I really like English sometimes. The phraseologisms "break a leg" and "knock yourself out" are both of the same genre of violent positivity that I really enjoy in my life.

The thing about the naming of incidents is that it's a linear trade-off between crypticness and ominousness, and where you are on that spectrum depends entirely on the number of words in said name. "The Noodle Incident" is wonderfully vague, but if you're hearing about "the Sandstone Valley Incident of 1922", you know some Shit Went Down.

When you only realise how hard you are suppressing your emotions - all of them - because there are too many bad ones because you've been overwhelmed for quite a while, when there is a farewell where you say goodbye to people you won't ever see again, so the bad emotions (sadness) csn be shown openly, and you KNOW they are there, but you have to actively find them and guide them to the surface to allow yourself to cry. Here too you still are very careful with the tears you release, as you have a lot of tears you didn't cry for the other emotions, and if you let out even a single tear too much, open the door even a single millimetre too wide, the dam would break and you aren't able to stop. So there are very few tears, but you are allowing them to show so the others know that you truly mean it.

All I am saying is. I am hyper aware of my emotional state (which is in a horrible state) and apparently also consciously in control of them, something I did not notice until today and which just tells me that it is probably even wors than what I previously assumed it to be ... Something I did not think possible before. Yay.
