You do not understand dear listeners and undertale fans! I cannot vote for one without feeling like I turned my back to the other XD

Sans is a big part of a my early years of tumblr,

I joined tumblr because of undertale and to look at art and aus. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AUS, THE SIMPING, THE SANS SHIPPING AND I LOVED IT (well maybe the sans shipping was odd at the time). I even had a small crush on one of the sanses, not on THE tumblr sexyman but ink sans. I saw the chaos and hate with my own eyes. I know about most aus and I still love talking about that fact XD

Sans is and shall always be THE tumblr sexyman in my mind. Not even the onceler can reach the amount of simps and au versions that sans has and this skeleton has kept up with tumblr sexyman powercreep. He has a place in my heart. My first ever non self insert oc was an undertale oc.

However after I stopped hyperfixating on undertale I didn't use tumblr again (at least not to reblog) until 2019. I moved to the hell that was amino and I'm glad I returned now as I enjoy tumblr.

Cecil Gershwin Palmer, welcome to nightvale has been a big comfort for me even since I started listening to it in 2021. I even went to the haunting of nightvale liveshow with one of my best friends. He's a dilf, he's gay, his original designs followed the tumblr sexyman formula and he's a pillar of tumblr in general. I knew how popular nightvale was in the past and I was aware that it did influence humour as I noticed soon after I started listening. However yesterday I learned HOW important nightvale was for tumblr and I think that is amazing.

This podcast has dragged me through some tough times and I am only on episode 60 something of it. I have memories attach to this podcast of my late grandpa who brought me and my friend to the liveshow driving 2 hours like a madlad to the liveshow. I've gotten life lessons from this podcast, I cannot simply leave that behind.

Nightvale is a second home to me

Okay so like I've been reworking a tma oc of mine who was inspired by spoilers that I heard about season 3 but she ended up kinda boring so I decided to rework her a bit and that included finally giving her a name.

And the name I chose makes me feels very clever XD (also tma spoilers for info learned in season 3)

Okay so context, she's aligned very heavily with the hunt. She's someone who hunts monsters and avatars as a sport and gets a tattoo for every kill she gets based around which entity the creature was from and what powers the monster had.

She sees herself as being on a path like Adelard or Gerry. Even though she definitely is becoming a hunt avatar.

Obviously I decided for her personality and just general vibes/she's in denial about not being an avatar but she's clearly a hunt avatar, I decided to get inspired and base her of a honeybadger.

That includes her hair yes, it's black with dyed streaks of white that sometimes looks grey

So when it came to her name I had no idea where to start. Since I'm horrible at naming ocs (I named a dnd oc that was a spore druid agarix, I thought that was clever). I wanted her to have a nice name at least. Maybe one she picked herself. Then I looked something up about the honeybadger and I found her name.

Rulers of this hellsite, I called her:

Mellivora

I feel very clever when it also feels very obvious XD I think I'm cheeky and funny with the name and I love this oc so much now.

Having a sideblog because when you returned at 16 and using it to post stuff is so funny, cause like I'm still liking stuff with my main blog and following people with it and it's like

Absolutely love this post as its useful for both decent people coming from twitter cause of Elon musk (terfs I will hunt you for sport) and people who struggle learning some of the unspoken rules or people who are coming back from tumblr after years.

A message to Twitter users coming to tumblr: a message from your local duel-hellsite citizen

So, I’ve seen a ton of Twitter users talking about making and sharing their new tumblr blogs, to escape Elon Musk’s “anti censorship” bullshittery. First of all: welcome! I know it’s looking bleak over there; especially for trans people. But, now that you’re here, I’m here to tell you all about tumblr etiquette, how this website works, and how it’s different from Twitter. Because you can’t come onto here acting like it’s Twitter, lest The Beast get to you.

First, here are a small handful of tips!

Your likes and following are automatically set to public. You can make them private in your settings!

You can block tags from the settings, too.

There are lots of bots on here. If you’re not careful, you could be mistaken for one! The main way you can avoid this is changing your icon and header from the defaults.

You can queue and schedule posts so that your account posts throughout the day.

Now, let’s talk tumblr etiquette and how it’s different from Twitter. You’re a tumblr user now! It’s time to start acting like it!

Don’t just like posts. They don’t increase visibility whatsoever. The way that you can help posts that you like is reblogging them to your blog. Especially for art!

We don’t say “oomfs” or “oomfies”. Just “mutuals” is fine, thanks!

Adding onto a post with pointless comments is frowned upon. If all you have to say it “this is so true,” or something else to that effect, you should put that in the tags of your reblog.

Most people don’t have carrds or rentries on here. Some of us do, but it’s not an obligation like it is for Twitter.

Similarly, we don’t censor words like “die” and “death”. Posts about wanting to brutally murder people in power go viral all the time, and it’s completely allowed. I’m serious! Enjoy your newfound freedom!

Blocking isn’t a big deal here. Get rid of any weird notion you have that morality is linked to blocking certain people.

But lastly, and most importantly:

Drop your discourse at the door.

If you try to post about most of the things that Twitter users discourse about, you will be laughed off the site. Especially LGBT+ discourse. Posts actively mocking topics of Twitter discourse go viral on here regularly.

Tumblr has healed since its discourse-ridden days, and it’s now very chill. For a lot of us, it’s the last pleasant social media site left, so don’t ruin it.

Here is a list of discourse-related things that tumblr users don’t do:

We don’t do callout posts, unless it’s something actually serious (like that one blog that had a human slave).

Everything that you heard on Twitter was “exclusive” to certain LGBT+ groups is used by just about everyone on here. Bi women use the double venus symbol on here. You’ll just have to learn to live with that.

In particular, I want to emphasize how much we don’t do flag discourse. To the point that somebody caring about flag discourse of any kind is how we tend to identify an ex-Twitter user.

On here, you will never have to see another slur discourse post again, unless you actively seek it out.

So I messed around a bit and had some fun.

Now I have an idea and kinda wanna doodle and draw more of these dorks. Basically I made my version of the agents, it's just captain 3 and agent 3 in this post XD

Basically the 4 agents are friends in this and I'm gonna have some fun with them interacting in doodles and drawings probably.

Anyway here are captain 3 and agent 3 ^^ they're just sketches so I'll do better drawings of them some other time.

Captain 3, real name Bea. Tired leader of the new squidbeak splatoon.

Cis woman, she/her pronouns

Has a scar from the brainwashing ink alongside a couple of other scars from missions

Likes to wear hoodies as they're very comfortable

Brutally efficient in turf war and ranked if given the chance

Likely has ptsd from being mind controlled (not sure yet)

Their usual gear is the pilot goggles, whatever shirt has the best abilities and those pink boots
