Arcane women with a flirty and seductive reader?
Hey doll <3
As soon as I read this I knew I had to write about it!
Content: head cannons with a small amount of nsfw - lingerie description, flirting, slight power play if you squint
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I feel like considering Caitlyn’s busy job, on a constant trial and error to find Jinx; she wouldn’t have a whole lot of time to spend with you.
She’s the kind of person to be walking through the streets of Piltover on a patrol, and see a lingerie set through one of the shop’s windows; and buy it instantly for you, as an apology.
By now you’d probably have a whole wardrobe of laced underwear and ruffled bras, the materials would always be comfortable and top quality, and sometimes, if she felt really bad; it’d even be custom made to fit your body perfectly.
However, the times she did have off to relax, you’d make sure to use it to your advantage.
Though Caitlyn wasn’t entirely the type to indulge in your seductive antics and teasing hip sways, some nights she’d give in and let her eyes wander.
She was definitely a more observant person, usually not putting her hands on you unless you verbally asked for it, most of the time she’d just let her gaze rack shamelessly over you.
She adored your body, and that was not an understatement, it didn’t matter what you did, if you used the products she’d spoilt you with or even didn’t do anything to pamper your appearance at all, she still sat in awe every time, in her eyes, you were perfect.
And luckily for you, she wasn’t the type to deny you for long. It only took a few tempting looks and discreet leg spreading for her to give in, soon having you splayed on the large king queen sized bed.
Now she could really look at you.
Tumblr media
Sevika would definitely be possessive over you.
Which for you, meant there were a lot of rules. Revealing clothes? Only for her eyes, but there were occasions she’d purposely send you out with certain attire, she liked showing you off.
If there was an occasion you’d try seduce her, she’d most likely tease you with dump play, and brush the attempts off for a good while before even considering actually touching you.
The only downside was if you even tried to force it on her, like you’d done once or twice; straddle her lap, twirl her hair, or put your hands on her? you’re not getting anything.
She’d make it clear who was in control; sit you beside her, on the floor.
Talk down to you and even extinguishing the end of her cigar onto the skin of your shoulders. Before kissing the little blisters better, of course.
Tumblr media
I feel like Jinx would be good at clothing design, you see a lot of fabrics reused in her wardrobe. So who’s to say she wouldn’t make you things time to time?
Vibrant multi patterned lingerie, patches sewed into and over the mesh in places that needed to be bigger, or she’d staple edges together to make it a bit smaller.
And if you wore it?
Her hands would be all over you, she didn’t need to be seduced to already have you pulled up against her, feeling over your hips, your back, your chest; especially your chest.
She had zero self control when it came to you, she was infatuated.
Tumblr media
You never realised how easily Vi could give into your antics, you’d always expected her to be the one bossing you around, that she would be the one with the self control.
You were quickly proven wrong, if you even had an inch of skin lower than your cleavage visible, or the beginning of your upper thighs peeking out… she was a mess.
It was almost pitiful how easily she’d fall for advances.
You sit yourself in her lap? Her hands would tremble on your sides, stuffing her face into your shoulder.
And if you teased her? Rolling your hips, and yet not allowing her to touch anymore skin then what was exposed?
She would whine, calloused fingertips dragging across your shoulders.
But luckily for her you didn’t have the heart to prologue it, and within a few minutes deep purple hickeys scattered every inch of skin she could reach.

It’s finally finished!!
