I love how in the first picture it looks like Tissaia wants to stand between Yen and Philippa to make sure she doesn't come any closer to Yen.

I just love that scene and all its details!

As always Myanna did a great job with her facial expressions! That whole time she was looking at Yennefer but in the moment in which she steps forward to execute Cahir Tissaia looks away. And not just because that whole scene is wrong for her. But because she knew how much Yennefer doesn't want to do this. She knew how tierd Yennefer was after what happened in Sodden, that she doesn't want to have any more blood on her hands.

She just can't watch Yennefer do something else she doesn't want to do so she looks away. Only when she hears Yennefer breaking the chains does she look again. Because she needs to know that Yennefer is doing alright.

And the best part, while everyone flinches when Yennefer smashes the fireplaces Tissaia just stand there, keeps watching her and doing nothing.

She just stands there unimpressed like she never expected something else.

And let's not forget the little smile she has when she sees Yennefer successfully escaping. Because yes, I totally think it is a little smirk in her face.

It's always the whispered "No" of Tissaia that gets me. It's so quiet and sad while it sounds like she's starting to tear up again. You can clearly see how much it hurts Tissaia that Yennefer thinks so little of herself and believes she is worthless without her chaos.

This scene right up there is the definition of the "Your pain is my pain" line. Because it is clearly seen that Yennefer isn't just anyone for Tissaia. It's written all over her face how important Yennefer is to her and how much it affects her that she couldn't help her. In this scene Tissaia is in pain because Yennefer is in pain and Myanna shows this perfectly through her acting.

I mean look at her face. The little head shake. The way how she closed her eyes. Yennefers words stab right into her heart.

No one would ever love her? But Tissaia this is exactly what you do.

Tissaia shows in season 2 in so many ways that she cares for Yen and I love it! She literally tortured a man to find her. You can see how much it hurts Tissaia that she can't help Yennefer in that scene and that she wished she could. That woman is close to tears AGAIN for Yennefer. It's like Tissaia said, Yen's pain is her pain.

In two episodes we saw her at least three times crying. No one could love her, my ass! That's love!Risking everything for the person you love, doing everything you can and FIGHTING for them.

Not Yen almost died in 3x04 and the first person she wants to see was Tissaia. I mean I would too but...

Right?

I mean look at her. She seemed so lost in that scene while she remembers what happened. And the first person she wanted to tell about what happened was Tissaia.

And it also shows again how much she really trusts Tissaia. Something bad happened, is going to happen. And the first person she wants to tell, who she thinks needs to know, is Tissaia. Because she trusts that Tissaia can handle the problem.

Yennefer goes through the five stages of grief only to end up with searching for revenge for Tissaia.

Yes. I can see everything from denial to acceptance before she's searching for revenge for everything Vilgefortz did to her.

But while all of this happens her first priority will still be to find Ciri and make sure she has a save place when they found her.

I really hope that she is the one who fights Vilgefortz in the end and that she is the one who kills him but I am worried that they will let Ciri do that...

And girl you did. After the battle of Sodden when no one knew where she was... While Vilgefortz stabbed dead corpses and Geralt mourned her do you reminded who searched for her without a break? Who waited a whole month to add her name to the list of the dead?

Tissaia did.

Tissaia was so desperate in the days after the battle. She herself was still weakened by the Dimeritium poisoning but she still searched the battlefield for any sign of Yennefer. She penetrated the minds of all the dead in the hope of finding out where she was last seen. She obviously cried for her.

She really tried everything to find out what happened with her. From searching in other people's minds to torturing Cahir. Her first priority in the days that followed was Yennefer. Find her and make sure she is alright.

Her whole life Yennefer wanted someone who cares for her. Who appreciate her for what she is and she never really saw how much Tissaia cared for her and how much she wanted her back.

And I really hate it that they never mentioned the things that happened after or during the battle ever again.

In the first place this seems really cruel to say. Especially after someone tried to kill herself but on a second sight? She said that thousands wouldn't care. But she could've said that no one at all would care. But she didn't. Because she actually did care. She didn't always show it but from the moment they met she always cared for Yennefer.

And I like to think that Yennefer realized it too and that she knew that Tissaia saved her because why would she have saved her if no one cared? Because Tissaia did.

And I really hope we will get a little bit of Yennefer's grieving process in season 4 because I think it wouldn't do justice to the relationship they had if Yennefer just got over it so easily.

Just Tissaia recognizing Yennefer's chaos. Because I love the headcanon that she can sense Yen's chaos and that she had always known where Yennefer was on the continent. And that's why she thought Yen was dead and how she knew that she no longer had her chaos when they saw eachother again in 2x03. Because for the first time in decades she couldn't feel her chaos anymore.

So when Yennefer enters the room in 2x03 you can clearly see the surprise and joy in Tissaia's face. She didn't expect to see her again. The tears in her eyes paired with the little smile when she saw her alive. Everything was just perfect. Myanna's acting was perfect as always. And I think- no I know that from the moment she entered that room Tissaia knew she had lost her chaos.

I had a talk with a friend about that Yennefer/Tissaia scene in that bank in 3x03 and that she thinks it was a little to much/ to explicit for Tissaia to point it out like that that Yennefer became a mother. Now I always think of an scene where Tissaia sees from further away Yennefer and Ciri interacting with each other and how Yennefer takes care of Ciri. She would have this soft and proud look because she realizes that Yennefer has finally made it. She became a mother.

It's a shame that we didn't get a funeral scene for Tissaia.

So how do you think where the days before her funeral? Do you think Yennefer would've hold the eulogy? Or do you think she might have been too desperate so someone else would've say something? Maybe Rita?

Oh yeah, we were robbed. I think that could've been an last emotional and sad scene for season 3. But for that we have fanfiction, right?

I think the days before her funeral where really depressing. Even more than the days after the coup bc they thought they would've finally buried the last ones and then they didn't. And of all people it's Tissaia, even from her own hands. It was defently a shock for everybody.

I think the people who were the most effected by her death were Rita and Yennefer. I also could see them both holding the eulogy at her funeral but I think it was Yennefer while Rita did all the other organizational things with Triss.

We saw how Yennefer told Geralt in Brokilon that she was angry with Tissaia because she left her alone so I can imagine that at the beginning she didn't want to do the speech, probably she decided to do the speecht in the last moment. In the end she decided to do it as a way to pay her final respects to Tissaia and thank her one last time for everything she has done for all of them but especially for her. And maybe in the end she would say something addressed to the other mages, that Tissaia's dead and the dead of all the other mages will not be for nothing and something similar to the things she said in the end of season 3.
