One of my favorite parts of Star Wars cinematography (particularly in the recent Obi-Wan Kenobi series) is the way the blue and red lightsabers clash. You've got the blue representing the light side of the force and the Jedi order, and you've got the red representing the dark side with the Sith, but then every time they clash, the colors mix make purple and right at the center you see the line that every Sith passed on their way to the dark side. In Kenobi, the way that purple light interacts with Obi-Wan and Vader is so cool, because when Obi-Wan cuts off half of Vader's helmet and you finally get a glimpse at Anakin, the light flashes and the purple is reflecting all over them and it just shows how in balance the light side is with the dark and how no one in Star Wars is just one or the other. With Anakin it's obvious where it comes from. He's been manipulated by someone he trusted too much, so much so that he lost everyone he ever actually cared about, but he still loves them, he still cares about Obi-Wan and Padmé and the twins that he never really got to know. With Obi-Wan, he's feeling all of those emotions that he was told to leave behind. He's scared, and he's sad and he's angry because of what he's lost and what Anakin has done. That was my favorite part of watching Kenobi; was seeing all the ways that the dark side and the light side of the force are never really separate.

MatchaBlossom Spicy HCs (!NSFW!)
This is to make up for the fact that I haven’t posted in a really long time <3
1. Cherry is a goddamn pillow princess, no one can change my mind about that. Picture this, him laying completely in the nude, doing absolutely nothing but waving his fan at his face with Joe works his magic. Picture that and then tell me it’s not in-character.
2. They’re both switches. Sometimes Joe just likes to bottom, sometimes he likes to top, and Cherry just wants to get off with Joe, so it’s a win-win.
3. The best way to tease Joe into doing something for Cherry is by putting in his piercings. Even more so if they’re decorated and not just the shiny metal ones, but if they have diamonds or chains on them, Joe just goes crazy over it.
4. Cherry absolutely refuses to have sex at the S, because he knows that he wouldn’t resist calling Joe “Kojiro”, and as we all know, he has a strict rule about names in their appropriate places.
5. Cherry picked out Joe’s tattoo when they were teenagers, as a joke, and then Joe actually ended up getting it years later and Cherry popped one right then and there and just- dragged Joe back to his place. Now Joe knows that tattoos are a turn on for Cherry and they fuck whenever he gets a new one.

Ok so I literally can’t stop thinking about Kirishima saying stupidly cliche things like “you’re so cute when you’re angry” to Bakugou’s face because he absolutely would and also because I love imagining Bakugou’s brain getting so scrambled between being insanely embarrassed or like straight up pissed. So enjoy that mental image and you’re welcome.

IidaYama hcs because ✨✨✨
I wasn’t actually intending to make this post but here we are, mainly because i got a specific idea and had to write it down, so why not post it? 1. Aoyama is a ✨pillow princess✨  2. Iida LOVES doing all the work. He’s a very active guy, not to mention doing anything that makes Aoyama comfortable and happy 3. Aoyama isn’t allowed to cook anything with cheese anymore because Iida got tired of eating it. (“It’s not exactly a flavorful food when you eat it every day.” “Sacrebleu, Tenya! It is especially good protein! Would you like a different kind? Gouda? Brie? Gorgonzula? Camembert?”) 4. Iida actually looks up some French cuisine and makes it for Aoyama as a surprise, but only on birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries and it’s always every single meal. Breakfast: crepes. Lunch: pâté. Dinner: cassoulet. And Aoyama ✨loves✨ it. 5. Aoyama loves giving back to Iida, especially after an especially long day at the agency or a difficult patrol or after he’s on bedrest when he gets home from the hospital. He’ll give him a massage, or run him a hot bath or cook him breakfast. And then they’ll lay down together and take a good nap and when they wake up it’ll be the next day and Aoyama will make breakfast again. 6. One of the only things they argue about is Aoyama’s scented candles. Aoyama loooovvvvessss scented candles, he decorates the bathroom with them every time he takes a bath and then Iida will walk in to go to the bathroom and the whole place will stink of ✨Astier de Villate✨ or ✨Carrière Frères✨ depending on the mood Aoyama is in. Only problem, Iida is INSANELY sensitive to smells and he gets super frustrated every time Aoyama uses too many candles. (They bought a different house so that Aoyama could have a separate bathroom, it was the only way to solve the problem) 7. However, there is one specific scent that Iida goes absolutely crazy over, they use it every time they take a bath together and their bathroom reeks of it all the time (sometimes their bedroom does too, but only around Valentines Day ;P ) and that is freshly cut cedar.  8. Every year on their anniversary they take a camper and go down to a nice campsite. Iida has forced the tradition of leaving behind all hairdryers, hairspray, and curling irons. he cuts the electricity every night, except i its especially hot or cold outside, in which he’ll keep it on to run a space heater or a fan because their camper doesn’t have a heating or air conditioning system. 9. Aoyama offers to do Iida’s hair but Iida refuses because he’s terrified of  curling irons and hair straighteners because how could you put that much heat near your fACE??!?!??! But he passes it off as just him not wanting to change his hairstyle because he’s such a stickler for the rules.  10. The only reason Aoyama is a morning person is because he has TERRIBLE bedhead and spends like two hours fixing just his hair. He and Iida get up at about 5:00 am, even though they leave for their agencies at about 8:00. (the other hour is spent on aoyama’s facial routine, he refuses to have oily or dry skin and he will SCREAM if there is even a hint of a pimple or a blackhead on his face) There you go, some spontaneous IidaYama hcs because ✨✨✨
edit: ouch, the manga :’)