RoyJamieKeeley ot3 ❤️ Click on the photo for better quality :p
I’m so proud of this one, especially since its the first full color drawing I’ve done on clip studio paint
I’m also super happy with the poses too, I definitely think my art will improve now that I can finally visualize the poses in my head thru the magic poser app 🙏
lots of trial and error in this drawing tho, especially given the mechanics of csp are super different from procreate, but I ended up fixing Roy and he actually looks like himself now 🎉
Get ready for some more fanart with better poses!! Specifically of royjamie and sambucky lol

pirate radio, december 2023 risograph printed in bright red and black ink
my final graphic design thesis project from about this time last year! i made a sleeve for a diy vinyl record (track featured by my friend aria @everlastingwife ^_^). this process was so much fun to experiment with!! on my first attempt, i tried to 3d print a record using a 3d model i generated from the wav file. this did not work because i didn't have access to any printers with a fine enough resolution — all of the grooves holding the audio information totally melted. for my second try, i used a subtractive process instead and badgered my department into buying the gakken toy record maker, which was essentially a tiny record lathe. the audio quality was total ass but it worked much better and was playable! lot of trial and error involved but i'm overall very satisfied with the final outcome :-] hope to make some cd mixtapes now that i no longer have access to that little lathe.
🏴‍☠️ bootleg everything. ok bye

some tips on how to make bosses easier if youre feeling theyre too hard:
play a ranged physical dps class. that way you can hang back to keep an eye on the arena and what the boss is doing without having to worry about needing to stand still long enough to complete an induction
on that note, inductions are considered finished before the bar is full. you can usually move right before it fills and still have it go off, but it takes some trial and error to figure out how close you can cut it
move your ui around. my own life was made immeasurably easier when i put the target right above my hotbar so i wouldnt have to pay attention to both the top and bottom of the screen at the same time, but try stuff out and see what works best for you
the best time to mitigate an attack is right before the boss finishes casting it. the second best time is as soon as the mit becomes available, every time it becomes available
use addle and feint. you almost never see these used in casual content and it's a waste because they really are extremely useful skills at any level
use arm's length and surecast. there are some knockbacks they dont work on but those are rare. if you know youre gonna get pushed, use these and you probably won't get pushed
take advantage of duty support. the npcs know the mechanics. watch them and let them teach you
particle effects cant hurt you (usually). with the exception of puddles that stay on the ground for a while or layered stacks like akh morn, as long as youre not standing on the marker when it disappears (or are if it's a stack), you're in the clear. feel free to move through the animation if necessary. more and more mechanics require you to do so to be in position for the next one in time
it's usually fine to let spread markers overlap. just, yknow, make sure another person isnt in yours (though its the responsibility of anyone without a spread to keep themselves out of harms way)
when in doubt, ask your party members. it's extremely rare to match with a group of randos and have everyone be a first-timer. most players are happy to help, and the ones that know the mechanics but are bad at explaining them will usually just stick a marker on themselves (usually a triangle) for you to follow
read your tool tips. boss fights are as much a test of how well you know your class as they are your ability to read and react to mechanics. unless youre playing a healer or paladin, youre going to use your entire kit, so make sure you know what everything does
on that note, freecure is a scam. once you get cure ii/benefic ii, you will never need cure or benefic again. keep them on your hotbar for when you get synced content if you wish, but otherwise you do not need them. do not use them
if you play multiple classes, try to keep skills that do the same/similar things at the same spot on your hotbar. this isn't always possible bc despite what some may claim, not all classes of the same type are actually identical, but it will save you a lot of headaches
entirely new and unique mechanics are rare to the point of being nigh nonexistent. everything is a remix of something else and practicing in lower level content can actually be a big help
look up guides. the internet is full of them in pretty much whatever form works best for you (though they can be of admittedly variable quality)
turn down party effects. theyre on one of the tabs under character configuration > controls. if you put them on minimum you can still see heals and such but you wont have your screen constantly full of explosions
turn on target health percentage. this one is under character configuration > ui. it lets you better see how close the boss is to going down
make summons smaller. we all love titan's ass but not when it's the only thing you can see. "/petsize all small" will make this problem go away
relax and have fun. panicking leads to mistakes, which can lead to worse mistakes. if you need to take a second to breathe, do so. your party members probably wont mind waiting a minute or two between pulls

Continuing on the pubic hair discussion… I know you said you used soap for shaving cream so I’m not expecting high quality advice, but… as someone who uses scissors in a desperate attempt to manage the sensory hell, would you be willing to expand? I’m scared to google because *waves generally* internet. Do you use a disposable razor? Something fancier? How even does soap, like, help? Does it?
