexible spikes along the bottom. The stems are usually purple when they're bigger, but as they're young it looks like a bundle of leaves. If the plant is allowed to reach full maturity, it will bloom a bright yellow flower at the top.

I find most sources for tarot meanings are way too vague, in terms of context. So here are some more specific meaning for the cards.

Remember, the meanings are flexible and somewhat subjective. Listen to your intuition.

The fool in..

🌟 A person- This person has a carefree innocence in them, but they are also impulsive. They mìght be naive, but are also adventurous and optimistic.

🎨 Physical Traits- Very youthful, they have bright eyes. They may also dress uniquely or not care much about what they wear.

♥ Love- They approach love with excitement head on, sometimes at a fault. There may be an idealization of your partners, or being naive about complicated relationships.

💼 Work- In the workplace, the fool could be seen as someone who takes risks to try new things, but struggles with focusing and discipline. There may be a lack of commitment causing trouble with finishing projects.

☺ Emotions- The fool experiances a wild Rollercoaster of emotions. There are intense highs and lows. There is a struggle to grasp the maturity to face their emotions in an effective way. Therefore, there could be some impulsive coping mechanisms or mood swings.

👀 How they see you- charming, eccentric, and unpredictable, with an innocent and optimistic outlook on life. However, some might also see you as reckless due to your tendency to act impulsively.

🕒 The past- The fool may have been carefree, maybe even reckless without much thought. They have faced setbacks due to these impulses, but it seems they also learn their lessons along the way.

🎯 The present- The fool finds themselves at a crossroads, so full of potential but unknowing where to go. They nay be struggling with lack of experiance or foresight on a new journey.

🔮The future- Be sure that the fool will have found wisdom with these past experiences. There is potential for growth. They may learn to be more practical, leading to more success.

He Is associated with Mars and water.

He is named as the 71st demon of the Goetia.

Dantalion is associated with the color of shining brass and a flickering flame.

There is a sound like many whispers and a texture like rough paper.

There is a smell like dust and warm air.

A low humming close to your head.

He is said to have the body of a man holding a book in his right hand. He has many faces, however, and these faces belong to both men and women of various sorts

🔮Intro to Demonolatry 🔮

Before starting your journey into contacting specific Demonic spirits, you must understand that there are a multitude of paths one can take to reach similar results.

You may choose pathworking, Solomonic magick, maybe even the draconian path. Whichever you may choose, even if paving your own path, this information will be important and useful.

The details of the demons only vary slightly, some sources going into more or less detail. The most important thing is that you find something that resonates with you. Results are results, and they are valid regardless of how you get there.

Before attempting to connect with a certain infernal deity, you must first decide the purpose. What do you strive to learn from their wisdom?

Have the intention to build at least somewhat of a relationship, especially if asking a favor. Some my provide without such offerings, but it is always kind to do so.

The word demon comes from the greek word "Daemon", which was used as a representation of a divine or supernatural being that acts as a guiding spirit or intermediary between humans and the gods.
