Grizzco Research Department: Promo Post*
*Our PR guy said that we should probably promote our service, especially this blog, so please help us reach as many Grizzco employees as possible!
Since it’s inception, the Grizzco Research Department has aimed to provide all employees with the help they need to get through Salmon Run shifts with only minimal damage done to their person. As a result, we have begun multiple outreach programs, including:
95% of all Grizzco Research Department tips come paired with a helpful, informational video!**
Plans are in place for Special Weapon, Grizzco Weapon, and Boss guides as well!
**We are planning on increasing this number to 100% in the near future.
Our crew is highly trained and totally trustworthy! Mr. Grizz gave us an office and one whole computer! We’re trying our best!
Kiera: local sleepy octoling who sometimes appears to give us knowledge on weapons that go slow (chargers and splatlings). A part-timer in the office.
Katie: a full-time tip-writer and artist behind all department materials. She knows a lot about dualies and short-range shooters. A co-manager in the office.
Ashe: a full-time tip-writer, the guide writer, general knowledge-haver, and idea manager. Knows a lot about all weapons, but only really enjoys roller class, octobrush, and short range shooters. A co-manager in the office. With Katie, she does most of the grunt work on the blog.
Dan: perpetually stuck in tech support, IT squid, he’s who we test these tips on, trying his best, likes the sploosh-o-matic, local twitch streamer. A part-timer in the office.
Fluffernutter: smallfry, hits things with spoon, likes Dan more than Dan likes him
We absolutely would not steer you wrong! Join the Grizzco ranks with the confidence that we have your back! Follow today! What’s the worst that could happen?

Coolest New Ice Creams in New York
Ample Hills, Morgenstern’s, Van Leeuwen and Blue Marble have as much name recognition as Haagen Daaz in New York.  And the following dessert destinations are positioned to join the local ice cream pantheon, from La Newyorkina and its traditional Mexican helado to Taiyaki, and its fish-shaped Japanese waffle cones.
La Newyorkina
14 W 19th St West Village,NY 10010
(212) 243-6844
Long known as the queen of paletas (Mexican popsicles), Fany Gerson expanded into helado (ice cream) at her West Village brick-and-mortar this past fall. And it’s finally prime season to taste gelato-like scoops made with Oaxacan chocolate, horchata, tres leches, and vanilla beans from Veracruz, spun in a traditional metal cylinder called a garaffa, and topped with beyond-sprinkles additions such as spicy candied mango, puffed amaranth, goats milk caramel, and cherry hibiscus compote.

DO
550 LaGuardia Pl Greenwich Village,New York 10012
(646) 892-3600
Not only will you find pints of straight-up, unbaked cookie dough (meant for transitioning from container to mouth), the childhood guilty pleasure is incorporated into all matter of frozen dairy treats, including ice cream sundaes (gobbed with batter like Fluffernutter, Snickerdoodle, or Oatmeal M&M), ice cream sandwiches (organic Blue Marble Cookie DŌ ice cream, stacked between squares of their signature chocolate chip dough) and ice cream shakes; essentially a pulverized mish-mash of either of the above.

Mr. Dips
111 N 12th St Williamsburg,New York 11249
No Phone
Andrew Carmellini is having a high time slumming it at his William Vale-located Mr. Dips — a refurbished airstream trailer parked on the hotel’s mezzanine.  Instead of composed chef fare, you’ll find smashed burgers, waffle fries, and most notably, “Dairy Dip” ice cream cones coated with flavored Magic Shell, and dubbed “Berry Gibbs” (boozy strawberries with vanilla wafers and whipped cream), or Jacker-Crax (buttered caramel popcorn and a scattering of toasted peanuts).

Soft Swerve
85B Allen St Lower East Side,New York 10002
(646) 476-6311
Your average Mr. Softee it ain’t.  Instead of standard-issue chocolate and vanilla, the base flavors here are Asian-inspired, including Macapuno Coconut, Matcha Green Tea, Black Sesame and Ube Purple Yam.  And you can take your swirls to the next level in one of the Swerve Special Sundaes, such as “Brooklyn Bridge” (black sesame with toffee, mochi and caramel), “Mott & Mulberry” (matcha with oreos and chocolate sauce) and “Broadway” — purple yam with marshmallows and Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Tipsy Scoop
217 E 26th St Flatiron District,New York 10010
(917) 388-2862
Build up a sweet buzz at New York’s first ice cream “barlour,” serving liquor-infused concoctions inspired by classic cocktails.  Think Hot Buttered Rum, Red Velvet Martini, Tequila Mexican Hot Chocolate and Strawberry White Sangria Sorbet.  We’ll raise a cup (or cone) to that!