I can’t begin to convey how unsafe it is to use scissors.
Do not use scissors near your junk.
I use a disposable razor, my wife uses clippers and many folks in the notes liked clippers as well. Clippers have a guard to protect you from the blades.
One person used a single blade razor- not my top recommendation but still better than scissors.
Shaving cream is there to keep things moving smoothly. If things stick you’re more likely to cut yourself or get an ingrown hair. My hair is fine enough that it’s nice but not necessary if I’m on a huge hurry. On the flip side my beloved will get ingrown hairs at the drop of a hat and has to take way more care to do things by the book.
There’s some trial and error involved but believe me, you do not want a scissors style error. Experiment with a safer tool until you find something that works for you. Avoid shaving against the grain, that always sucks, and good luck.

Do you have any tips to get better at writing? Your word usage is so amazing. the way u describe things are so utterly unique, it’s so mesmerizing. You motivated me to write more but I want to reach your level of skill
i'll be honest, i personally find my writing to be rather subpar and lacking in the necessary technical skill to justify its overly stylised prose and excessive wordiness, so i wouldn't necessarily recommend taking inspiration from me. that being said, i'm my own worst critic and i am very flattered that my writing resonates so strongly with you. i'm not a professional writer, so i can't offer much in the way of advice beyond what has, through trial and error and years of practice, worked for me.
something that people often point out to me when complimenting my writing is that i have a rather lyrical style, which i can see. i try to pay attention to the way that words flow together - which words best complement one another - and choose how to structure and order sentences based on that. i do have a fairly extensive vocabulary thanks to reading a lot from a young age, but i also frequently make use of the thesaurus (my most dearly beloved). obviously, trying to beef up your writing by simply using more obscure words that you found in a book will come across as clumsy, and detract from your writing rather than enhancing it, but if you learn how to stitch words together in a way that has a pleasing ear or mouthfeel, you can mitigate that somewhat, and even make it part of your repertoire of skills.
speaking of vocabulary, the more expansive it becomes, the more doors it opens to you in terms of what you can write and how you can write it. this is pretty straightforward common sense stuff, but you'd be surprised by how effective is if you actually start paying attention to it. likewise with grammar. not everything you write needs to sound like it was written for a sophisticated publication in a well-respected 19th century newsletter, but if you read widely and often, you'll find that your understanding of just how many ways the scaffolding of phrasing and punctuation can be used to support incredible linguistic architecture there are grows immensely, and start seeing opportunities to make all these little adjustments and additions and substitutions that enhance your work's overall presentation.
with regard to the above, i'd also recommend considering how you want your audience to feel. you can alter a reader's entire undercurrent of sensational experience simply by changing a few words, according to whatever emotional (or even more primal) response you intend to provoke. you can also mix your palettes, and flirt with crossing the wires (horror tinged with eroticism and vice versa, fantasy with a dose of down-to-earth pragmatism, tragicomedy, and so on). the more you experiment, the more your confidence will grow, and your skills begin to take shape, from crude instruments to refined, specialised tools.
one word of caution i'd offer you, based on my own shortcomings, is that my style of writing does very much neglect realistic-sounding dialogue. the way that i write and the way human beings talk to one another clashes without much grace or redemptive quality (at least in my opinion), and i have yet to find a satisfactory solution to this. i'll let you know if i ever figure it out.

I understand why professors say teamwork is important when justifying group projects, even though I know it’s really about grading less papers. I’m a reasonable person, I get it.
But if you’re an instructor on this app I raise you this: if the project is about teamwork, why isn’t my grade?
I’m being graded on the end result of the project, not the teamwork. Yet no amount of teamwork is going to make that end result strong if there are people in my group who simply don’t care. And no, that isn’t how it works in the real world.
