"If we get rid of AGAB language how do we define being trans?"
By being trans, by going against how society sees you. Because guess what, not every trans person is going to transition, not every trans person fully removes themself from their "AGAB", not every trans person sees their transition as going from one side to the other.
Transgender is just a made up word just like every other word. It's a label you're supposed to use to help describe your experience, not another way to force others to conform.
Besides, AGAB language is completely useless when it is incredibly flawed. It just tells you what letter they put on your birth certificate and that is determined by your primary, secondary and beyond sexual characteristics. Guess what, not everybody's sexual characteristics fit, not everybody's "AGAB" fits them at all. Why? Because it's a pointless binary category based off of small minded individuals who think nature draws in straight lines and has a very simplified version of reality in this minds.
Also stop ignoring Intersex folks just because we don't fit your narrative and we're making you confront your own intersexism.

Ice cold takes from a Transgender Woman:
Men are not inherently Evil
Everyone has the capacity for evil
Transgender Men are men
Transgender Women are women
Excluding Cisgender Men from your spaces requires Transgender Men to out themselves if they want to engage (Same for Women)
Anyone can be Non-Binary, there is no "look" or requirement
Non-binary masculine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces, many are just treated as men and predators
Non-binary feminine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces without being seen as "Woman-Lite"
Edited the wording on the first point because too many terfs keep thinking I'm their friend.

Anyone else peeved by people refering to nonbinary people with "themselves" instead of "themself"? Like didn't we spend years talking about the singular they?

Mentioned I was non binary during a conversation earlier this week. Someone I've loved my whole life, who claims to love me, looked me in the eye, face screwed up with disgust, and said, 'You have mental problems - you know that, right?'
You can only see how little their love is worth when you refuse to be what they want you to be.
I will not be bullied into silence. I will not conform.
Why should I be uncomfortable for the sake of their comfort, when they feel free to insult and invalidate me openly, even smugly?
No. No. No. I won't.
To every single person who thinks they get to decide who the fuck I am - or who anyone else is, for that matter - Go. Fuck. Yourselves.
And to anyone else who's facing this kind of bullshit - Don't let them tell you you're the problem. You aren't. They are.

the great thing about being an aroace nonbinary person is that half the queer community thinks I’m a privileged cishet invading their spaces and the cishets think I’m a mentally ill freak but both sides agree that I’m faking it for attention.

Please stop forgetting nonbinary people!
Theyfab isn't a transmasc-specific slur. It's always been used against any nonbinary person assumed to be AFAB.
Though the AGAB of nonbinary people is nobody's business in the first place, it bears repeating that not every AFAB nonbinary person is transmasculine, just as not every AMAB nonbinary person is transfeminine.
These bigots aren't just transphobic towards trans men/mascs, they're exorsexist as well. We'll be stronger if we stick up for each other and push back against them together!
Edit: Just to make it clear, theyfab is being used against transmascs as well! I just want people to also acknowledge the non-transmasc nonbinary people being hurt.

Kind of hate that looking at the “trans rights” tag on tumblr makes a whole lot of porn pop up actually
Like I’m looking for resources not the fetishization of human bodies

I wish people treated queerness as breaking the rules of the dominant cis-hetero patriarchy so you can authentically be yourself. Instead of adhering to a new slightly less restrictive set of rules which you will deride other people for not following (basically whatever label discourse is now flaring up)

A lot of discourse could stop if y'all stopped approaching every situation with this idea that your experience is the default one

So I guess I was making things up or pretending 10 years ago when trans masc and nonbinary people who didn’t pass or express their gender in societally accepted ways were called “trenders” and “theyfabs” by the same people who would gladly accuse someone of being a blue haired liberal/sjw/feminazi/etc….Just another example of trans men not being respected as reliable narrators of their own experience!

By cutting out the TQ+, you also cut out:
-Intersex people
-Two-spirit gays and other culturally connected gays
-Gender nonconforming people
-Those who are questioning their sexuality
-Gays, lesbians, and bi's who are supportive of trans people
-Millions of kind, loving, supportive humans who have gone through indescribable, traumatic abuse and wish to build a safe, welcoming community
Why are you so eager to exclude and belittle people? Why do you tell them they 'don't know what real struggle looks like' when their healthcare, their future, and their lives are under attack? Do you truly value 'love', or do you just want to swat away as many people as possible? Why do you continue to hide under a rock and dig yourself deeper into festering hatred, when you can simply come out and support people who can help you?
Wouldn't it be easier to unite with our trans and nonbinary friends to help defeat the growing threat of genuine fascism in our country? Those conservative Christian nationalists and white supremacists who tell you you're "one of the good ones" would gladly turn around and shoot you in a heartbeat, because when they say they're fighting the 'woke gender ideology', they'll mutter in the same breath that you gays are 'degenerates', 'sodomites', and 'animals'. Why would you side with the villains, who see you the same way they see us?
We cannot let oppression continue in any form. We will all be on the winning side of history as we step closer to ending the cycle of hatred and bullying. Open your hearts and minds and you'll find that the everyone around you is just as human as you, and are more similar to you than you'd think. Trans people are people, just like you, and we need your help and support just as much as you need ours.
Isn't it neat how people who are supportive of all LGBTQ+ identities are also kinder, more loving, more empathetic, and more caring towards their friends and loved ones? Just something to think about.
Love wins. Trans rights are human rights.

this pride month we need solidarity now more than ever.
I mean it. no more of this “x queer group has it worse than all other queer groups” bullshit, we don’t have the luxury to play oppression olympics this year. and it’s not enough to quietly spread positivity and be supportive from the sidelines, we need to actively push back against separatism and community infighting.
don’t make one nice post about people who share your own identity and call it a day - take this month to learn about the struggles others face and celebrate our differences.
this pride, read up on queer classics, from whipping girl and stone butch blues to queer journalists’ articles and the original little mermaid. discuss what you liked and didn’t like about them with friends. talk to queer people from somewhere you’ve never been in your life, chat with the older gay couple down the street. listen to queer people you don’t completely agree with. make an effort to educate, not berate, people when they’re in the wrong.
we can all do better, I know we can. so let’s give it our best 🌈

ok but the “lgbtq groomers are indoctrinating children” narrative is so strange to me cuz like. i had it hammered into my head so hard that i was a girl that i thought i was, as a uterus haver, obligated to have my ear impaled at eight years old. I was so conditioned into heteronormativity that i thought my only choice in life was to grow up, marry a cisgender christian man, and have his babies. Like the adults in my life practically shipped me with this guy friend i had when i was like 6 to the point where i thought we had to date when we got older. you know who’s never made me feel anything like that? queer people. when conservatives say “indoctrinating” they mean “inspiring dissent that could disrupt the status quo we’ve forced upon everyone”
