No. I will never blame any woman for her oppression. I will always, always blame the men who benefit from it. Women are only doing what they know and have been taught in order to survive.

Also, be honest: “white” has nothing to do with it. You were just scared to say “blame women for patriarchy”. All the examples I provided which are patriarchy-based are non-white women. For more modern examples see: African mothers still taking their daughters to be genitally mutilated (the procedure being done by usually other women), Korean mothers insisting their daughters wear full-body sun-protection suits to "stay young", and insisting on harmful chemicals as "skincare", or botox as a graduation gift, Islamic and orthodox jewish mothers insisting their daughters start dressing "modestly" from the age of 3.

These women do not benefit. They are only doing what they know to survive, and teaching their daughters how to survive. It's learnt helplessness. It's not their fault that they feel they need to do this in order to survive. It's the men who pay for it, profit from it and get sexual pleasure from it - the men who kill women or cause women to suffer without it.

Yes, women need to work their own way out of oppression, but I will never "blame" it on women. I thought we were beyond saying "it's her fault she was raped, she's to blame for the way she was dressed" when the only one to blame for rape is a rapist.

I will encourage any women to stop supporting patriarchy, but no matter what happens she is not to "blame". Every woman is still a victim to patriarchy, even if she participates - she did not create the cage she's decorating.

okay so first of all, I never though that I'd hear the term "hair trauma" used unironically.

and second of all, why do these "transfems" even insist on comparing everyone's suffering in such a derogatory way all the time. I mean I have made different observations about people being bullied for their hair length, but you don't see me walking around comparing different people's "hair trauma"? that seems like such a bizarre past time to me.

and thirdly, even WITHIN THE MADEUP SCENARIO this person uses to make fun of transmascs, the transmasc did get into a ton of trouble for cutting their hair short... just because they don't make a huge fuzz about telling everyone HOW EXACTLY they got into trouble when they cut their hair short doesn't mean it wasn't traumatic as well

so yeah, imagine a world where transmascs actually stood up to these weirdos who want to downplay their experiences all the time and act like they are the permanent winner of the victim olympics.

one of my friends completely transformed into a religious freak and i’m so worried about her.

she was born into a Catholic family and had always believed in God and whatnot, but it was only recently that she got much worse—to the point where she would “rebuke” seeing a sign for voodoo doughnuts, and said she would pray for me because i happen to own a deck of tarot cards. she believes in demons and believes you can let demons into your life by watching someone cast a spell in Harry Potter or watching American Horror Story. she thinks every celebrity is evil (most likely true lol) but in the way of they sold their soul for their fame.

there was about a year period where she completely isolated from everyone due to poor mental health + bouts of psychosis, and she recently confided in me that the only thing that helped her though it was her local church group. so we have yet another example of religious people taking advantage of vulnerable people and brainwashing them into thinking they’ll always be okay so long as they accept jesus.

she even tried to evangelize me, and when I politely pushed back with my reasoning of christianity being inherently misogynistic, she had no real response to my arguments besides “us calling God ‘He’ has nothing to do with misogyny, actually!”

i don’t know what to do…she’s one of my oldest friends (we’re in our mid 20s and i’ve literally known her since kindergarten) and i don’t want to cut her off, but she’s really starting to freak me out.

i personally have only very rarely ever used tampons due to personal preference but I remember how friends used to tell me about how they felt it was making their cramps and overall period worse and i heard women talk about starting to use reusable cloth-pads and other alternatives and how much better it got for them - how their flow got weaker, their overall period got shorter and the pain was less

Stomp right wing ideology out of radical feminism. There is nothing radical nor feminist about any form of right wing ideology. Radical feminism is a leftist ideology. If you are a conservative and you think you're a radfem, you're probably just a conservative and can see the truth behind trans ideology. But racism, homophobia, religious indoctrination (I'll say it - I think religion sucks and is bad for you), etc needs to be purged from this movement. The core values are inherently contradictory.

gender is a conservative-made social construct btw. It has no purpose besides keeping women subordinate and dependant and making sure men join the military. It’s not an identity, it’s a method of oppression, and you are falling for it head over heels.

makeup and breast augmentation, high heels and false eyelashes aren’t “gender affirming “care””, they’re a product of capitalism that targets women, designed to make you feel ugly without them and become reliant on the industry.

Gender ideology is conservative and “gender affirming care” is capitalist. You aren’t a leftist or a communist.

hey! I saw ur post asking about peaking stories. im not sure, but im guessing peaking means when you realised the whole trans thing was bs? if so then i have a story for that !!

so i used to be a huuuuuge trans supporter, at one point thought i may be a trans man (though i thankfully didn’t come out or change name or do any sort of transition).

then i started to realise the flaws in the logic and distanced myself from the whole thing. but i decided that i would take the approach of “if it’s just people being themselves and it doesn’t affect me, i should be fine with it.”

then one day a man on public transport cyber flashed me and my friends by airdropping penis pictures to us. i knew who it was because there was only one guy on the carriage actually on his phone. he was holding two separate iphones (suspicious as hell) and looking around all sneaky. I can’t fully explain it, but if you were there you’d just KNOW it was him. so i took a picture of him. I decided to report this incident and send in the picture of the guy, hoping something would get done.

when i was spoken to on the phone by the transport people, the staff member basically gaslit me into not putting the report through, told me there was nothing they could do, made me feel like i was overreacting. literally quote he asked “do you feel like a victim?”. sadly i was too young and shy to call him out. i was far too polite about the whole thing.

Anyway, in this interaction he referred to the man doing the airdropping as “he or she”. I remember thinking ‘she???? SHE????’ and i realised that in this world of self identity, there’s nothing to say that he couldn’t have identified as a woman. And I thought to myself, in that scenario, am I meant to think of that as a female-on-female sex crime? would that be how it’s counted in crime statistics? and suddenly everything came crashing down for me. like, wow, trans ideology actually does affect me and isn’t just about self expression and people being themselves. it has serious ramifications on people’s, specifically women’s, lives.

So yeah, that’s when i ‘peaked’ if im using that word correctly lol