When I worked on group projects professionally, there were things in place to set the team up for success and monitor our work:
- there was usually pre-designated project lead who had leadership skills or a strong background knowledge on the project
- our slack channels usually had a supervisor in them for questions and accountability
- in my non slack work places we had project check ins with a supervisor
-in some cases we had project feedback surveys at the end or halfway through
I’m 33, I have professional and leadership experience, I could do this project by myself in a week and get an A because I’ve done similar work professionally. I also have ocd so “taking over” is something I’ve worked hard to reduce and I’ve learned to balance with “step up step back”.
By not doing all the work for a group of 20 something’s who barely experienced high school, I actually am practicing teamwork and leadership. I’m giving them info and prompts to try to help, but some of them simply don’t care and are hoping someone else will do all the work. Ultimately they can get away with that because my professor is grading us on the quality of our work, not how we got there.
My attempts to get people to meet, the prompts I gave my team to help get conversations going, and the info I provided to them that they didn’t use will not be graded. My professor will never see our discord chat. Instead I’m being graded on the work ethic of others. How is this teaching teamwork? How is this grading team work? How is it actually preparing severely undersocialized students (my classmates missed most of high school due to Covid and it shows) for the workplace?
So if you’re a teacher, professor or instructor who genuinely cares about teaching teamwork and not just grading fewer papers, here are some suggestions:
-designate a project leader: let the team choose and give that person extra credit
-do project check ins, it can just be a quick survey monkey to give people a chance to “tattle” anonymously. You have to actually read them and follow up on issues though.
-mandate that the group chat stays in canvas or that you’re included in the discord chat, that chat itself should be part of the grade based on how much people participated in and lead conversations
-give individual grades. This means not just grading based on the end result but on each persons portion of it. If one person made the whole presentation that’s going to factor more into their grade. If one section of a project is better researched than another that should factor into individual grades.
-TEACH TEAMWORK FIRST: college isn’t about learning by trial and error, we’re typically given material to learn before being graded on an assignment that proves our knowledge of it. So many current students were not taught teamwork or other social skills typically gained in high school because of COVID learning, don’t assume they know how to do things you take for granted. If the project is team based because you feel teamwork is important, the least you can do is give some handouts on communication and planning strategies that are used in real workplaces. It’s unfair to be grading students on something you didn’t teach them / that isn’t a prerequisite for your course. If your course doesn’t have teamwork knowledge as a prerequisite why are you assuming your students know anything about it?

A lot of my writing posts that are intended to be reassuring/motivating tend to get comments like “Okay but mine is actually just an exception and everything I make sucks haha”
And I just
No
I absolutely refuse to accept that you’ve never done anything even remotely passable in your life ever. You’re not shit. You’re not incapable of creating anything good. You’re a typical average hobbyist with self-deprecation issues and imposter syndrome. Chill the F out
If you genuinely, honestly believe that you’ve never made anything of acceptable quality in your entire life, explore that. Why do you feel that way? What’s something that you feel lowers the quality of your work? What standard are you not meeting? Turn it into something actionable and go through some trial and error. Maybe it’s not about your work at all, and you need to work on yourself first. Do that
You would never talk about any other aspiring writer the way you did about yourself. Why are you any different? Why do you uniquely deserve horrible things being said about you online? That’s not something we should be tolerating, even from ourselves. The only times we want to hear those things about ourselves is when we’re talking through our feelings in order to express ourselves and make headway in bettering ourselves. Not as some shitty punchline. Not as some self-hate soapbox. This is not a healthy or appropriate way to talk about anyone, and you’re anyone, so be a bit goddamn nicer to yourself while you’re at it

How to Make Friends
A more-or-less clear guide on social interactions
Growing up with heavy ADHD and generalized anxiety, it was always a bit hard for me to make friends and socialize. Despite my yearning for friendship, I was always "the quiet one" and "a loner", simply because I didn't know how to approach certain social situations, and it made any friendship I had extremely unstable (except for my sister @vive-le-quebec-flouffi, who was so extroverted and friendly it was literally impossible to escape her clutches of socialization)
As I grew older, I learned through a lot of trial and error what makes a good friendship.
