Shout-out to the old man who wore pink shorts and a big Malibu barbie shirt and a pink hat with a blonde barbie wig at my showing of Oppenheimer.

He was either coming from barbie or going to barbie afterwards but either way I respect the commitment.

The amount of little girls dressing up for barbie and grown ass women too and even men is honestly so amazing, kinda makes me emotional to see it at my local theaters.

It really feels like...the movie of the year. Just this big event, that everyone was so excited for.

It was nostalgic without being shallow and vain, it was colorful and fun and bright, while also being intellectual and thoughtful and feminist.

It was a criticism of capitalism while also begrudgingly admitting to being a part of it too, with self aware and tongue in cheek jokes about itself.

Aside from Mario, I can't think of any other movie that's had this kind of excitement. People dressing up to go to the movies is so fun and awesome.
