It's natural to want to be kind and helpful to those around us. However, when someone starts taking advantage of that kindness, it's important to set boundaries.
People who take advantage of others often do so without even realizing it. They may not intend to harm you, but their actions can still be hurtful.
Remember that your own well-being is important too. You don't have to put up with behavior that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy just to be nice.
By setting boundaries and standing up for yourself, you're showing others that you value your own needs and feelings. This can actually lead to more respectful and positive relationships in the long run.
It's never easy to confront someone who's been taking advantage of you, but it's important to do so in a respectful and assertive way. Don't be afraid to speak up for yourself.
Remember, you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. If someone is consistently taking advantage of you, it's okay to stop being nice to them and protect your own well-being.