Or, rather... what's the best way for someone to WANT to be your friend (without being superficial or hypocritical.)
Now, obviously, this doesn't work for everyone. But this is what I found helped me the most in social circles (especially online) and I hope it can help others too
LET'S BEGIN!
1 - Be yourself
Now that sounds very cliche and cringe, I know, but hear me out, because my opinion on this is not the same as all those feelgood inspirational movies and ads.
"Being yourself" isn't as simple as it seems. Because after all, what does "self" imply? If someone is, say, a criminal, would "be yourself" mean that they should embrace their sinful side?
No, obviously not.
"Be yourself" is a bit more nuanced, but I'll try to boil it down for you.
It just means "be unashamed of your qualities which you think are flaws". For example, "be yourself" would apply to someone who sees themselves as ugly, or maybe someone with an odd yet unharmful hobby, or a weird sense of fashion, or someone with say a handicap, a speech impediment. "Be yourself" is a sentence for the specific people who have genuine good in them, but are afraid to show it to others because they have been persecuted in the past, or are scared to be. It does NOT mean to accept genuine flaws. "Be yourself" does not include say violent anger issues, an addiction, a recent crime committed, or a generally unpleasant personality. Those are obviously not things to encourage. You can understand they may be a thing that happen to you, and accept it in your life, but that's different from being proud of it or encouraging it.
Speaking of personalities... let's talk about that
2 - Be kind
Now when some people hear that, they think it means "always smile no matter what, always look happy and positive, always agree with everyone just so you don't hurt their feelings, and never cause any drama", like you're Deku in My Hero Academia or Steven Universe in his titular show.
But that's... not quite that.
Obviously, kindness is something you use to help people feel better, to cheer up, and feel happy, and obviously to be kind, you need to have compassion, heart, empathy, and always put yourself in other people's shoes regardless of who they are. But it is not necessarily all-encompassing.
There's a rule that I think anyone learning kindness must learn. It's that sometimes, kindness means to be firm.
Not mean, of course. Not judgmental, not insensitive. Don't insult anyone, don't belittle or patronize anyone or make them feel inferior to you. That's still very rude and that's not what you want.
But what I mean is that sometimes, if you know that a person's actions towards something are wrong, especially if it's towards someone else, you must be able to point it out, and act accordingly. Don't just stand there and agree with them just because you don't want to hurt their feelings. You must still be able to know right from wrong. Kindness just means you won't be an ass about it, it doesn't mean to stay silent.
Hey, that brings me to point three!
3 - Show your own opinions
If there's one thing people hate just as much as meanness, it's those who stand by and do nothing about it.
Regardless of if you agree with them or not, if you say absolutely nothing when genuinely bad behaviour is happening, out of fear of "starting a fight", you are actively making the person who is being attacked feel alone.
I remember myself, when I was bullied in the first two grades of secondary school (11-13 years old for those who don't know) for "being ugly", I was told by my mother (who was friends with other kid's parents) that some of the kids "didn't hate me" and "didn't agree with the bullying". And I asked her "if they don't hate me, why won't they talk to me?" She never managed to answer that one. And it broke my heart, because outside of my sister, I had no one else.
Don't be like that. You may be scared of acting, but you know who would be grateful if you did act? The victims. And isn't their opinion of you much more important than the opinion of someone who acts with hatred and bigotry?
If you see someone suffering injustice, or even just hear someone who has a rather harmful opinion, don't be scared to tell them that you disagree. Obviously don't be an asshole about it, stay civil, but if you voice out your opinion, you will be seen as someone who stays true to their beliefs and is brave enough to stand up for them if the opportunity comes.
There's obviously much more that comes with social life (nonverbal cues, sense of humor, timing and mood), and I don't know everything (I'm just some random québécois girl on the internet). But I hope this was a bit more helpful. I did have fun writing this, at least. So I guess that's better than nothing!

