I finally went through and scanned a bunch of stuff I had piled up, so the bg on this is a little wall tapestry thing and some tissue paper I got in an order at some point ages ago. Also scanned in the art obvs :D

I love my scanner ty for existing, pal.

I used to do a ton of manips and photo collages back in the day, and I forgot how much joy it brings me. Might be doing more of this, we'll see mwahaha

In honor of the new episode today (which I'm feeling very normal and well adjusted about as I wait for the premiere to start XD) please have my recent art hyperfixation ~

This is what happens when your manager [Gangle] is replaced by Kinger smh lolol I genuinely want to do more for this series, but I know episode six is probably going to take up major brain space and I wanted to get my initial painting ideas done before the premiere XD

I'm probably going to post a speedpaint somewhere at some point - either YT or TT probably? We'll see. Too hyper and anticipation-anxious rn to plot and scheme about that smh

I had SO much fun painting this, and I hope my recipient likes it! They're tagged on my bsky post, but I couldn't find an active Tumblr of theirs! (EDIT: HERE THEY ARE! :D hehehe @tentiebear !) I've been meaning to draw cuddling and more cozy moments more since my first TADC drawing, and this was the perfect prompt. I'm so grateful I got to do this!

As for the zine, it's been an amazing year. And I couldn't be more grateful for this server and everyone in it. It's been an indescribably wonderful experience and shaped my life in so many new and exciting ways. Here to many more, friends!

New Arcane S2 study WIP

Sneaky peaks ~~~

I'm trying a couple 'new' things this time and I really like the effect and process so far :D

I'm trying to: a) loosen up and keep things a lil messy instead of being super particular about everything lmao, b) study the style without trying to directly mimic it this time (aka, figuring out how I can learn from this while staying in a stylistic comfort zone) &, c) textuuuureee! I'm very happy with the textures on this one so far mwahaha! This kinda goes with 'a' but, I do tend to zoom in way too much when working and get bogged down in details, so I'm trying to stay further out when painting in, and saving any particular/finicky details (like the eyes) for last so I don't over-render or over-blend. Sharper lines and color zones, etc etc

I'm also generally trying to find the fun in these things again! I tend to take things very seriously, and I sometimes loose the wonder and awe of making things, trying to keep that whimsy and joy >:3

No rules, just paint what I want whenever its fun XD

I really wanted to practice backgrounds, atmosphere, & perspective with this one, and I'm really pleased with what I managed tbh. Crona's been one of my favorite characters forever, so it felt really good to finally draw my baby.

I'm gonna try to have the speedpaint up on my YT later this week, but editing on this temp computer is hell, so wish me luck XD When that's done I'll link it here.

My activity went from normal to NOTHING over the past two weeks??? The only activity I've had is when I friend and I checked of if it was my notifs that were bugging again (they weren't).

No big tbh, I'm just confused XD Is anyone else dealing with this?

Just curious what the heck is happening bc I'm posting art for the same fandoms + soul eater (which is newer art-wise for me) and nothing??? I've even posted two radiostatic pieces which usually do well XD

I haven't finished a big render like this in a long time, so it felt good to actually reach the finish with this piece! I've been feeling pretty crappy this week, so it was fun to just focus on making something special for a friend :3 (actually two friends, it was @pennedinblood 's birthday yesterday and I made them a lil' Hazbin OC >:3)

I'm still waiting for the shipping container with a lot of my stuff (like my comp, sewing machine, etc.) so a lot of my bigger projects are still on hold, but I'm really grateful I can do stuff like this in the interim!!!!! :D
