I think a really interesting angle to look at Gortash's and Durge's relationship from, is the twisted sense of...safety Gortash got from it.
Safety? Around the Dark Urge? You must be mad Tumblr user Felassanis! Well give me a second.
It's about the same type of safety you might get from a really violent dog that trusts only you. Who snaps and is willing to bite anyone except the one holding it's leash. This is great for maybe going on walks if you're terrified of being attacked. A good dog to have in a house in case of burglary or whatever...
And Gortash has never really known much safety. He wasn't safe from the abuse of his parents, the abuse and danger of being raised by Raphael and his staff. He's not even really safe from Bane, his own God, who Gortash MUST know that if he fails him Bane is gonna make him suffer big time. Then, he was in a very dangerous line of work being an arms dealer in the Underworld prior to becoming a lord, surrounded by crime syndicates out to stop him from rising the ranks.
The guy literally has anti-anxiety armour. He, to his core, is pretty much still that terrified little boy Raphael had in the Hells, the little boy cowering from his vile parents.
Then he meets The Dark Urge. The child of the God of Murder Bhaal. The progeny of one of the most darkest and most violent assassins to ever walk the world. An Assassin themselves. And they enter a deal together, one out of neccessity to achieve their ends of course. But wherever Gortash points...Durge will go and kill.
That's perhaps not the strongest basis for a relationship. But then, Gortash and Durge start...admiring one another. Deeply. And this is where I steer into head-canon territory...but imagine having a Bhaalspawn as deadly and as effective as Durge essentially almost at your beck and call. But more than that, they are your partner. Dare I say, Durge potentially becomes Gortash's own assassin?
If someone were to try and take Gortash out. Durge would stop them. And it would be for more than just to safeguard their alliance so they can dominate the world. It's also because Durge likes Gortash. They don't want him dead, the bond has gone much deeper now.
Gortash has always had to save himself. Look out for himself. Until he finds an equal and a partner in The Dark Urge. And there is so much you can chew on with that.
That's an incredibly powerful thing to have. The admiration of a Bhaalspawn like Durge. A cruel, violent thing that he has the confidence of. A murderous creature who stays their hand around him, but will snap at whichever target he points at. That must be such a safety net for Gortash, and it's not just one he's bought out, or dominated, or tricked into serving him whatever. This safety net comes from somewhere genuine that he has EARNED because he's gained Durge's admiration.
To Gortash, being the fucking exception to a creature of murder must be such a privilege. And it gets him a kind of safety he's never known from another person. Ad yeah, he definitely saw the benefit of having this from a detached standpoint - ooh look at me, Durge won't kill me and that pissess off literally everyone and I can use this to my advantage. But I reckon Gortash, who also respects Durge, is honoured by it. Affected by it. Cherishes it.
Going into MAJOR head-canon/fanfic territory. It's even intriguing to think about this mostly violent person being vulnerable and softer around Gortash. (Like the mornings waking up together hehe) Seeing these humanising moments that, arguably the Chosen of Bane shouldn't be privvy to as no doubt Bhaal is fucking seething. But he sees it anyway, and is likely the only person ever to see them like this. His own little reign of tyranny over them as he sees sides to them never shown before. But it's a two-way street - Gortash when he reunites with the Dark Urge, is very visibly on display very happy to see them. He's not able to contain it much because...he thought they were dead. His favourite assassin, and here they are alive and well and things can go back to the way they were and he's elated at that idea.
Lastly, I have to rain on the parade just a bit with some canon. Yes, there is a sense of privelege to being the only one a violent dog won't attack. But how permanent is that relationship? A really violent dog in reality, is only a few triggers away from turning on you. Biting you. And in Durge's case, yes they maybe don't want to kill Gortash. But that isn't how it was ever going to end between them. Funnily enough, Gortash's safety around Durge was only ever temporary. Gortash was always going to die one way or another and it's extra tragic if the one person he ever found some safety in is the one to turn the knife on him. Even more so, because it was originally destined to be this way had they dominated the world. Gortash was both safe and never safe from The Dark Urge.

NOT TO SUDDENLY DROP THIS AT 12AM BUT i feel like infodumping about my mcu insert so.. HERE YOU GO LUCKY RABBIT LORE DUMP!! Be warned it might be a lot 😔
Tumblr media
so ofc i don’t have powers because i always felt like giving myself powers bordered on oc territory so i have a bo staff instead :))
as for lore in the mcu i’m first introduced as a shield agent in training and i’m relatively always around steve like a lost puppy (or in this case bunny!)- when steve gets ambushed by hydra i join him no questions asked and im pretty much there helping him/sam/natasha fight the whole movie!!
then we go onto age of ultron/civil war where i actively participate (and yes i’m on team steve sue me) but it’s the inbetween that matters since i went off on my own and found bucky in romania. tldr i always felt like we had a connection after ca/tws so i manage to get him to warm up to me and i occasionally return to him with food/neccessities! but after ca:cw i become a fugitive with steve and the gang and join them on their ventures while occasionally visiting bucky in wakanda when i can!
avengers infinity war + endgame is pretty typical @ staying with steve’s faction the whole time + watching bucky get blipped since I dont ☹️ during the 5 year gap i imagine i still do hero-work and become friends with nebula + rocket. And i imagine at that point natasha or i find out i’m related to bucky (bcuz of his sister/maybe im like her great grandaughter or something i dunno) SO IM 💔 the only family i’ve got is gone. yada yada thanos battle happens AND YAYY MY UNC IS BACK!
FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER IS WHERE IT GETS JUICY!!! surpriseee i knew john walker in high school and we we’re pretty much crushing on each other/maybe even dating for a short time(?) until i got early graduation due to my shield job 😔 thus having him move on to olivia even tho he always yearned for me. SO THAT REUNION AT HIS CAPTAIN AMERICA INTERVIEW AT THE FOOTBALL FIELD OF OUR OLD HIGH SCHOOL IS AWKWARD!!! i mostly roll with bucky and sam the whole time while john urges me to help him but i can’t leave my unc.. anyways THE THING JOHN DID HAPPENED. i’m stuck in the middle of what to do and i visit him after his court hearing only for him to grovel at my knees and suggest running away together AND IM LIKE ????? bcuz as good as that sounds i gotta be a rational bun and not enable THAT. so i gotta seperate myself from him for a longgg while/the last we see each other is the ending fight scene and it’s a silent goodbye/see you later..
Far from home/guardians vol 3 are kinda like filler epidodes bcuz i got to chaparone peter’s field trip to distract myself from being sad about walker only to almost get into a toxic relationship with mysterio/quentin beck! ofc he’s defeated but it very much leaves emotional damage.. THEN the gotg holiday special happens and that’s when i find out walker and his wife are expecting a baby SO IM ABOUT TO CRASH OUT Until I get a knock on my door from mantis and drax who need my help traversing rural LA! Ofc i accept, hijinks ensue and i eventually get returned home by nebula but she can tell i’m hesitating and can tell i seemed happier with them SO SHE SUGGESTS IF I WANNA JOIN THEM FOR A WHILE AND IM LIKE PLEASE!!! i say my lil ‘see you later’ to bucky since i imagine im staying with him and he’s so the one who gives the mcu dialogue saying “i need Space” (get it bcuz GOING TO SPACE) Anyways im there on the side in Vol 3 and return home when Peter Quill goes back to earth at the end and me and bucky do our little catching up :))
THUNDERBOLTS IS WHAT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!! I decide it’s finally a good time to reconnect with Walker and so we do And i can already tell something is up with him and I track his phone down to track him to the Vault. (Since i’d ofc not associate myself w Valentina) Vault events ensue and I’m still under the belief Walker is married (the dumb unaware bun) Until we get to the gas station scene where Bucky says what he says about Walker’s wife leaving with his kid AND I JUST PUT MYSELF IN YELENAS PLACE JUST THIS ONCE BCUZ I NEED HIM TO LOOK AT ME W THAT SAD LOOK BAD!!! I imagine I get a little >:/ at bucky for not telling me he knew that info about John, but i understand because he cares about me and doesn’t want Walker to hurt me again (uncle moment..). Sentry fight happens and we’re outside the tower/yelena calls everyone out/so it’s just me, walker and bucky outside the tower #awkward and i ask him why he didn’t tell me about olivia and he hits me with "...Telling my ex that my wife left is the last thing that comes to mind when I think of things I can do." (I stole this from lola my goat who wrote this John bar..) and him telling me to just go since everyone else seemingly left. THEN VOID APPEARS AND VOID ROOM MADNESS BEGINS i had a cool idea of our rooms connecting like that one part in it chapter 2 w ben and beverly’s fear rooms ehhehe i havent decided how that’d go yet but i imagine he sees one of my fear rooms being about mysterio.. i see his having one with lemar in it.. and maybe the last one is our last meeting together… HURTING EACH OTHER WAS ONE OF OUR BIGGEST REGRETS!!!!!! anyways we get free, help bob, group hug and unintentionally become new avengers!!! then maybee theres implications we end up together in the post credit scene via me stealing his beret and being X)
CONGRATS YOU GUYS READ MY ESSAY JUST TO BE ANNOYING ABOUT ME X WALKER!!!! im sorry to anybody who read all that i usually hate typing/lore dumping this much But i felt inspired to share hehehehe