Talking about this really makes me angry. Today I logged into my advisory class and my teacher rose for the pledge of allegiance. I couldn't even stand listening to this bullshit.
Love how we pledge to something hardly anyone upholds <3
"Liberty and justice for all" yeah haha, tell that to the 6 Asian women who were shot and killed by a White racist sexist man who was "having a bad day"
When I have a bad day I lay in bed and eat chocolate and watch anime until I fall sleep, not go out to several different spas and kill people to fulfill sexist racist fantasies of dominating Asian women.
Honestly, the pledge of allegiance makes me sick. What's the point of pledging to a flag representative of slavery, sexual assault, and several thousand people who don't seem to give a shit about the well being of people who are different?
"Under God" yeah sure, because everyone in the US is religious and also because we DIDN'T agree to keep religion out of the constitution and the law system.
"Indivisible" tell that to political parties and segregation of race and sex, not to mention every human right taken away from people belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community.
If we keep the pledge of allegiance, at least make it more general to fit with people of all age, race, sexuality, and gender. Better than that, why don't we just get rid of it altogether so we aren't lying to ourselves??
Honestly, if I said I was proud to be an American, I'd be fucking lying.

Ok so I'm spitballing here but hear me out, I feel like this is valid
So... Oikawa had a girlfriend that dumped him, right? And it was because he was paying more attention to volleyball than he was to her.
Except.... everyone knows that when it comes to something Oikawa cares about, he does anything and everything to keep said thing within his reach, and he doesn't let go easily, and he sure as hell doesn't neglect it.
For example, when it comes to volleyball, he practices more than anyone else, he watched game reruns past midnight to make sure he knows his enemy's strengths and weaknesses, and he hurt his knee all because he was trying so hard to be the best at what he does.
So if he really cared about his girlfriend, how did he let it get to that point? Why would he just... neglect her in favor of volleyball?
Was it because he just didn't like her?
Was he uninterested in a relationship?
Does he not feel romantic attraction?
Does he not like women that way?
Or... was there someone else he cared more about?
Iwaizumi Hajime was the problem in Oikawa's relationship, not volleyball, and that is my final say on the matter.

Something I don't get about the BNHA fandom is why they tend to think that Dabi would be an amazing to his family after he reveals himself to be Touya. I can understand Natsuo and Rei and maybe Fuyumi, but not at all Shouto. As shown in the manga spoilers, Dabi canonically HATES Shouto. He believes he's becoming a miniature Endeavor, because nobody knows what's going on behind closed doors, all that's broadcasted (which, by the way, is all that Dabi sees) is that Shouto is training under Endeavor or learning with him or becoming an intern or sidekick, and everyone - including Dabi - think it means he's gonna become just like him, though Dabi believes it to be a different way. None of the hate that Shouto holds for Enji are shown in news outlets, so there's no possible way Dabi could know about it. We've seen what he can do to people he cares about, he had no remorse attacking Shouto at the training camp and he obviously doesn't care enough about Natsuo, Fuyumi, or Rei to let them know he's alive in a somewhat more heartfelt way than broadcasting it on live television. He wanted it known that he doesn't give a flying fuck about his birth family anymore, if he ever did in the first place. We have to remember that although he has some redeeming qualities, he is still a SOCIOPATH. Haha, edit here: now that the 301 spoilers are out we can literally confirm that Dabi would never ever be kind to Shouto. He literally tried to kill him as a baby. So, uh-
Yeah.