how do u get comms!! Like which site do you find you're getting the most attention on? And any othet tips you might have ^_^
I think it’s mostly that I’m very algorithm friendly when it comes to posting. I post art nearly everyday, if not multiple times a day, a feature most artists just cannot do. And I don’t really post anything that isn’t art related… It would be insane of me to recommend others try to do that though.
Because I post so much, people don’t, or can’t, forget that they follow me since there’s a new post to see on your feed from me all the time. Not all my posts are good, or will appeal to everyone, but that’s ok because I’ll post something else very soon. And when I’m doing comms, people see me posting comms I’ve done for other people and are reminded that I do comms almost everyday for a few weeks or whatever. And that constant reminder clearly works.
I get most of my comms from Twitter which gives me lots of feelings. But it makes sense. Now that I take comms mostly on Kofi, a lot of people don’t put what platform they came from so I’m not sure the specific numbers anymore but before I switched over to doing that I’m not kidding it was like 99% from Twitter :/
Another thing to add is that not only do I post frequently on each platform, but I post on a bunch of different platforms. It takes me a long time to post one image to all my socials but when a post flops on one platform it did fine on another. Plus it’s more convenient if that artist you like is also using the same platform you usually use right?
Im kinda going quantity over quality a bit, but i see proof it works. If I don’t post for a few days my notifications go completely dead. No engagement. Which would be fine, except that’s my entire business. Sites like Tumblr, and even Bsky now have a better non-algorithm based audience so people who want to see my art are able to find it without new content via their friends rb or relevant tags. But also anytime I put tags on any other site than Tumblr my post engagement goes down???? Do people not like seeing posts with tags in them? Apparently…
I’m focusing on post schedule because it’s pretty evident that there are much better artists than I getting less commissions so it clearly isn’t just art abilities that make commissioners come running. I’m still trying to make my art itself better of course, but I think it’s mostly that I finish so much art that I have any sort of audience at all.
Sorry this is so rambley, I’m not all that sure what to say. Getting commissions is sadly a social media thing more than an art thing I feel like, which means a lot of it is trial and error to see what works for you and your artwork to find that audience of people who like it and want to commission you.

Prismo the WishMaster as your boyfriend
Tumblr media
First off, just a fact, chillest dude in all of Ooo
Like, if you guys broke up (not that you would, but-) he would be the kinda guy you would actually be friends with
Because he is confined to the time room, dates are limited
A lot of indoor dates; home-cooked food, board game nights and, of course, watching movies (or alternate realities on his TV)
The man always has your favourite snacks at hand (and most other things for that matter)
Honestly, your presence brightens up his day
Like, he could be having the most boring/hardest day at work, but you sending a quick check-in text really makes his day
Once you two start getting more serious, I can see him using his powers to spoil you (which probably is a violation of the rules, but oh well-)
Oh, you saw a dress you wanted that was out of your budget? Magically in your closet
You wish you could style your hair a certain way? Bam, new doo by the morning
There's a book you're dying to read that hasn't been released yet? it's now on your bedside table
on that note, with your consent, I think he would like to use his powers to play dress up with you, as long as you're both having fun, and it's not just you treating him like your personal tailor
And as nice as it is to have a cosmic sugar daddy, please reassure him that you like him for him, and not his powers.