He's talking to her with that smile on his face again. You really shouldn't be bothered by this anyway, so why do you keep staring? You know how this story ends for you anyways.
You quickly turned around, not wanting to invade upon Satoru's buisness any further. You weren't outright bothering him, but you have a feeling he wouldn't enjoy you staring at him from behind the corner like some stalker. Not when he has better things to be looking at.
You've been married to Gojo Satoru for exactly 3 months now. It was a marriage born of neccessity, pure interest to stop marriage pressure from your families. Atleast on his side, it was. He made that clear during the marriage proposal.
"Well, I'm mostly just doing this so mom stops nagging me about finding a wife already. I'm sure the same applies to you."
Those words have been replaying in your head for a while now. You've known Satoru only for about a year at that point, and even then it was mostly through social events you attended that he also happened to be attending.
So needless to say, it was simulaneously a complete surprise and completely expected when he suddenly gave your family a surprise visit to offer his hand in marriage.
You knew there was zero romantic feelings involved from the very beginning, so you know you shouldn't be surprised if Satoru wants to leave you for Lady Ichikawa, the girl he talks to almost every day. But your heart can't help but clench at the sight, and you wish Satoru could...
Nevermind.
You should be attending to your duties anyways.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You sighed, practically collapsing on your bed. Finance is not fun, to say the least. Being the Lady of the house is a suprisingly tiring job, and definitely gives you more respect for your mother.
The servants had already helped you change into your night gown, and you were perfectly ready to hit the hay right now.
As the servant put out the lights in the chandelier, you thought about Satoru again. The guy is an annoyingly persistent thought in the back of your head, that's for sure.
You haven't even talked in a week.
Sure, the two of you tend to get busy, but this essentially just proves to you what kind of marriage this is. If he did care about you, he would've checked up on you atleast once, wouldn't he..? You don't have a right to complain about it anyways, since you were the one who agreed to the marriage in the end. You should be grateful you even had a say in it.
As the servant closed the door behind you, you clutched the pillow in your hand. Maybe if you keep being useful, he won't discard you. You've only been thinking of yourself up until now. You just now realise that if he leaves you for Lady Ichikawa, you'll lose your family face.
This is shaping up to be a nightmare.
Suddenly, you hear a knock on the door. "Oiiii, can I come iiiin?"
Well, speak of the devil. You would recognise that voice anywhere. "Sure, come in." you said so, but did you want to face him right now? You felt conflicted, both really happy and really nervous.
As the door opened, you turned your head, his silhouette, illuminated by the lights in the doorway coming into view. "Man, it's dark in here. You're going to sleep so early?" he said casually as he turned on the oil lamp on your table.
You only nodded in response, looking at him with half wonder half suspicion. Why is he paying you a visit all of a sudden? "What..? Can't a husband visit his wife?" Satoru furrowed his brows, noticing your dimmly lit expression and sitting down on the edge of your bed.
"I'm happy you're here." You assured him. And you truly were.
"Right, of course you are." Satoru smirked boldly at you, but somehow, you could tell that he was relieved to hear it. He looked in front of him.
"I got you this." he said a little more quietly, handing you a book as you sat up in bed. But it wasn't just any book. "No way... how did you even get your hands on this?!" you blinked multiple times in the dim light, making sure your eyes weren't playing tricks on you.
When you realised how loud you just were, you quickly covered your mouth, and Satoru laughed at you for a bit before saying "I have my ways."
"That... doesn't answer the question. How much did this even cost?"
"...You shouldn't worry so much."
That idiot... You took another look at the book in your lap, the rare book you were trying to get your hands on for 3 years at this point. You can't help but wonder if the emergency finance work you had to do today has something to do with this.
"...Why?" you looked back up at him.
"Why what?" he flashed his usual smile at you, his white lashes fluttering as he gazed at you. This all seems... odd.
"Why did you get this for me? Why would you spend so much money on me? How did you even know I wanted this? What are you trying to do... here..." your last question died off as you saw his expression slowly shift to one of concern.
"You're... my wife? And I happen to know you want this? What kind of questions even are those, seriously." he scoffed, shaking his head.
"But... Lady Ichikawa..." why would he spend money on you when he could be putting it towards his future with Lady Ichikawa? Wait, why did you even start assuming that he'll leave you any minute to begin with? Gosh...
"Oh, her? Wait... are you jealous?" he raised his eyebrows playfully, leaning back. "Not really, I just thought that you... like her more than me." it felt strange finally admitting this to him.
"Ehhh.... She's just a friend, ya know. And I actually mean it. Why would I like her more?" Satoru looked as unaffected as ever, smiling at you. But beneath that nonchalant attitude and those shining blue eyes of his, you could feel confusion, doubt, and something else.
"You said in your proposal t-that... So I thought Lady Ichikawa..." all the turmoil that had been building up inside you for the last three months finally let loose, with you trying your best to speak through your tears. Isn't this pathetic?
"Shhh, I know what I said back then. But now that I actually have you, I dunno anymore. I wanna try out this whole love thing." Satoru moved up on the bed, moving over to your side and gently petting your head.
"In other words, you can stop crying now. Because I'm not letting you go anytime soon."
Tumblr media
i dont like this one all that much I'll be real, but then again when do I ever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
this is actually based on a very specific manga plot, if you get it right I'll give you a gold star ⭐