So I'm over here, livin my best life (lol what's that) and all of a sudden I get this idea.
Last night I watched the movie Swing Kids and let me just say, the dancing looks hard and incredibly dangerous (if you don't know what it is just look up "swing kids dance scene" on YouTube).
Earlier the same night I was also looking at a KageHina wedding headcanon thing -- whatever you call it -- and I just decided; you know what? Kags and Hinata would TOTALLY dance to swing music at their wedding AND make it into a competition.
So there you go. KageHina dancing to Swing and everyone else standing around them with 👁👄👁 faces going and wondering when the hELL these two had time to practice this dance

IwaOi *spicy* Headcanons
Since y’all seemed to like the Oikawa/Iwaizumi headcanons so much... here we are. (here’s the link to that one if you missed it ;P) 1. Oikawa looooves to tease Iwaizumi about being the taller one. The response is a ton of hickies, because Iwa-chan doesn’t have to bend down to reach Oikawa’s neck. 2. Again, Oikawa is a power bottom, but I never elaborated the first time. He likes to order Iwa around, purposefully drop stuff on the ground and act all innocent so that Iwaizumi will pick it up (”Oops! Iwa-chan, be a wonderful, sweet, beautiful boyfriend and pick that up for me?” “Yeah, sure, Shittykawa.”, “Baaaabe, would you go plug this into that outlet over there for me?” “You’re two feet away from the outlet.” “But Iwa-chan, it gives me a nice view!” “Oh yeah, I forgot all you see when you check yourself out in the mirror is a table.”)  3. When Oikawa and Iwaizumi shower, Oikawa makes Iwa stand on the other side while Oikawa washes, so he’s touching himself and covered in soap and water and Iwa just has to watch and struggle. And when I mean struggle, I mean struggle. Iwaizumi bites his hand and his lip so much that they mark up, and he steps on his feet and he stretches his hands out to the point that it hurts (but Oikawa always kisses it better). 4. Oikawa isn’t the only one who likes to tease. Sometimes when Iwa really gets into it, he’ll pass by Oikawa and brush his fingers over the nape of his neck or his lower back, sometimes his stomach, and sometimes his thighs or hips. No matter where he touches him,  5. Oikawa likes contact during *ahem*, so the two of them are always holding hands or basically hugging or touching chests. 6. Iwaizumi loves Oikawa’s hair. Like I said before, Oikawa takes the best care of his hair, so it’s always extremely soft and fluffy and shiny. The ONLY thing Oikawa will let near his hair that he knows will damage it is Iwaizumi’s hands. When I say damaging, I mean Iwa unconsciously pulls it, combs through it, plays with it, he uses it to pull Oikawa towards him and push him away, the works.  7. They are loud. Oikawa is loud, Iwa is loud, let’s just say they get a lot of noise complaints.  8. They’re also rough. I’m talking fast, multiple rounds, overstimulation, Iwa has had to move the bed back to where it was SUPPOSED to be because we all know that bed isn’t staying put while they’re at it. (eventually, they nail the feet of the bed to the floor because Oikawa can’t stop complaining about stubbing his toe on the table in the morning because the bed was closer than usual) 9. Oikawa really loves making Iwaizumi jealous. Iwa isn’t usually very vocal about his affection, which makes it really easy to build all of those emotions up inside him. Oikawa will run over and kiss his teammates’ cheeks and hug them and plop down on their laps and it really riles Iwa-chan up to the point that he’ll drag him to the nearest bathroom and get it over with, because he doesn’t care how many people hear them and he doesn’t care that it’s a public space, Oikawa should learn that he belongs to Iwaizumi and Iwaizumi alone.  10. Oikawa likes mirrors. At one point he bought a huge mirror (it cost wayy too much, according to Iwaizumi) and bolted it to the ceiling so that whoever was looking up would have two views of everything they were doing.

