I despise my professors for putting The Canterbury Tales, Othello, and Frankenstein on the same reading list. First two are incredibly boring; the latter is the best piece of writing I’ve ever read

A while ago, I was gonna see this podcast that my teacher had recommended to me live, and when I saw him at the venue and went to say hi, he asked me “are you here alone?”

And I said “yes, though I brought Nietzsche’s biography with me”

And he answered “so you’re extremely lonely then”