Dulcinea Churros
90 Kent Ave Williamsburg,New York 11211
(718) 928-6603
This food market favorite recently landed in Smorgasburg with an especially appealing play on their sugar-dusted Spanish pastries.  We’re talking churro ice cream sandwiches — deep-fried donut discs, pressed around almond milk, horchata or even unicorn ice cream, and finished with gobs of Nutella or dulce de leche.

10 Below
10 Mott St Chinatown,New York 10013
(212) 965-1336
While numerous imitators have jumped on board, 10 Below was the first spot to popularize Thai-style ice cream rolls in New York — utilizing a -10F cold plate to instantly freeze liquid crème anglaise, which is scraped into ice crystal-free rolls and assembled into Black Rose Waffle Tacos, or sundaes like “S’mores Galore,” “Key Lime Pie,” “Mint Chocolate Madness” or “Get Avo-Control;” finished with fresh avocado chunks and Himalayan sea salt.

Taiyaki
119 Baxter St Chinatown,New York 10013
(212) 966-2882
Asia is obviously leading the way in ice cream innovation, and the Japanese-influenced Taiyaki has swum to the front of the pack — by specializing in fish-shaped waffle cones; their gaping mouths crammed with vanilla, chocolate, black sesame or matcha ice cream, custard or red bean paste, condensed milk, strawberry or caramel drizzle, and toppings like mochi, cotton candy sprinkles, chocolate powder or graham cracker crumbs.

By Alice Hey, future leaders and law-makers! 🏡📚✨ Did you know that the U.S. government is like a giant, super-complicated board game—kind of like Monopoly, but instead of buying hotels, you’re making laws that affect millions of people!—except instead of playing for fun, they’re making the rules that shape our world?! The Great Spicy Ramen Quest: A Fluffy Tale of Fiery Noodles
By Mr. Fluffernutter Not all quests begin with a treasure map or a riddle whispered by an ancient sage. Some begin with a single, fearsome noodle packet. It happened on an otherwise peaceful afternoon. The air was calm, the kitchen smelled of warm toast, and I, Mr. Fluffernutter, was nestled on Alice’s shoulder, pondering the finer mysteries of snack time. Then, it arrived. A red packet,…

Stop HB445: Fluffernutter’s Furious Fable of Faith, Family, and Healing
By Mr. Fluffernutter Stop HB445—that’s the rallying cry from one fluffy hero, two brave girls, and families who believe healing comes before politics. This is Mr. Fluffernutter, reporting from the cotton-lined comfort of Alice’s backpack—where, I must confess, the emotional temperature has skyrocketed to “boiling bunny.” Why, you ask? Because a certain group of lawmakers in Alabama (who clearly…

🐰🎓 Alice’s Pre-K Graduation Day: A Fluffernutter-Sized Celebration! 🎓🐰
Blog post by Alice (and her bunny bestie, Mr. Fluffernutter!) Something funny happened inside my tummy today—it felt like butterflies wearing tutus were doing the cha-cha! So while Daddy Ryan made me breakfast, I opened my tablet and painted a picture of The Royal Fluffernutter Forest. It had mushroom trampolines, a jellyfish parade, and a rainbow volcano that only sings lullabies. I was so…

Understanding DNA: God’s Blueprint for Life
By Ariel “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” —Psalm 139:14 Hello, friends! It’s Ariel again, and today we did something in homeschool that started with a big surprise. When Mommy unboxed the DNA model kit and held up the twisty double helix, I gasped. It looked like a curly straw made of jellybeans and math! The colors…

Fun Physics Experiments for Kids in Topsy-Turvy Town
By Alice Everything started when Fluffernutter built a banana-powered rocket cart. Yes, a rocket cart. With bananas. Alice and Ariel found him zipping around the backyard at turbo speed, yelling, “FORCES AND MOTION, BABY!” (He really liked shouting that part.) “What are you doing?!” Alice giggled as Fluffernutter zoomed past, wearing swimming goggles and trailing rainbow streamers from his…