Thoughts on ketu in purvashadha. I read your post on ketu's association with creativity but also any other observations. It's in 6h saggitarius with sun and mercury in mula. Thanks
Hii
Again, rambled a lot 😭 but it's worth it.
Basically, you can read my post about ketu, I also talk about my ketu in jyeshta there but you just apply that to purva ashadha and its themes.
A good way to understand purva ashadha (and any other nakshatra) is to compare it to other nakshtaras ruled by the same planet, in this case, venus.
Bharani is venus channeled through mars(active mars, aries/1st house), which means that it takes the energies of venus and protects/defends(mars themes) them. This is mostly the origin of developing/cultivating beauty and abundance and the neccessity of gatekeeping in order to achieve that. It's also focused on self, because it's in aries, so, bharani is the nakshatra connected to physicality and the rules of the material world(in every sense), and how the female body itself is what birthes and manifests life into the material, and how its THE thing to be worshipped. I have a long post about bharani and yet I still have so much more I want to say about it 😭 but you get the gist.
Purva Phalguni is venus channeled through sun(leo/5th house) but it's more laid back, relaxed and more actively focused on enjoyment. Bharani is more passive and more focused on self-preservation than Purva Phalguni. Purva Phalguni finds pleasure in giving(Bharani is the yoni, P. Phalguni is the phallus). It's venus integrated into the identity/ego/self(sun). Bharani's self-focus is more about the literal body and basic self-awarness, P. Phalguni is about love, pleasure and art as enjoyment. Both Bharani and P. Phalguni are very sexual in nature, in different ways, but in my experience, even if natives of those two don't have much in common they still get along well, or at the very least genuinely appreciate and respect each other. Their yoni animals are said to have a special relationship(elephant and rat).
Now to Purva Ashadha, which is not as sexual(not usually and not overtly at least) as other venus nakshatras. It's venus channeled through jupiter, so, venus here is focused on expansion and philosophies. This is venus energies being idolized, moralized and "promoted", so to speak. It's literally what it sounds like. Purva Ashadha is about gaining alliances to secure your victory, about determination. I think out of all venus nakshatras purva ashadhas have the most potential to be snobbish, just because it has a tendency to moralize beauty and art. There obviously is a lot of truth in one thing being superior to another, but unevolved purva ashadhas are the ones that fail to realize that some things they claim to be objectively good might just be enjoyed by them, but they don't back down easily. I just realized how propagandist this nakshatra can be omg. Anyways, aside from that, evolved ones know when to be not bother with trying to prove their superiority and realize that the oens who are meant to share their ideals and be their true allies will naturally reveal themselves.
The thing about ketu is that you yourself know it best. It's verrrryyyy personal. It's literally yoir past lives stored together, your most primal and familiar part, so, if you're asking someone else what its about you're kinda doing it wrong, cause no one else can tell you about that part of yourself(any part of yourself, actually, but this part esp. so). I think you already have an innate understanding of your ketu, I think everyone does. It's what you've known since very early childhood, it's what you think your past life was like, it's those themes and energies you know too well. Ketu is stillness, the hidden, the transcendental. It's your foundation, it's the conqueror, it's where YOU set the rules, because you have a clean slate. It's about liberation.
Btw, if you see a lot of posts nudging you towards rahu cause it's the future and your destiny, do the opposite cause rahu is already a very high-alert, hyper-aware, anxious place in a chart and since rahu is always connected to ketu, ketu is what gives you the power to achieve your destiny. Rahu will make you aimlessly chase different things, thinking it's doing a good job, but ketu has the real power, in a sense that it has a real knowing understanding of what its doing, without being aware that it is. Rahu thinks it knows and it does not, Ketu does not even know there's anything to know and it just naturally moves. So, I'd advise to not fall into the trap of looking oitside of yourself, thinking there's something to do. Find the stillness within yourself and you'll discover things you probably did not even know were there. Be natural, be detached, be yourself and I think you'll connect to your ketu.
I'd love to know if this has resonated with you.

*Finishing my last question cause I typed enter accidentally*
Do you think Jane Austen married Edmund and Fanny out of neccessity? Like she wouldn't have been able to get the book published if she didn't, or because she feared it would get backlash for breaking convention? Because when I read this bit —
"I purposely abstain from dates on this occasion, that every one may be at liberty to fix their own, aware that the cure of unconquerable passions, and the transfer of unchanging attachments, must vary much as to time in different people. — I only intreat everybody to believe that exactly at the time when it was quite natural that it should be so, and not a week earlier, Edmund did cease to care about Miss Crawford, and became as anxious to marry Fanny, as Fanny herself could desire."
— I remember thinking it was a copout. Like, if she'd known how to get them together in a way that was nice and made sense, she would have written it. Cause I think a more natural ending to the story would have been Fanny getting over her feelings for him after seeing his many weaknesses, and Edmund looking at Fanny with actual respect after seeing her strengths, and them ending up friends in more equal grounds. A tables turned kind of thing. Like, I like thinking of Edmund going to Fanny for vibe checks when he's courting women. So I wonder if that's the ending she would have written if she'd been able to, or if that's just my modern perception interfeering with the text.
I mostly agree with you but I don't think it was exactly about getting published but more that we needed to be assured that Fanny Price was safe.
I wrote a long post about Fanny's vulnerability, but to summarize, she is a poor dependant in the Bertram family, her family cannot provide for her, she can't work as a governess because she's not well educated enough, and if Sir Thomas dies, her fate would be in the hands of a very irresponsible Tom. While I think the point of Austen's novel is that a good woman's love can't reform a rake, but after accomplishing that, she can't just leave Fanny as is without the reader being worried. So she moves mountains to fix Mansfield instead.
Tom is reformed so the future is no longer in peril, Sir Thomas completely changes his attitude towards his sons marrying Fanny, Mrs. Norris is permanently banished, and Susan is installed as a new companion to Lady Bertram, all so Fanny can have her happy ending. It's a lot to be dumped on the reader at the end! But I feel like it's not the point at all, the story Austen was interested in telling already finished.
Also, she straight up admits that Edmund doesn't deserve Fanny, so there's that.

