your friends take a night on the town, and when they come upon 141 at a bar, they decide to call you up so their group of three could entertain their group of four.

Sarah giggled a little, her eyes shining with a little mischief as she and her two other friends sat at the booth that the tf141 guys were sitting at, “you know, if we had an extra girl here, then we could all pair off.”
Betsy was the one who piped up next, her head leaning against Sarah’s shoulder. She rattled off your name easily, “what about her? She should be off work?”
Sarah snorted a little, “girl, you know she doesn’t sleep around, but …,” she looked over to Simon who wasn’t paired with any of the girls yet, “maybe she could entertain him anyway,” with that in mind she took out her phone and sent you a text. Luckily, however, you were already in the area and heading home. Unlike your friends, you took up a life in the military and you just got back from deployment. Though, when you got the text you immediately groaned. Your friends always do this. They go ut and party and then make you tag along to either make you drive them home or to make sure the guys they are with are secretly serial killers. And the guys they would find were always a little off too, you suggested that they look for some in the military if they are interested in a one night stand, but they always decline.
You sent her a text saying that you were still in tactical gear and were tired.
Sarah was quick to reply and beg you to just swing by, and that the guys they were with were a group of four.
She knew you didn’t sleep around, but she still insisted that you could at least entertain the man.
Which, of course, made you groan again. Anytime you need to entertain the extra guy in a group of four, you find that you never have anything in common. Sure you could probably, hopefully, talk about workout routines or thoughts on where country conflicts are going, but since they aren’t military… its hard to find a common ground.
You sent a reply saying ‘fine.’
You hoped your surprise date, whoever he is, doesn’t mind the camo pants and a bullet proof vest.
Finding the bar was easy as you made your way inside. Your eyes scanning the room quick as you mentally took note of the drunks, the pervs, and the ones who may be safe but may actually have hidden agendas before finding your three friends and making your way over. And to your surprise, you recognized them even though they weren’t in uniform. Did your friends know these guys were military? Because you knew they never did-
“Y/n!”
You gave a small smile and took the open seat that just so happened to be next to your Lieutenant.
“I’m literally so happy you could make it! These guys are-“
You shook your head and cut her off, “I know them already.”
“What-? How?!”
You deadpanned, a soft sigh leaving your lips, “I work with them…? And I’m pretty sure I covered Kyle’s back at least twice already,” you then looked over to Pirce, “Captain.”
You weren’t part of 141, but you had enough joint operations that you knew the group pretty well… only at work of course, you didn’t know them at all outside of it. Price rattled off your callsign as he greeted you, “just got back from deployment?”
“Yes, sir. Had some headaches here and there, but we got shit done like any other day.”
As you finally relaxed within the group, conversation seemed to flow easy between you all along with the shock of them being military finally leaving your frineds’ minds.
“Lieutenant,” you greeted as each of your friends filtered to the man they wanted to “entertain” for the night. It was pretty obvious to you on who were you asked to keep company with.
“Simon’s fine,” he said before bringing his drink up to his lips to take a swig. Calling him that definitely seemed wrong, especially if he didn’t even want you to call him Ghost, but you figured that it was fine. Not to mention that it was weird seeming him without his mask, in fact, you were sure this was the first time for you to see his full face. And people outside of work just get to look at him like this? You noticed the mask on the table. Ok, maybe he only takes its off when he’s drinking, but still – that’s more face time they get more than you do.
“Right, Simon,” you said, “tell me, did my friends bombard your table, or were they invited over?”
“A mixture of both.”
You raised an eyebrow.
“Soap went to the bar, and then your friends attacked.”
“Ah… so an infiltration tactic.”
You didn’t notice the slight quirk of his lips, but his teammates sure did. Yes, they were supposed to be talking with the pretty girls on their arms, but they couldn’t help but to look at how easily you disarmed their Lieutenant.
Maybe it was time to finally get another member added to the team.

I would not consider the first video beginner friendly, but the second one is easier I think. Not joint or apartment friendly.

Todays workout: HIIT as always. I've started to hate running again, but I believe I need to start doing it again for at least 30 minutes. Maybe some light strength/resistance training too.
Additional thoughts: Thinking of fasting even on the days I work. I work a warehouse job, so its very physical but I still like to fast or restrict on those days. The only times I've ever felt tired or weak was a year ago when I was purging everyday. There were times I was dozing off standing upright which how does that even happen. But anyways I'd dont think I'm particularly at risk if I allow myself to have like low calorie drinks or something.

hii <3 i absolutely love all your workout posts soo soo much <3 thank u for them ! i just had a request if you could make a post about a weekly plan for beginners ? like someone who's just recently starting exercising for weight loss and overall health as a student who's prepping for a national exam , ive spent the entirety of 2024 on my desk , its caused me back issues , weight gain , joint pain and more , now that i finally have time i'd love to feel healthy and strong again <3 it would be a huge huge help if you post it <33 thank u a million times
hi lovely! i’m so glad my posts have helped you. most of the videos i’m going to be posting in the near future are likely going to be beginner friendly because i have had a flare up of inflammation in my shoulder, so i will not be going too hard for a bit. the videos that will work for you will vary from mine and anyone else’s, so the actual videos you do are really up to you and how you’re feeling day to day. however, i can suggest a split for you to try and give you some tips and channel recommendations!
split:
monday: full body strength
- if you have joint issues, strength training can definitely help with that! just make sure that you are doing low-impact exercises to keep pressure off of your joints. madfit and heather robertson have a lot of these types of videos, both with equipment and without! you can also do pilates for this if you feel it will benefit you better, and i have a beginner pilates routine masterlist posted.
tuesday: cardio & mobility
- same as monday, just be sure that you are doing low-impact exercises for cardio. i have a masterlist for cardio routines as well in case you need some recommendations. for mobility, i recommend heather robertson and julia.reppel on youtube. mobility is great for improving joint health!
wednesday: lower body
- you can really do any form of strength training here, with or without weights, pilates, etc. i have a lower body masterlist up as well, but i would recommend trying some mat/lying workouts to build up some muscle before moving into more intense exercises for lower body day. i have a couple of those masterlists posted as well!
thursday: active recovery
- this can include so many things, including mobility, stretching, yoga, walking, or anything else you can do that is gentle on your body. again, i love heather robertson’s active recovery routines.
friday: upper body
- if you have joint issues in your upper body, i would be gentle on upper body days, meaning just don’t push yourself too hard and if a movement doesn’t feel good or causes you pain, stop. emi wong and hailey c. have great upper body workouts that do not require any equipment.
saturday: cardio & core work
- same thing with the low-impact cardio. core work has so many benefits and is great for stabilizing your spine and, in turn, reducing the risk of injury to your joints. madfit has a lot of ab workouts, but you can really find them on any workout channel you like!
sunday: rest or active recovery
NOTE: please make sure, especially if you’re a beginner, that you are stretching after each workout! this will reduce soreness and risk of injury.