Oikawa/Iwaizumi Headcanons
1. Oikawa has a face and hair routine that takes him about an hour to complete on an everyday basis, but on Sundays, he goes all out and takes up about three to four hours to keep up his appearance (He uses the best and most expensive products)
2. If he didn’t play volleyball, Oikawa would grow out his nails and get them professionally done every month
3. He likes to shower with Iwaizumi but he never lets him do anything (if ya know what I mean), he just stands there and does his routine an Iwa has to watch, in agony, because Oikawa knows how perfect he is and he’s taunting him with it.
4. Oikawa loves carrots. Don’t ask me why, there’s no reason for it, I just feel like he has an obsession with carrots. (But he hates ranch, which no one understands because how can you not like carrots and ranch together, it just doesn’t make sense)
5. Everyone always thinks he uses a straightening iron to get his hair to flip the way it does, but it’s actually just naturally wavy and he refuses to put any sort of heat near his hair.
6. Oikawa. Is. A. Power. Bottom. Everybody thinks he’s a twink, but no, he is the power bottom of the century.
7. Occasionally, he’ll try on dresses in the privacy of his room, no one but Iwaizumi knows how much he loves it
8. He and Iwa-chan go to the park and walk around when they aren’t at practice or school, it helps keep them in shape and it also gives them some fresh air.
9. Oikawa goes over to Iwaizumi’s house all the time and rants about whatever happened during his day when Iwa wasn’t there with him
10. He thinks Iwaizumi isn’t listening to those rants, but after he leaves, Iwaizumi pulls out a notebook and writes everything down so he can look back on those conversations in the future.

Villain! Todoroki
I don’t have a song to reflect this, but this is something I feel like a lot of people don’t really understand.  Todoroki would not be like Touya/Dabi if he turned out to be a villain, whatsoever. He wouldn’t hide from his family, he wouldn’t dye the red in his hair to black like Touya did. He would want to show the world that he - a villain - was the son of Endeavor. He would flaunt his scar and his red hair and use his fire quirk more than his ice quirk because he would want to shove it in his old man’s face that he isn’t going to be the perfect little hero that he was literally born to become. Shouto is a petty person, I hate to say it, but it’s the truth. He specifically chose to get back at his dad by not using his fire to become a hero, therefore he would do the opposite as a villain. Shouto would taunt and tease Enji until he literally broke, he would use Endeavor’s literal everything; himself; as a weapon.
Another thing, he absolutely wouldn’t join the League of Villains. Dabi wouldn’t let that happen, and if I’m being honest, I don’t think Shouto would even try for it. From what we’ve seen in the manga, Dabi despises Shouto, and he would uphold that even if Shouto switched sides. And, Shouto is not only petty, but vengeful. He would hate Dabi as much as Dabi hates him, because that’s just the kind of person he is. He reflects people’s emotions as his own, because he doesn’t know how to handle his real ones. We’ve seen that in the manga, in the show, and in every conspiracy theory ever.  Shouto as a whole villain wouldn’t hide from his family like Dabi did, because he would want them to hurt. He would want them to understand that they were at fault for him becoming a murderer, a terrorist, and everything else he chose to become. I feel like the only people he would really forgive and be completely not okay with hurting would be Fuyumi and Natsuo, because they’d never actually done anything to him, nor have they shown any resentment towards him. If I’m being completely honest, he’d be a complete maniac, not a sociopath like everyone thinks he’d be, but an actual psychopath. He’d be out for revenge before anyone could bother to notice he’d changed, or that he hadn’t actually changed all that much after all.

