do not condition your imagination. do not think as if you NEED to imagine for a certain amount of time in order ”to manifest” your desires. your imagination should be a place of freedom where you can go there whenever you like. it is there when you just need a sense of peace in KNOWING that you already have your desires. treat your imagination and your desires as if it is your bed. if you spend a night at someone else’s house, sleeping on another bed, will you be worried that just because you didn’t sleep on your bed that it will go away? noo!! ofc not! that is because you KNOW that your bed is still there when you go back to your house. the same applies to your imagination and your desires too. do not force yourself to imagine because you think that your desires will go away. your desires are still there, your dream life still exists. imagination should be fun, your place of freedom. so do not condition imagination, enjoy it. when neville talks about FEELING, he means the feeling of KNOWING that you already have what you want :)

nervous system regulation.
this post is especially dedicated for my fellow neurodivergents, specifically those who have add/adhd.
it’s normal for all of us to feel stressed sometimes. stress, as well as anxiety, are both feelings we all experience from time to time. however, dealing with a lot of stress is proven to have a negative impact on your body, more specifically your (autonomic) nervous system. by understanding how to regulate your nervous system, you will have an easier time managing stressful moments, and overall live a lot more balanced and peaceful life. ⋮ © credits
the nervous system.
your nervous system is the control center of your body. it is the part of your body that’s responsible for regulating your breathing, your heartbeat, your blood pressure, your digestion, and also the way you feel. the part of your nervous system that deals with the emotional wellbeing of yours is called "autonomic nervous system".
when feeling stressed, your body naturally reacts in a way to prepare you for the situation. it could respond through an increased heart rate, sweaty palms or the tension of muscles. nevertheless, our bodies cannot constantly withstand stress. continuously experiencing high levels of cortisol and adrenaline can lead to (sometimes serious) health issues.
a dysregulated nervous system.
a nervous system becomes dysregulated when the body cannot properly handle certain situations the way it used to. the body's way of responding to certain situations falls out of sync. it indicates a state of imbalance as you experience your body not being able to keep up with you.
signs.
these are some of the signs indicating you might have a dysregulated nervous system:
anxiety
easily irritated
memory problems
difficulty concentrating
headaches
quickly overwhelmed
mood swings
panic attacks
digestive issues
trouble sleeping
constant fatigue
chronic pain
persistent muscle tension
weakened immune system
stressors.
here is a list of stressors that are known to disrupt your nervous system balance:
chronic stress
burnout
traumatic events
poor sleep habits
unhealthy diet
no time for relaxation
support.
here are things you can do to help regulating your nervous system again:
meditating and resting
listening to music
dancing and moving
stretching and walking
eft tapping
massaging yourself
affirming
practicing mindfulness
reconnecting with nature
hugging someone or yourself
somatic shaking
rubbing ice cubes on face
taking a cold shower
sleeping and waking up early
grounding yourself
humming, singing and laughing
talking to someone
reading or listening
using a weighted blanket
drinking herbal tea
engaging in calming activities
deep breathing exercises
prioritising your sleep

… yang selalu disemogakan.
Hingga kini, aku belajar bahwa harapan yang selalu disimpan di dalam hati akan terkabul dengan cara terbaikNya. Meski kita tak mengatakannya dengan keras, meski tak semua orang tahu. Harapan dan ingin yang ada di dalam hati akan mencerminkan juga perbuatan yang kita lakukan setiap harinya. Dan pada akhirnya, ia akan menemui muaranya.
Aku menyimpan satu harapan dalam-dalam, menulis dan melipatnya dengan hati-hati, menyimpannya di sudut hati paling dalam. Harapan yang selalu aku semogakan, sejauh apapun aku berada, dan dimanapun aku melangkah.
Berharap, seringkali memang melelahkan. Mengusahakan harapan tersebut, lebih membuat letih. Tapi sejauh ini, aku hidup dengan semangat dari harapan-harapan kecilku yang kusimpan dengan bahagia di dalam hati. Meski, aku belum tahu kapan saatnya aku akan merasakan realita dari harapan tersebut.
Karena itulah, aku menyebutnya ‘yang selalu disemogakan.’ Bagiku, memiliki harapan adalah cara untuk tetap menghargai panjang dan sulitnya perjalanan, dan juga cara agar bisa terus menemukan senyum.
Meski kadang berharap itu melelahkan, tapi ia melatih hati untuk tetap kuat. Karena, berharap itu seperti menunggu sebuah rahasia akan terbuka. Saat berharap kita tidak tahu apa jawaban akhirnya, tapi tetap mengasyikkan untuk tetap menunggu dan menebak.
‘Harapan yang selalu aku semogakan’, begitu aku menyebutnya. Saat ini aku belum tahu kemana kapal besar ini akan berlabuh, tapi akan kupastikan bahwa selalu ada senyum dan syukur yang mengiringi.
Jangan putus berharap, jangan letih memiliki ingin.
Tetaplah berharap. :)
