The Better Father

I need an AU where Danny has Adopted Conner as his current youngest son and sidekick. (He’s going to adopt more children). Everyone in Young Justice has already met Danny and absolutely agree that he is the better father. Their mentors don’t know about this whole thing, the only person who is aware is Black Canary but she doesn’t say anything about it. When Danny isn’t there to help them train (Because he’s doing King things) , Ellie and Dan are there to crash on their couch (Like the older siblings they are).

This all comes to a head when there is skill evaluation meeting (Like a Parent-Teacher Meeting), when the Young Justice mentors come meet with Black Canary to discuss their sidekicks skill development. Danny is Conner’s new father and mentor so of course he going to be there but remember the other League members don’t know about him. 

When he arrives the League members are absolutely confused as hell Because 1) He’s sitting next to Conner in the waiting room and 2) he doesn’t look like any League member they know. He’s also not dressed like a normal hero. Danny came dressed to the extreme, dressed like a rich nobleman from fantasy novels. An expensive black suit with black gloves, a fur coat over his shoulders, his long black hair in the mom anime hairstyle, his blue eyes behind glasses and not wearing the Ring of Rage or Crown. He wasn’t about to embarrass his son in front of his friends mentors. (Not realising that is already happening).

Batman opened his mouth to say something about this unknown person in a top secret location. But some quick hand movement from Robin shut that down. Everyone sat down next to their sidekicks, side eyeing the unknown man who was chatting it up with the Young Justice team talking about his time as a teenage hero. (They were actually giving him their full attention!)

The silence was tense for the mentors, not really for the sidekicks, until Superman showed up. He had been delayed by an attack in his city. He didn’t look particularly comfortable to be there. Everything became really tense when he finally noticed Danny sitting in his seat next to Conner. 

Everything became quiet, until Danny looked up. 

“May I help you?”

The question was cold sounding in the otherwise warm room. Conner looked between Danny and Clark before he looked away with a huff. (Father…..Yes, you are embarrassing me)

“Who are you?! And why are you sitting next to Super boy?”

“I’m here for the skill evaluation of course. And I am right where I am supposed to be. Is there a problem?”

The tense was becoming uncomfortable. It was only broken when Black Canary’s officer door opened. She looked up at the scene. She glanced at Superman and the rest of the League members (Yikes), looking uncomfortable, before she turned to the unknown man. 

“Phantom, Superboy, it’s your turn”

Phantom stood up and Superboy quickly followed.

They only found out who Phantom was later, when Constantine gave them a frog blink and asked Superman why he had invoked the anger of a god.

When Jason shots Scarecrow and free Bruce in Arkham Knight, he already has a red bat painted on his militia fit, WHICH MEANS, after being defeated by Batman, he went around Gotham looking for red paint to mark himself as one of the bats. This boy. He wanted Bruce to look at him in the eyes when he died, but the moment they do look at each other in the eyes for more than a couple of seconds, Jason folded and went back to being an ally of Batman. The months/year of torture did not stand a chance to having his dad calling him Robin and asking him to come home. And I think Jason knew that the moment he revealed himself and saw Bruce's reaction, because during their fight, Jason keeps trying to keep his distance, doesn't look at Bruce for long and refuses to listen to him. He thought it was going to be easy, but the moment he was facing his dad and saw the emotions on his face, he started losing determination in his vengeance.

But also, Bruce not being able to punch the Knight because he can see Jason's face. He is looking in the eyes of his son and he cannot punch his son!

1. yes they have rumble’s body! as for how they’ve been preserving it…idk sci fi pickle jar or something. they currently have him stashed somewhere where no one else can find him. haha rumble pickle

2. so far only ravage and megatron know! ravage clocked what they were trying to do IMMEDIATELY and she’s the one who carried the news to megatron. in this AU ravage is soundwave’s mentor figure and she’s extremely in tune to his mentality, and while she and megatron both have faith in soundwave to steer off this path he’s going down, they’re very worried.

as for shockwave, it has definitely occurred to soundwave to ask him for guidance with all the scientific lunacy going down, but in the end the two of them are too bitterly at odds to ever see eye to eye. shockwave doesn’t see the logic behind what they’re trying to do, and soundwave refuses to let anyone else have a hand in his work when he and frenzy have hinged so much on it. it is simply too personal, you see, and he will never trust his boys around someone who has no concept of love.

while the two of them are content to maintain their relationship out of professional courtesy, neither wish to be involved in the other's business.

Your post about Senku being a Gen hater is pure gold, because it's so funny and true. Senku darling, why are you so obsessed with a fake magician? Because that's the real question, why would Gen in particular bother you when there were many similar people in the entertainment world in his time, why not just ignore him and move on? But no, Senku read his books just to criticize him and call him a fake in the stone world, I know you said that Gen's attitude maybe bothers him because it clashes with his own extremely honest personality, but the truth is that just like you said, Senku has no problem with Gen lying and manipulating as long as he's on his side.