Reconsidering what I explained in my last post here about RinHaru's relationship up to season 2, now i feel like I've seen most of the whole picture:
Rin is quite devoted to his relationship with Haru. I mean, their friendship and rivarly.
I noticed that Rin was the one to mostly make the moves, demostrate and say out loud his feelings for Haru (to the point that was kinda obvious and even Sousuke take note of that).
While, in the other hand, Haru...I feel like he's autistic or something.
Haha.
And I'm not saying this in a derogative meaning or with intentions of hurting anyone!! I'm hoping to not be that ignorant for using a term that does not apply here (correct me if that's the case)...but what I'm trying to say is that, actually, this treat of his character is just endearing: he doesn't speak that much, he's always straight-forward, silent and less expressive than others...this treat is one of the reasons why people like him so much, also something I like about him a lot, but to not lose the main topic: I think that's one of the reasons why I felt so one-sided his relationship with Rin.
I noticed that, after having to share much more time with Rin than the past time after their winning at final S1, especially in the movies, Haru was much more expressive both in speech and actions than before. And also, that makes sense!
S1 is him and Rin's conflict, mixed-up with the past-present and the construction of the clubs. This season was quite deppressing, in a way because of so much sour feelings in each character (mostly Rin and Haru) for their complications, so their 'happy side' was touched mostly at the end.
S2 they were focusing on their future and their own problems with the competitions and their respectives groups (alongside with Sousuke's story and Makoto's heavy participation). They were quite far from each other because their interactions were not a neccessity for the plot, and again, their 'happy side' and important interactions were handled mostly at the end.
S3 was heavely about Ikuya and Haru's story (that, at least, 7 episodes), and about their preparation to reach global levels. They were, still, a little much far from each other because their interactions, again, were not needed for the plot at that moment.
So, finally with the movies, the circumstances were the ones where they were going to interact with the other on one way or another. At the end, they were literally competing against each other, in the same group, against the same people (Albert, the other gringer/blond guy which I don't remember his name but was a hard swimmer also). They had quite a lot more meaningful interactions because they were together at the end of the day, participating in the same game...and while it was beautiful, I felt like finally I could see the reciprocity of Haru's feeling for Rin in terms of their relationship.
They were rivals after all, friends that worry for each other, that searched for the other when something bad happened, that supported, admired and inspired the other to be their best. And, something more beautiful, is that they wanted that. Both of them: To be together in that, racing to win. And they did, they won...and even after time passed and they met again in Bulgary...they kept swimming together.
I still feel that Rin is more vigorous when it comes to the relationship, but Haru's side is clearer now and I think I can say that, yes, this was a rivals to friends, meant to be, and they're both into it.
Thanks for reading this, which I consider to be one of the many internal disputes I have when watching two characters I like too much and I also ship them together.

