I saw a post on Tumblr where it was like "you're colorblind until you meet your soulmate" and it got me thinking about I d e a s-

Also slightly unrelated but also related because color-blindness but I definitely want to write a fic about werewolf dazai x vampire Chuuya where Dazai's colorblind (like; he can only see the colors dogs see--blue, yellow, brown, gray) and genuinely dosen't know he's a werewolf because he's never "shifted fully" yet lol

idk. so many ideas and story WIPS I have saved in my notes now. god

Chuuya used to be able to tell you who this man standing in front of him was, or who the odd blonde man who keeps insisting they're family is. But, now, as he looks at the brunette with the rich soil colored eyes, and over toward the blonde with the hat on, he dosen't know who the hell they are. "Chuuya! Why don't you remember me?" The brunette asked, voice pleading. "He just got out of brain surgery, Osamu, he's probably still on heavy painkillers." The blonde man says, arms crossed across his chest. The man had said he was Chuuya's brother, earlier, but Chuuya sure in hell dosen't have an elder brother. Or a family--wait, who was his mother again? The doctor walks in, his black hair shining slightly. "You two, enough. Let him rest." He said in a clipped voice, looking visibly stressed.

agh. It's just a rough idea for a story, and there's a high chance this won't become more than a wip but shhh LMFAO

A soft click from behind. “Oh—” Dazai blinked and raised his hands in surrender. “Oh no, it looks like I’ve been captured. Whatever shall I do?” Chuuya scowled at him and tossed his coat onto a nearby couch. “What the hell are you doing in my office?” A pause. “Scratch that, what the hell are you doing here at headquarters? How’d you get inside?” “I blended in, duh,” Dazai said simply as he whipped out a pair of sunglasses and waved them around. “Some of them were really quite nice about letting me in.” He hopped up onto the desk and idly swung his legs. “I should be asking you the questions. Why are you working on your birthday?”

Given my lack of experience, if my books were taken away from me, I would be utterly devastated. That’s how much I depend on what’s written in books. I’ll read one book and be completely wild about it - I’ll trust it, I’ll assimilate it, I’ll sympathize with it, I’ll try to make it a part of my life. Then, I’ll read another book and instantly, I’ll switch over to that one.

Little thing to say about part two

I will confirm the title and a few other things of part two for the series!

Part two of Written in my pages will officially be called. . .

"The story lives on".

part two/the story lives on will follow Dazai/Chuuya just like the original story, written in my pages, did. It'll follow their story (hence the title. lol) and other shenanigans they tend to cause

Also, I will say that I'm not sure if i'll end up making a part three for this series. I might, after I finish the second part of this series.

anyway. LOVE YOU ALL!! I'm already starting to write the intro to the second part, so expect a post about it within like...idk my turnaround time. give me 5 business days bro

new fic, but...?

ok, so, I have a fanfiction idea. Yes, I'll still write Written In my Pages (mainly because there's a few more chapters until it's over and I'll need to write a second fic to the series. keep an eye out for that btw)

But I want to do a side project--something that dosen't have strict lore like Written in my Pages does.

So, I present to you, the idea:

[[TW FOR DEATH/VIOLENCE]]

" The recent murders of Yokohama were cruel. Bodies strewn across power lines, or hidden in leaves, or in alley ways. Sometimes there were even bodies of victims found in a house that wasn't theirs. So, Chuuya and Dazai, both Detectives for the Yokohama Detective Agency, need to solve this latest case, and find out who's the one brutally killing these people. But when push comes to shove, secrets are untraveled about both Detectives and especially who they're after. Chuuya finds out really early on who the murderer is. But will he tell everyone else on the Detective team, or will he keep his secrets and obsess? "

I'm not sure. the bare-bones outline sounds pretty dumb but I just really want to write something about Chuuya being a detective with Dazai. Let me know in the notes/reposts/comments what you guys think.

usually I don't like people asking me "how to" things but I actually have an awnser this time lol

MOTIVIATION!!!!

Motivation is the biggest thing ever you need when writing! Usually, to stay motivated, I personally listen to music (the ULTAKILL OST is great to motivate you for fighting scenes...ultrakill my beloved) --but I know that taking a walk or reading something can always get you thinking. For this entire time I've been writing Written in my Pages, I've been reading the "A Good Girl's Guide To Murder" series to keep me motivated!

Taking breaks :D

sometimes you just need to take a break and come back later. For example, scrolling Tumblr/TikTok/any social media, can sometimes turn your brain to icky mush. So, take a break! overworking yourself sucks so sometimes it's best to take a break.

uuuh shit what else

If this helps at all, I personally write in Google keep (which has a word count limit, so often I have to switch to A03 directly 😭) and somehow that keeps me writing. I always have the tab open and usually when I go on really long rides (for example, a few days ago, I went on a 10+ hour trip) I write.

I literally write every given hour I can in my usual day it genuinely might be an issue at this point. anyway yeah I hope that this post helps at least a few people 😭 always write with an open mind. mistakes are okay; and always remember that even if other people don't like your writing, that's okay!!
