Being a professional #invisibleillness patient #advocate means being open and honest about my health. Part of treating my #migraine disease is keeping my other #chronicillnesses under control. I recently switched from #methotrexate pills to giving myself weekly #methotrexate injections since my #rheumatoidarthritis and #fibromyalgia unexpectedly produced more debilitating symptoms that made it difficult to function normally on a daily basis. If my #fibromyalgia flares-up or my #rheumatoidarthritis attacks my joints, my body acts out. 75% of the time I'll end up with a migraine attack and it's difficult to abort because my body is already at war with itself. This is my reality as a #chronicallyill person.