Hello, I am not Jewish, but I grew up in an area with a noticeable population of Jews who, historically, were able to be openly Jewish. I learned from a young age about the horrors that have happened to your people throughout history, and have been disgusted by the rise in more blatant antisemitism that has reared its ugly head in the days and months since October 7th, a day which also horrified and disgusted me. I have also long considered myself to be pro-Israel, seeing the neccessity for Jewish self-determination in this world.
With my background out of the way, I saw one of your posts mentioned things we non-Jews might not notice are antisemitic due to it being part of our culture and what not, and I was hoping you could tell me some of them? I've detested antisemitism for as long as I can remember, so if I've been unintentionally doing anything that fits that, I would like to stop. Thank you and have a nice day.
I want to start by saying that I really appreciate the fact that you’re trying, and that you want to learn to do better in case you’re making any mistakes. I am a firm believer that EVERYONE has blind spots when it comes to how they treat members of minority groups, be it antisemitism, racism, homophobia, or whatever else, and that while intent isn’t all that matters, it matters a lot. While I’m answering your question, I’m going to cover some stuff you may already know based on the background you gave in the hopes that this answer will be useful for other people as well. I hope you don’t mind.
I also want to put a couple caveats on what I’m about to say. The first is that this is not a comprehensive list. It’s just whatever came to mind while I was typing this up. I’m sure I’ve missed things, but hopefully this gives you an idea of the kind of thing I was talking about. If anyone sees this and wants to add additional examples, please do!
The other caveat is that different Jews will have different definitions of what is and is not antisemitic. The big obvious stuff, like people chanting “Gas the Jews,” or accusations that Jews use the blood of Christian children to bake their bread, almost everyone is going to agree that’s antisemitic. The more subtle stuff, which is what we’re going to be talking about here, is more likely to prompt disagreement. For example, last year there was a lot of conversation on Tumblr about how the goblins in the Harry Potter game were an antisemitic caricature. The reaction from Jews I know in real life basically boiled down to, “Yeah, I guess I can see it. I don’t really think it’s that big of a deal though.” So, some of the stuff I mention, other Jews might disagree that it’s antisemitic. And there are some things that I might leave out because I don’t think they’re antisemitic that other Jews think really are antisemitic. That’s OK!
I think that if we’re going to talk about antisemitism that is present in Western culture, then we need to talk about the antisemitism that’s baked into Christianity, and acknowledge that because a lot of Western culture has been heavily influenced by the church, even if a person is not religiously Christian, if they are culturally Western, then Christianity has had a large impact on their culture, and we can say that they are culturally Christian. And if this post gets big, I know that I’m going to get murdered for that statement, but that’s ok, there’s nothing Christians love more than a crucified Jew (THIS IS A JOKE (mostly.)) I don’t know if you’re Christian or not, but I live in the US, and most people here are heavily influenced by Christian thought and philosophy without realizing it, even if they’re not Christian, and these are the people I was talking about when I made the comment that prompted the ask.
So how is antisemitism baked into Christianity? Well, to understand that, we need to understand some of the problems early Christianity had, namely, the fact that the Jews of the time rejected their beliefs and the fact that Rome persecuted early Christians pretty hard. And we also need to talk about Supersessionism.
Early Christians had a major issue with contemporaneous Jews because the Jews rejected their teachings. Like, Jesus and his followers were Jews, and after his death they wanted all other Jews to agree that he was the messiah, even though he didn’t do all the things the Jewish messiah was supposed to do. This is both why Christianity has the second coming (so that he can do those things) and why the New Testament opens with a genealogy linking Jesus to David (the messiah is supposed to be from the line of David), the early Christians were *desperate* for legitimacy in their new religion. And when the rest of the Jewish community rejected it, they got a little mad, and decided that Christians clearly understand Jewish holy texts better than Jews do (up to and including editing said texts to better support their views), something that persists to this day. I have actually seen Christians show up on posts about being Jewish and try to explain to the Jews about how we’re wrong about our own religion. This is absolutely antisemitism, and it does really happen.
The other thing early Christians decided is that the Jews have been presented with the true word of G-d and have rejected it, so they must be evil. This is true of the early Christians, but I also want to stress that almost every major player in the Protestant Reformation absolutely HATED Jews. Luther literally published a treatise entitled “On the Jews and Their Lies”, and some scholars think that there is a direct line between Luther’s hatred of Jews and the formation of the Nazi party. I think Luther was the worst of them, but none of those guys were cool with Jews, so just know that all of the protestant denominations were founded by guys who would kill me if they could.
Because the Jews were now considered evil, the Christians concluded that the covenant G-d had made with the Jews now applied to the Christians. Now, in Christian thought, they were the Chosen People, and the Jews were no longer so blessed. This is the premise behind supersessionism, and it basically posits that Christians have replaced Jews as the true people of Israel, and it was embraced by many of the men who shaped what Christianity is today, in virtually every denomination of Christianity that exists.
The early Christians dealt with their Roman persecution problem by allying themselves with the Romans. One might think that this would be difficult, as the Romans are very much the bad guys in the new testament. Like, the guys who arrested Jesus were Roman, and following Rome’s orders, Pilate was Roman, and the men who put Jesus on the cross were Roman. So how could Christianity ally with the people who killed Jesus? Well, it’s simple, they were already mad at the Jews for rejecting their new religion, so they would claim that all of that was the Jews’ fault so the Romans could be allied with for political power. And Rome didn’t like the Jews anyway, so they loved it when the Christians threw the Jews under the bus.
So, a lot of cultural antisemitism has its basis here, with this idea that Jews are not like the rest of us, they’re somehow worse (“the rest of us” meaning people in Christian cultures). And while a lot of it has turned into more overt antisemitism (“Jews killed Jesus,” Jews kill Christian children for their blood to make bread/matzoh, Jews control money/media/government). But this also turns into things like sermons about the evils of the Pharisees or praising Jesus for the cleansing of the Temple. How is that antisemitic? Well, the Pharisees are the fathers of modern Judaism, so if their evil, then the modern version of our religion is based on the thoughts of evil men. Jesus’s cleansing of the Temple was, from a Jewish perspective, a story about a man deciding that the systems that Jews established to make worship easier should be taken away. Praising that is praising the disruption of Jewish worship.
And on the other end of things, we have people (mostly Christians, but some not), who are in love with the idea of Jews, but not actual Jews. In non-Christians, this looks like people with the opinion “Christians suck, but the Jews are cool.” As an example, I had a guy show up on one of my posts to let me know that he used to hold Jews in high regard because he thought our culture would make us immune from nationalism and far-right ideologies. He was so disappointed in us when we behaved just like other groups of human beings. And while he said that he had thought well of us, he still thought of us as being not like other human cultures – that’s antisemitic. And being mad at us for acting like other humans? That’s antisemitic too.
In Christians, it usually looks like people saying “We love Jews, Jesus was a Jew!” This implies that the only reason to love Jews is because of a relation to a deity we don’t believe in. It ignores real, live Jews in favor of people who if real, have been dead for 2000 years, and makes it seem like our only value is that you like one guy from a very different version of our culture (modern Judaism is VERY different than what Jews contemporary with Jesus would have practiced). These people are also the ones who are most likely to try to connect with Judaism through cultural appropriation. The most common example of this is churches that hold a “Passover Seder.” Judaism is a mostly closed religion, and our holidays are not for other people to play dress up. Like, imagine if a church in the US said it was going to do a Native American ceremony with no Native American input, and you have an idea of the level of cultural appropriation. And people would rightly call that out as not ok, but churches do this all the time. The excuse that they use is that the last supper was a Seder, but while that may be true, the modern seder, which is what most churches try to do, is not how Jesus would have celebrated in the time of the Temple. So, their reasoning doesn’t hold much water, Jews tend to be pretty clear that it’s not ok as far as we’re concerned, so this behavior is very problematic.
Moving on from Christianity, there’s also stuff that has been around so long we’ve forgotten their antisemitic origins. I mentioned goblins at the start of this, but did you know that witches are also based on antisemitic stereotypes? The green skin, the big nose, the hat which matches hats Jews were required to wear in parts of medieval Europe, the magic received from a deal with the devil – these are all heavily based on antisemitic caricatures of Jews. And while I don’t think witches by themselves are antisemitic, if you start pairing them with other antisemitic things it gets bad fast. Like, a witch is not antisemitic, and a person kidnapping children is not antisemitic, but a witch kidnapping children is raising some serious red flags. And a cabal (the word cabal is derived from Kabbalah, which is a Jewish practice, and its use is ALSO antisemitic) of witches doing so is a big freaking problem.
Or we could talk about Charles Dickens. His works are considered classics, and are often required reading in school. But Fagin in Oliver Twist is a walking antisemitic Jewish stereotype, and that’s never called out in lesson plans. So to people who have never met a Jew, but have read this classic of English literature, Fagin is what they think of when they think Jews. For the classes with one Jewish kid – how do you think it feels to have everyone in class be like, “Oh you’re Jewish, just like Fagin the bad guy!” Of note, Dickens did write a much less antisemitic Jewish character in a later novel, Our Mutual Friend, but of these two, which one gets taught?
I also want to talk about institutional antisemitism. This is similar to the idea of institutional racism, if you’re familiar with that concept – the idea that racism has worked its way into how our very society is structured, so even if you try very hard to be anti-racist, the society you live in is designed to make life harder for POC. Institutional antisemitism is the same thing, except the system is rigged against Jews instead.
We’ll start with one that Jews and Blacks have in common – redlining. It’s the practice of not allowing people (mostly Black people, but also other POC) to buy houses in certain areas. Usually this was done by banks not giving mortgages to people, but there are also homes where it’s in the deed to the house, or in the by laws of the local HOA that you’re not allowed to sell to Black people. It turns out that some houses/HOAs also have “no Jews allowed” rules as well. And it’s super subtle – is a neighborhood Jew free because we’re an incredibly small portion of the population and just so happen to not live there? Or are they legally barred from living there? It can be hard to tell without doing some significant digging. My synagogue actually had a booth at our Purim carnival last year so that we could see if our neighborhood still had anti-Black housing laws so we could work on getting them changed if so. Solidarity.
There’s also probably some institutional antisemitism in your workplace. There sure as heck is in mine, and the last time I brought it up I was told that I could find work elsewhere if I had an issue with company policy. One of the more common ones it that many jobs that require work on Sundays give a higher rate of pay for that day. The historical reason for that is because Sunday is the Sabbath, and if your company is going to force you to work on the holy day, then they’re going to value that time more highly (my company does an extra dollar an hour for Sunday hours.) But Sunday isn’t the Sabbath for Jews, and when I asked if I could be compensated for my time on MY day of rest, well, see above for the answer I got.
You can also look at the holiday situation. My company is open 357 days a year. Of the 8 days we are closed, one is for Christmas, one is for Easter and one is for New Years on the Christian calendar (It’s the Gregorian calendar after POPE Gregory). Most people don’t work Sundays, so there’s no pay for Easter, but Christmas and New Years are both paid holidays. But the Jewish New Year, which is a religious holiday, is not. Nor are any other Jewish holidays. And we have a lot, and many of them require that you not work if you’re religiously observant. Enough that most people would have to spend their entire allotment of PTO for the year, just to have off for religious observance. You could argue that Christmas and New Years and Easter are federal holidays, except Easter isn’t, and also at my company we aren’t given off for all federal holidays (we’re open for president’s day and MLK day and so on), so you actually kinda do have to defend why these made the cut. Also I’m still waiting for the reason why a Christian holiday is also a Federal holiday in a country that supposedly values the separation of Church and State.
Jews also feel this at school. In college I had a professor schedule a midterm on Yom Kippur – the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, and a holiday that is observed, in part, by not consuming any food or water for 25 hours. I asked if I could take the test on a different day, and my request was denied. I’m sure my school probably had someone I could have talked to about this but I didn’t know that at the time, so I felt like my options were come in to class on a holiday or take a 0% and screw over my grade for the semester. I chose to celebrate as best I could, and duck out of services for an hour and a half to take the test. The professor (in what I’m sure he thought was an act of kindness) had brought several barrels of apples, so that we could each have a snack while we tested. I almost committed murder that day (what, my blood sugar was low enough to be non-existent at that point and I was feeling pretty cranky). And like, I don’t think the professor was trying to be antisemitic. He was trying to be fair by making us all test at the same time, and kind by bringing us a snack. But in effect, he made life much harder for the one Jewish student in his class by refusing an easy accommodation.
And is not being accommodating to Jews antisemitic? Yeah, kinda? It sure feels that way when it seems like your only options are 1) things are shitty because people won’t accommodate you, 2) you have to work extra hard to figure out how to accommodate yourself, or 3) you can stop being Jewish and then everything suddenly is so much easier. Another really common example of this is getting invited to a party, and then none of the food is kosher. Your options are 1) go hungry, 2) bring enough food that’s kosher for yourself and everyone else (otherwise they might eat the kosher stuff and you’re back to 1), or 3) the problem goes away when you stop keeping kosher. And the reason I feel this is antisemitic is that the host is making the space unwelcoming to Jews – you can come, but you’re not gonna like it, so you might as well not come.
The last thing I want to talk about is treating Jews as white. A person might think that this is a good thing, like it’s granting us access to white privilege, but in reality it’s ignoring our needs as a minority. Claiming that Jews are white ignores that some Ashkenazi and many non-Ashkenazi Jews are definitely not even close to white, and it downplays the real discrimination Jews face. Studies have proven that it’s harder to get hired with a Jewish sounding name, and an article recently came out that said the prosecution was deliberately excluding Jews from juries (this is illegal discrimination) because they were less likely to give the death penalty, as examples. And even for white-passing Jews, the Shoah was very much about how Jews were not white. That was a pretty significant part of the Nazi ideology.
And this becomes an even bigger problem when the people who should want to be allies – other minorities and their white allies deny us the ability to seek help from them. When we talk about the discrimination that we face, we’re very frequently ignored, or told that we’re white and that we don’t know what it’s really like. This is what the left is doing right now when it calls us “oppressors” or “colonizers” – it’s denying our history of being oppressed and our history of being colonized because some of us look like we came from Europe.
Anyway, if you’re still here (I know this is VERY long), I hope this was helpful in understanding some of the ways that antisemitism can be present in small things, from church sermons to pay rates to fairy tales. And I want to be clear, I’d much rather deal with the antisemitic implications of Hansel and Gretel than deal with people chanting “Jews will not replace us.” But in an ideal world, I wouldn’t have to deal with either.

🌎 for Cyril! (Humanity)
🌎 Do they try to retain any part of their humanity?
so i think this is a bit more complex than it needs to be owing to cyril leaving the sabbat and joining the camarilla, as well as there not being any path rules in v5 (oops) but i think that, in the past it would have been a taboo for him to be retaining his humanity in the sabbat and had gone through 'trials' to strip that from him...
since he was still kind of public-facing though he would have wanted to keep a hold of it to some extent, just so he could talk to normal humans without instantly scaring them off
since his move to america/the camarilla though he's managed to regain a certain amount mostly out of neccessity and he is pretty alright with having it be that way, he thinks succumbing to the beast is a little bit cringe and does try not to do that....
but all of this is to say that he's still a very not good person but the likelihood of him wanting to go all out and just start frenzying for the fun of it is very low, and that this is all emotional/mental and once he gets the chance to physically turn into a lizard he is doing that

I opened a post in rednote where an American user asked Chinese users to weigh in on what they think the worst american trends are and it’s scrolls and scrolls of this basically
Tumblr media
They don’t like the kartrashcan/instabaddie vibe at all. Love that. I also found this interesting
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(First user says ‘sisters’ because most users are women, which also makes this place a vibe)
And then this stopped me in my tracks. I thought it was so interesting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For whatever reason i remembered when wosney lambre was commemorating Michael brooks, and he said that he was talking about how he (wos) was telling michael that he had been getting really into tah nahesi cotes (or however you spell it), at the time, how it was mostly just hating on white people but it was really cathartic or whatever. And he said Michael was like yeah it’s funny and it’s insightful but there’s not a politics in that. That shook me to my core: “there’s not a politics in that” and we’ve really been convinced that there is. And is a little mermaid reboot with a black little mermaid just a way to drum up racial tension? Is that too conspiratorial? What i loved about that dumbass debacle was that nobody was pressed that Ursula was still white. The notion that disney princess representation is a neccessity of girlhood is silly. “Conceit and confusion will destroy america; ordinary people should stand together” stopped me dead in my tracks because YES bitch. I do feel like while gen z embraces black culture on the whole, racial tensions are still very high despite lots of attempts to hash it out in popular culture, has the emphasis on the issue only made it worse? What is so difficult is that class is racialized, so aligning solely on class becomes difficult. The ruling class has done a number on us while operating from their own class solidarity. Because their class solidarity is tied to protecting their wealth, and they love the class they’re in. Nobody loves and wants to protect their status as a poor person, so the driving factor in poor and working class solidarity must be protecting each other, as a first step to extracting wealth back from the ruling class. This doesn’t incentivize enough people, we’d rather sell each other out.

Took me forever to finish but this is Paz!! She got way taller than I intended but whatever I love her sm
Paz is an artist who recently moved to the city where the rest of the squad lives (well, kinda -- Soleil lives outside the city) and tries her best to make a living out of her passion.
She's not very good at making connections, but she tries her best. Mostly out of neccessity, she needs clients to make a living after all. But also because she wants some friends in her new home, obviously.
Paz does prefer the quiet countryside, but the city just has more opportunities for her.
Originally I was gonna have her covered in paint, but I think she'd want to make a good first impression on people she meets and therefore make sure to always look her best when she goes out.
So instead, to make her outfit more interesting, I added the flowers!

How many partners have the main 7 had?
Bro, I can't see any of them as having a lot of partners, or even 2, they all single as feck. Besides Zoe of course, I can't tell the exact number, but it's pretty high, especially compared to the rest of them xd. The best I can do is to give those who had canon crushes them as partners. So it would be Pepper and Captain Cuddles (hey, I genuinely think they cute), Sunil and Deliah (I actually kinda like the though of them being a couple at some point at some point), and heck, maybe even Penny Ling and Mr. VonFuzzlebut. They can all be exs, or end up with them forever uuuu, who knows. Maybe Sunil would have more? I said that he's actually pretty objectively attractive, so I can definitely see him being kinda "in demand", maybe once or twice he was in some different relationship, either he genuinely was willing to at least try, or didn't want to be rude and simply accepted (and then regretted it of course). Maybe Russell and Blythe were at some point together? They tried to see if they would work together but at the end decided that they would rather stay as friends. That's just a maybe though, could have happened, haven't had to.
Minka, I really don't think she'd be that interested in romatic relationship to frantically look for it. Friends? Hell yeah. Romatic partners on the other hand? She'd rather wait for "the right one" instead of putting so much effort into something that might not last in the same way. Besides, if she's to find that partner, she'd rather find them naturally within her friends, whom she already knows and has a connection with.
Penny Ling had her crushes, but most of the time she was too shy to try anything and they simply passed with time.
Vinnie is waay too loyal to one person to even try anything else than that one person. And listen, he's just not all that attractive as a romantic partner. Personality is one thing, but he's just kinda ugly. I know I know, I love him and he's the prettiest boy for me! But he's also my damn self-projection, so in universe, he's not exactly the epitome of objective attraction. He's short, so pale he looks almost sickly, bones-showing underweight, some people don't like freckles (fucking weird people, gottem). In other words, he's perfect, to me, but objectively he's just not because I need him like that. Oh, but he's suuch a pretty boiii.
But, the one though that I have is that if Penny Ling and him ended up as the last ones out of their group being single with their crushes being already taken, they would get together. Just this sort of situation that since everyone else has someone, and they just feel like such outsiders because of that, out of this "neccessity" they get together. They don't love each other like that, they simply don't want to be the weird two out, so they might as well. They like each other enough to do it, that's for sure. In some way, they do it out of spite, to show their actual crushes (who may or may not know that they feel this way) that they can do perfectly well without them (they can't and are going crazy).
As you can see I don't have anything certain, so this is mostly a jumble of my thoughts and scenarios that might or might not have happened.