House of Memories --- Villain! Deku
PromiseBHere is my AU and take on Villain!Deku as told by the song “House of Memories” by Panic! At The Disco.
In my AU, Izuku Midoriya (AKA Deku) attempted suicide at the age of 14 (end of junior high) by jumping off the roof of the building, just as Bakugou told him to. He was saved by Kurogiri and taken to the League’s base to recover. After finishing recovery from several sever injuries such as a concussion, broken arm, dislocated shoulder, and shattered knee, he was taken to meet All For One in person.  AFO offered Deku a quirk, in fact, more than one. At first, Deku said no, because at this point in the timeline, Deku still idolized All Might and wished to be a hero. However, after telling his story to Kurogiri, Shigaraki, and AFO, the three of them questioned him as to why he still desired to be a hero after everything that had been done to him.
He was bullied for not being born with a quirk. He was bullied for trying to become a hero without a quirk. His own mother implied that it would be impossible to achieve his dream. And his own idol, All Might, blatantly told him to give up his dream.  After that, Deku reconsidered, and joined the League.
If you’re a lover, you should know The lonely moments just get lonelier The longer you’re in love Than if you were alone Memories turn into daydreams, become a taboo These lyrics are told by Katsuki Bakugou, remembering how he used to love Deku as a friend before he got his quirk and his ego was fed by his friends, family, teachers, and even Deku himself. He remembered how lost he was when he found out that Deku killed himself (at least as far as he knows) because he knows for certain that it was his fault.  His happy memories of Deku became mere daydreams, where Deku was still alive and would return home and become a hero with him, and they would be the Wonder Duo just like they’d planned to be before Bakugou manifested his quirk. I don’t want to be afraid The deeper that I go It takes my breath away Soft hearts electric souls Heart to heart and eyes to eyes Is this taboo? These lyrics are said by Deku himself, talking about the hero system and how he wants to take an eye for an eye with Bakugou. He’s saying that the deeper he digs into the hero system, the more corrupt it is revealed to be, and to a former All Might idol and present Stain idealist, he’s shocked to see that All Might is no exception. He speaks about how Bakugou nearly destroyed him, and in return, he wants to do the same thing and succeed.  Baby we built this house On memories Take my picture now, Shake it til you see it And when your fantasies Become your legacy  Promise me a place In your house of memories The chorus is sung by Deku explaining to Bakugou to remember the times when they were happy as best friends, because those memories very well may be the last good ones he has of Deku. He explains how when Bakugou’s dream of becoming the #1 hero comes true, Deku will be watching and waiting, and the second that dream is achieved, Deku will crush it under his foot like a bug. I think of you from time to time More than I thought I would You were just too kind And I was too young to know That’s all that really matters I was a fool This verse is sung by Bakugou pleading to Deku for forgiveness in their first battle at the USJ, when Bakugou and Kirishima were sent to the ruins zone. Deku was among the villains there, and Bakugou and Deku fought one on one. Bakugou was explaining how he knew he screwed up when they were kids, and how he remembers exactly who Deku is and was - a determined boy with a heart of gold and a brain of steel. He admits defeat of the battle when Kirishima is injured, opting to help take care of his friend instead of defeating Deku. Baby we built this house On memories Take my picture now, Shake it til you see it And when your fantasies Become your legacy Promise me a place In your house of memories The chorus is once again sung by Deku, though this time there’s the slightest bit of doubt when he tells Bakugou to remember him the way he used to be. Those thoughts of past lovers They’ll always haunt me This part of the bridge is sung by Deku trying to repress the admission that Bakugou has or is at the very least trying to change for the better, though he’s still angry and passionate with revenge.  I wish I could believe  You’d never wrong me The next part is Bakugou saying that he wishes things would go back to the way they were, and that he wants to think that the real Deku is still in there, though he’s given up on that idea a long time ago. At that point in the storyline, Bakugou is already a pro and moving up quickly in the ranks, while Deku is and has been the #1 villain for a very long time.  Then will you remember Me in the same way As I remember you This part is sung by both Deku and Bakugou, though with different meanings and intentions behind the lyrics. Deku is asking Bakugou if he will come to hate Deku as much as Deku hates him, while Bakugou is asking Deku if he’ll ever come to terms with the fact that Bakugou has changed and he’s never going to hurt anyone the same way ever again.  Baby we built this house On memories Take my picture now, Shake it til you see it And when your fantasies Become your legacy Promise me a place In your house of memories The chorus is once again sung by Deku. The doubt has since slipped away, because he’s taunting Bakugou with the fact that he could hurt him with the knowledge of what he did when they were kids.  In your house of memories Promise me a place The last two lines are sung by Bakugou.  It’s the final showdown between the villain Deku and pro hero Ground Zero, and everyone’s watching, whether it be in person surrounding the sworn enemies, or on the TV program shot by a local small time news station (that suddenly blew up with the live coverage). Deku has Bakugou in a choke hold on the ground and Bakugou knows he’s lost. He asks Deku to remember him the way he used to be, remember the work that he’d gone through to get where he was that day, and how good of friends they used to be.
Bakugou is bleeding out, and Deku isn’t letting anyone near him, so the paramedics are too late. Only when Bakugou stops breathing does Deku release the choke hold and disappear.  That would be a day that Deku forever remembered and regretted.  Two weeks later, after hours spent kicking himself for every decision that led him to this point, Deku turned himself in to the police. He was put on death row and spent three years waiting for that time to come.  And when it did, he thanked All Might and Bakugou for everything they put him through.  (I might turn this into a fic and put it on Ao3... idk we’ll have to see, but I hope you actually read all the way through and I hope you enjoyed!)

