I’m doing a dissertation/thesis in my fourth year of university. The topic is on the gender representation within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’m looking at whether or not the gender roles are evolving within the MCU.

The survey should only take a few minutes. If there is a question relating to something you haven’t seen (Age of Ultron or Jessica Jones for example) feel free to skip them, you can say why in the comment box or just leave it blank. You won’t be obligated to answer any of them before moving on to the next quest and it is completely anonymous.

In regards to the characters mentioned in the favourites list, I never mentioned any villains because my focus is more on the ‘heroes’. (Sorry Loki fans, you can mention him in the boxes though!)

If you feel as though you have to rant about Captain America’s outfit not being tight enough? Go for it! Black Widow not having her own movie STILL? Go for it! Everything literally helps me at this point.