[ @kiidreamu asked: " You seem to be quite popular today /my dear/. Are you enjoying all of the attention you're getting? " [Refi @ Lalnable] ]
Tumblr media
“About time you showed yourself. ” Lalnable mutters, voice full of disdain and annoyance. Here she was again. Reficul, The Undying God-once more scurrying into his life like a rat, and bringing the plague of the ever-present conflict of ‘Man VS God’ with it... even if Lalnable does not truly consider his own humanity anymore.
Contradictions abound as always, he pinches the bridge of his nose with an aggravated sigh. Reficul was always in his life, appearing like some kind of ever-present rash, always at the worst and most annoying times, with no clear way of getting rid of for good. Though he has sworn to himself - none shall stand above him and look down, never again shall he follow the rules or whims of another-
She, too, refuses to follow any kind of rules. If she were anyone else, he would respect that about her... Such a pity, then, that the rest of her is...well... her.
Regardless, a smile slowly forms upon his features.
Tumblr media
“Well, do go on. What is it you’ve come to pester me about today?” He says with an almost- too cheerful, too cordial - too peaceful tone to his voice. “I’m assuming all of this...this...” He waves his hands to make a vague ‘everything’ gesture as he continued, “ this attention... is your doing? Most everything else tends to be, after all.”
There was nothing he could really do about her. Immortal God that she was, he simply had to put up with her for now. But one day...one day...he would surely find a way to kill her for good.  The word ‘impossible’ had long since lost it’s meaning to him - the man that rejected all that had been laid before him as he forged his own warpath through life.

hello!! i really love your blog, it's calming, motivating and VERY helpful and mostly: relatable. i realised we do share some similar study habits and i wanted to drop by to say smth. [long passage incoming !] ive just started my first uni year, and it's going fine so far. despite the sudden change to busy schedules, im able to live through it and change my routines according to my new life. there's this thing, i am very very active on texting apps and i tend to reply to doubts/questions fast. i dont know if it's that but people really do love coming to me for any queries related to assignments/syllabus. which i appreciate a lot because i like seeing people see me as a helper and seek for me. and me being me, i sometimes turn down my work to explain others because i dont wanna leave people unattended and waiting. until it gets too much and i feel socially tired. i somehow manage to avoid the neccessity to be available to everyone to have my own time but im not able to do so without feeling guilty. is there any way i can assure myself that i dont need to be available 247 and answer everything asap. even though i love helping anyone who come to me, i still feel like i should have my own time to actually do my work/have my time. thank you for reading thiss <3 hope you had a good day!!
Awwww I appreciate the lovely message! Thank you! And yes there is something you can do! I used to be EXACTLY like that. Anytime I had a notification I had to check it and respond IMMEDIATELY. It was really bad and my OCD latched onto it too.
What I had to do was slowly increase the time I spent not responding. I started out waiting 5 minutes. Agony. Once I was ok with that, I increased to 10, 12, 15, so on. It took me a while, but I realized that for the most part, people are ok with a late response. I used to supplement the time spent absent with an apology, but I know I don't mind when someone doesn't respond to me right away and most people are the same. Now, I can keep my phone away from me for an hour unchecked and not feel guilty.
It takes time and it's hard, but over time, you'll be able to do it. Just go baby steps. No big leaps or anything. And you're gonna feel guilty and apologize and that's ok! But your worth is not tied up in your availability to help people at all.

The Dead Layds club and why Lyanna is a bad example
@joannalannister Some may be aware of the dead ladys club in asoiaf, if not: https://joannalannister.tumblr.com/post/162408885186/the-dead-ladies-club
and a lot about that is true, that is important, it isn’t that I don’t agree with the post, a lot of it is absolulty true.
But reading it I noticed that Lyanna is always (not just by https://joannalannister.tumblr.com/ mentioned first) and that just makes no sense to me. Honestly I’d put the unnamed princess of Dorne first, because all the other Ladys have at least something and she doesn’t even get a name.
But on Lyanna Stark:
The only POV that actually knew Lyanna we have is Ned Stark. There are other people alive who knew her, but not like her own brother and we don’t get POVs of course.
And Ned does not like to talk or even think about his family members, understandable it causes him pain to think of them. But from all his dead family members Lyanna is actually the one we know the most of in terms of personalitly. There are 2 dead women and 2 dead men in his family and Lyanna Stark is the one we actually have knowledge about her character from her brother. To cover the other first: Ned does not talk about his mother, she is dead and that is it. (good fit for the dead ladys club, even if I think that there is no neccessity for her to get more pages). She died sometime between Benjens birth and the War of the 5 Kings, the exact moment isn’t known, but considering that Ned’s children and Cat don’t know her I’d say she died before Cat and Neds wedding 283AC (so Ned would’ve been just 20 years old, too young to loose both parents without it leaving deep wounds). And information about her is purely context information. Then there is Rickard Stark. We know his story (prelude to Roberts Rebellion) but the only character information we have can be based on his reaction to his dauhter getting abducted and his son imprisoned which was ...normal? Like what are supposed to do but go and get them back, that does say he cares like a normal person about his family (considering the Starks in general are one of the more functioning familys in Westeros not something surprising). Then we have Brandon Stark. Who we have 2 POVs about, counting Cat who actually knew him in. Who we actually have some information on. Because Ned talks about him and Lyanna to Arya, mostly it not being a good idea to be so hot-blooded and having wolf-.blood (which Ned considers the thing that led to their early graves, hey Ned isn’t perfect when it comes to sexism either ok). We know about his looks from Cat and Barbrey and about his personatlity aswell, a lot of it actually coming from Barbrey who isn’t even a POV character. And what we know isn’t that positiv, which I take part of his wolf-blood personality trait. (See fucking Barbrey, demanding the head of the crown prince.) The postiv things we know about him are the typical Stark traits about making things fair, right and honest, something at core all Starks share (making the fight against Littlefinger fair, offering him to yield, going to save his sister): But most of the information we have on him are from 1.Background information about what happend (Lyanna, his death, etc.), so just the storytelling. 2.From Cat who knew him for w short while. 3. From Barbrey who hooked up with him and was in love with him (still is). We nearly get nothing from Ned about him. Because Ned doesn’t like to think about his dead family members, he remarks that he wanted none of what he has (Cat, Winterfell, Hand of the King, Brother in Law of the King) because he never wanted his brother dead of course. And lastly Lyanna: Lyanna is the dead family member Ned thinks about the most. Which is why we have the most information about her from all his dead family members. He’s the only POV who actually knew her and we get so much more from him about her than about his brother, father of mother. She is in his mind so often, probably because she is his little sister and he was there when she died. People who didn’t know her always talk about her beauty (especially Robert). But those who knew her always mention that she was wild, she is often described to have a resemblance to Arya in character, more rebellious. Ned states that if Lyanna had been allowed to carry a sword she’d have done it,she had a strong will, that she was beautiful but “he had “iron underneath” and it’s multiple times stated that she loved to ride (getting called half a horse herlsef and a centaur) Lyanna knew that Robert was whoring around and didn’t like it, said to and even told Ned that he wasn’t going to change, she attacked men with touney swords when they bullied Howland Reed and is believed to be the Mystery Knight, who deafead the exact 3 men who bullied Howland. We have no knowledge if she knew Howland before that attack, but she defended him because he was her fathers man and she tended to his wounds later. She was a caring person with a strong sense of right and wrong and had no issue opening her mouth about it. She poured wine of Benjens head when he made for of her for crying about the sad song that was being played. She loved flowers and music.
And we needed none of those things for the canon that is currently infolding. Lyanna could’ve been the perfect little lady Robert imagined and it would not have changed a thing of the plot that is happening right now. But she wasn’t. Like both her nieces she wasn’t a picture perfect lady the men wanted her to be and we know that from context. And yes she died. She was 16, she got a fever, she (we all know it, even if it’s not in the books yet) gave birth way to young. And yes 16 is too young, even at 16 the body is still developing and not properly equipped to handle childbrith yet. Having children too young is one of the major reasons women die in childbrith in our world. And in her death she sill made Ned promise her something (Jon’s savety), she was strong, maybe her body did give out because she got pregnant at 15 from a man which a family history of stillbirths due to incest and was barely 16 when she gave birth but it doesn’t make her a lesser chacaters. JoannaLannister also mentied that we don’t know what Lyanna felt about what happend from getting the crown of beauty and love to her death and we can’t know that. Because everybody involed is dead. There aren’t any people to ask. The Kings guard members that were involved are dead (Jamie wasn’t there, we have no knowledge abour Barristan being involed), Rhegar is dead (and might not be the best guy to ask anyways) and Lyanna the only person who actually knew what she was thinking is definitly dead. If we know more about the events we’d know too much (aka Jon Snows parentage) for the story to unfold and we don’t have any POVs so far that could give us any insight whatsoever anyways.
Long Story short. I don’t think Lyanna should be part of the Dead Ladys Club, because we have 1 POV character who actually knew her (and in general doesn’t like to think about his dead family members) and we have so much information about her that isn’t just plot related, which is a really gread thing and makes her a well fleshed out character for someone who’s been dead for 14 years at the beginning of the story.

While she and Lumine had decided to stop by Liyue Harbor for a supply run, before moving to Mondstadt for the upcoming Windblume, Paimon decided to split task.
She had took it upon herself to focus on the general goods store.
Tumblr media
Today's deals seems surprisingly tempting, cheaper even, then they usually are. She really did show up at a good time, this would mean more Mora savings.
Crouched down to pick a few neccessities, mostly cooking ingredients only found on this stall, its not long before the pixie hears someone calling out to her.
''Hm?''.
At first, she did not process who it was, up until galaxy hued eyes took sight on Gaming.
''Oh!, Gaming!'', yeah, it definitely has been a while, ever since the last year Lantern Rite actually.
Standing up straight, raw fish in hand, Paimon turns to face the other proper.
''Good to see you'', this much she means it.

political party action
Republican: This party believes that the new president must restore the trust in civil law enforcement and civil order. And they believe all the men and women in our law enforcement deserve our support. They support the death penalty and minimum sentencing. And state they support the rehabilitation of victims of prosecutions and their families after they get out of jail.
agree or disagree: I do agree with parts of their position. I think law enforcement is necessary, because without it there would be more crime. I do not support de-funding the police, but they need to participate in a lot more training and every single police man or women who has taken part in police brutality must be held accountable. As well as the murderers of innocent black people, those police officers must be incarcerated. But they do not address the way the criminal justice system is failing for the minorities. Which is something a lot of Republicans believe is not true.
Democrat: This party states how the current justice system is failing to keep communities safe, as well as failing to restore justice. And say that our system criminalizes poverty, over policed and under served black and latino communities. Police brutality is also a large issue, all against black people. And must hold every police man or women accountable. And this party believes were need to completely reform our criminal justice system. Democrats also believe we must break the school-to-prison pipeline that too often relies on arrests and law enforcement to address misbehavior that ought to be handled and deescalated within the school.
agree or disagree: I do agree with this parties position, although not the de-funding the police. I do believe that all the police men and women need to be held accountable. And I agree with this party that the system is failing, and is currently riddles with systematic racism.
Libertarian: This party believes government force must be limited to the protection of the rights of individuals to life, liberty, and property, and governments must never be permitted to violate these rights. Laws should be limited in their application to violations of the rights of others through force or fraud, or to deliberate actions that place others involuntarily at significant risk of harm. And they support the rehabilitation of the victims and their families after incarceration.
agree or disagree: I agree with this party’s position on how it is an absolute neccessity for the government to support the victims and their families after they have been encarcerated.
Green: This party states that their position on political justice reformation is to reduce the prison population, invest in rehabilitation, and end the failed war on drugs. The Green party believes the prisons are over crowded and their are too many negative effect of imprisonment. And they support alternatives for incarceration.
agree or disagree: There was not much on criminal justice reformation in this party’s platform. But I agree with the fact that there are too many people in prison, which results in overcrowding. They didn’t really support encarceration much at all, but I think those who deserved to be locked up, just be locked up for the rest of their lives. Such as rapists and murderers.
Peace and Freedom: This party states Capitalism and poverty breed crime and repression. Working class people are the primary victims both of street crime and of police reaction to it. The bosses use laws against victimless activities, "legal" and illegal expansion of police powers, military and paramilitary occupation of poor and minority communities, and diversion of resources to police and jails, to keep workers intimidated and dependent.
agree or disagree: I agree with this party when they agree that police are abusing their power.
REFLECTION: I mostly agree with the democratic party, but when it comes to de-funding the police, I do not. I like the fact that they addressed systematic racism, and police brutality, and need to completely change our justice system. I would definitley vote for Biden if I were old enough.
DEBATE: My issue was a big topic during the debate. Trump kept on saying how law enforcement is neccesary, and police men and women all deserve our support. While accusing Biden of wanting to defund the police, Biden stated that it was not true. Biden has a very moderate view on this issue. He believes the police men and women do need to go through more training and harsher background checks. He does not support defunding them, he even says “Most of the police men and women are good people. But there are a few bad apple, and those officers must be held accountable”.