I'm really glad we got to have this debate (if that's what you would call it lol), since I don't usually get the chance to talk about stuff like this with someone else who's just as enthusiastic about the show, plus it's fun to meet someone who's obviously better knowledgeable in something than I am, cause it makes me realize there will always be something I can improve on.
I personally don't know a lot about geology (still not sure if that's the right term or not-) but I do find it fun to think about all that could be done with powers like in the show to make a natural disaster happen. Though I suppose it wouldn't technically be considered a natural disaster since it would've been caused by some other-worldly power...
Honestly I enjoyed having this conversation with you about it and it's great to know that we were both right in some ways! Bakugou and Kirishima, no matter how they're using their combined powers or if they're combining them at all are both incredibly powerful characters with amazing story arcs and improvement and development, actually, they're probably the characters that I think about most (other than my own twist to the Villain Deku storyline but don't even get me started on that or we'll be here forever).
I'm not sure I have anything else to add, though, so please enjoy your day or week or month and know that I'm glad we had this conversation and I think I learned a bit about something I was never previously super enthusiastic about.
Shower thought here:
If they combined their quirks, Kirishima and Bakugou would be able to create an earthquake without any fault lines even near them. Not to mention if they did it underwater it would cause a literal tsunami.

Ok yeah, haha, you're right. I'm not a whole expert on the whole earthquake idea, now I'm sure you're more knowledgeable on it than me. It definitely makes more sense to just use the quirk on villains instead of attempting to make an earthquake, however I'm not really talking about the quirk being used that way in a practical sense.
Although I'm not particularly knowledagble in geology or earthquakes or whatever you call that (it's geology right?) I do know a bit more about chemistry.
Nitroglycerin is insoluble in water, which means that while it wouldn't behave the same way underwater as it would in above water, it would not dissolve or mix into the water even with the added component of salt. Therefore I believe that Bakugou's quirk would work just as well underwater.
(Chemical enthusiast speaking here- XD)
I do realize now that you're right about how it wouldn't work so well to make an earthquake whether it be underwater or above ground. However, that brings up my next question, would it work any better if they were underground? And if so, how powerful would the earthquake be, how high would it rank on the Richter scale?

Actually Bakugou's quirk doesn't really need to be above water to work. It an explosion, which is a lot more than just fire. It's also force and debris, which can cause just as much damage underwater than above it. Also I never said Kiri could get stronger, but with his hardening quirk, he'd be able to hit the ground harder without getting hurt, unlike most people would. It might be a side effect, but it could be really strong if he used it correctly. I'm not talking like the both of them at once, I'm saying if their quirks were fused into one quirk it would be extremely powerful. I saw a fusion once of a quirk called "shrapnel" (which is where I got the idea) where it's basically the user of Kirishima and Bakugou's combined quirks can explode the outer layer of their skin. Me being a Deku kinnie got all analytical and started analyzing it and realized that if used in the right way and directed at only a certain point, it could be extremely destructive and long-distance. I'm not trying to say your wrong, because you are right about the characters and their quirks individually, I'm just saying I'm not talking about a combined attack, I'm talking about a fusion of their quirks. That's why I phrased it the way I did when I said "if they combined their quirks".

If their quirks were combined (Kirishima's hardening that can't really be broken by anything directly and Bakugou's extreme explosions) if they punched the ground with their quirks combined it would be so huge and so destructive that it could cause an earthquake. And if they did it underwater they'd cause an underwater earthquake which is how tsunamis are formed. And if they really wanted to they could aim the tsunami by hitting the ground at certain angles.
Shower thought here:
