Omg it’s so cute. It’s so cute that it’s already sold LOL
I love it.
I made my flannel binding strips 3” instead of my regular 2.5” because flannel gets thick and I wanted to spread it out a little instead of having a big bump at the edge of the quilt.
I quilted big fat feathers on it to keep it soft instead of over quilting it and having become stiff.
This cute sloth flannel needed to be made into a cute baby quilt ❤️
I’m doing half inch seams instead of a quarter because flannel always tends to fray on me.

This c2c crochet lap blanket is folded in half, but the rainbow just keeps going lol
When my niece saw it, when it wasn’t yet complete, she told me it was for her.
So. It was for her! I finished the c2c stitches, crocheted an edge around it to finish it off and handed it over the next time I went by my brother’s place.

I should dig out this trans WIP and complete it. I’m pretty sure I have all the blocks… somewhere. It wouldn’t be too hard to make some side setting triangles and take it to the shop to quilt it.
*headesk* I don’t remember how big I was making this… probably queen? Maybe generous twin?
I do have the perfect thread for the quilting when I get to it. It’s called Babyshower and it’s pink, blue, and white.
(Even if I don’t find this WIP somewhere in my shed, packed away with all my older projects, I do have plans for a different trans inspired quilt \o/ It may have been my first, it is not my last.)

All done! She’s a very generous twin, or nice double, or skinny queen size, with a vibrant purple flannel back and a tiny purple piping around the binding. I could have added a border in the coordinating fabric, but I liked the solid teal background that made the blocks look like there were floating.
She’s all soft and cuddly and is anyone is interested, running at $750 CAN (+shipping).
Another new fabric line. Made something simple this time. Just need to sew my rows together and then add the one border and she’ll be ready to be quilted.
I’m already thinking that black thread will look good cause it’ll show up on the teal background, or teal thread so it’ll blend in everywhere.
As always, the thread audition will be fun 😁

Half a crocheted baby blanket LOL
I have all the squares complete, I just need to crochet them into the blanket.
Bah humbug about all the loose ends that need weaving though!

Most recent quilt top. I’m taking a long arm quilt class later in the month so I can do some nice stitching on top 🥰 very excited. Not terrible for a first time with stained glass style quilting.

I had enough fabric to make two table runners in this cute little floral. I used different sashing and it made them dramatically different!
I also quilted different patterns on each one.
I finished them both and immediately sold the one on the right. The one on the left with the dark purple sashing and binding is still up for sale for 75$ CAN.

Well, it didn’t last long on my to-be-quilted pile once my oldest nephew saw it LOL
I used glide thread in the colour Reef for the top, and white on the black minky back.
It’s crazy how my phone camera fucks up the colours when I take photos. Same place, same lighting and the top photo is too bright while the bottom is more green/grey.
It’s not Halloween or even close to it, but I’ve had this cut and ready to sew together for a few months. I had a free afternoon and decided to get it off my wip pile.
(Now it’s in my to-be-quilted pile lol)

Quilt top for a table runner. Made this with my free time at the quilt shop I work at. I really enjoy variegated fabric, but it’s hard to find something to use them in sometimes.
I’ll put this on the long arm some time later, when I’m doing a bunch of little stuff.

Quilt put together and on the longarm! I found a great paisley and flower pattern to use that also had some little circles, just like my fabric prints have! Hazzah!
I did change my mind about black quilting and went with a glide colour called Ocean. It’s just a touch darker then the background without being overwhelming.

A little early for Canada Day, but maybe I’ll get it on the long arm before July 1st 😂
Very simple, took me about an hour from first iron and cut to last border end.
Usually the pattern calls for the stripe (accent fabric) to also be the border, but it was giving me a head ache, so I decided to do the maple leaves as the border and leave the stripe for the binding.

From the depths of my stash I have found 15 teals (some more blue, some more green) fat quarters (or more) for this quilt.
I also found 4+ meters of a nice pink for the background. Since pink was the runner up, and it looks good with teal ;)
If I were to make another Beads (also known as Chandelier) quilt, what should my colour scheme be? (You can see samples of the pattern if you check my “beads by jordan fabrics” tag)
I do wanna make another one, but I am tired of picking colours lmao
You can add pastels, brights, or darks in comments or notes if you want.
If there is a tie, I will incorporate both 😁
(am i trying to use up some of my stash?
yes.
do i have all these options in the right amounts in my stash?
…. of course i do.)

Final vote’s in and the winner is teal 🎉
I love teal! When I get home from work I will be digging into my stash for some fabrics :D