Like, this man deals with crippling loneliness, you gotta let him know that you're there for him too
Maybe you can't give things to him like he gives you, but you can be there to listen to him vent or just say sweet things to him (COMPLIMENT THIS PINK STRING BEAN)
This man loves your praise
he barely gets enough recognition for his job, so please tell him you love him and that he's a sweet boyfriend
you automatically get an invite to all of his parties (but understands if you don't want to go)
if you make him anything home-made, dude is going to treasure it
like, he would make a whole ass room just to put the things you give him in it
Has defiantly used the pick-up like: "if everything around me is a dream, then you're the most beautiful thing I've ever dreamed of"
Guy can be suave in his own dorky kind of way
He also likes cooking for you
he does it with zero powers, he just wants to make something for you
his cooking isn't always the greatest, but he does get better over time, you just gotta stomach it for a while til his trial-and-error phase ends (spoiler alert: it never does)
And, this goes without saying, but he makes you pickles
one time he made a special batch for you, with a note that said 'for my sweet pickle'
He's also tried to write you a song on his banjo
he's got spirit and it's the thought that counts anyway
I also see him having the love language of quality time (He's in a time box, I don't think he has much of a choice)
If you stick around long enough, he will give you a guest room
He will occasionally ask you for feedback about his stories
oh, and it's totally obvious when he's written characters that remind you of you two a little *too* much
If you are a writer or an artist, he would love to know all about your stories/OCs
or if you're a creative at all, would love to know more about your work
Super supportive (again, will use his powers to get you the most expensive materials)
If you guys are serious, he will introduce you to jake, assuming you didn't meet jake earlier at his parties or just because Jake just dropped in to say hi
Has defiantly told Jake about you at some point
So when you introduce yourself to him, Jake defiantly embarrasses Prismo about it
"Oh, so this is the girl you've been telling me all about?"
you guys have a dinner planner. It avoids having the same talk about what to have for dinner every night
After some time, he does decorate his time room a bit more
It's still minimal, but now there's a plant and a bookshelf or something
Is the kinda guy that's shy about dancing and singing, until a few drinks, and then he's doing karaoke like it's no one's business
Not the kind of guy to raise his voice
like, even if he was mad at you, would never do that. i see him responding in short sentences if that's the case
He's a god, you're a mortal, y'all definitely have existential conversations
But he's also so chill that they never feel depressing
Even though the relationship may be a bit strange to navigate because of the whole God/Mortal thing, you wouldn't have it any other way
He may be a God, but you are his Heaven
This is my first time posting headcanons like this, hope you all enjoyed it. If you want more or have a specific scenario you want me to write about, don't hesitate to ask (I'm always looking to sharpen my writing skills)

peter parker would not be a chemical engineer!!
actually-- maybe he would be. i'm not completely against it and i would never yuck someone's harmless headcanon shaped yum
but please please please know what a chemical engineer does before you headcanon it. for my soul. as a chem eng student with a special interest only God could stop. lol what even is an engineer? you may be asking yourself. fair question. its one of those professions that is so broad its a bit hard to narrow down.
like, okay, you can imagine an office worker as... a person who works in an office. but what are their daily tasks? well it depends on their position, their company, how close they are to retirement, etc. engineering is kinda similar. the office would be problem solving with math, science, and a whole-lotta of trial and error. the daily tasks would change though. and a large part is based on the specific discipline.
okay, but whats a discipline (aka a specialization)?
what an inquisitive mind we have here. if you have ever heard of a mechanical engineer you can probably infer that their daily tasks would be much different to uhhh like a computer engineer. maybe some overlap-- sure, sometimes-- but generally distinct.
chemical engineering is a discipline! cool cool cool... so what does a chemical engineer do? not actually a lot of chemistry
WHAT HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE ITS IN THE FUCKING NAME
relax, pwincess. chemical engineers use chemistry in their work, but they just as often use physics and math (and even biology! which i have tons of fun with). chemical engineers can do a ton. so its a bit hard to narrow down. for this reason, i really can't claim our resident spidey wouldn't enjoy chemeng. i just picture him as mechanical and biomedical.
if you love chemeng so much though (me too!) and want to keep using it, here are some example jobs:
process engineer (could be oil, could be biotech, could be anything. essentially this is the managing of manufacturing or some kind of process control. checks flow of products in and out, their quality, and the maintenance of the machinery).
research & development (so, so broad. could be research in how a new heart pump could work-- thats flow in and out baybeee. it could be new renewable energy for batteries. it could be changing how fans are made. because why not).
optimization (oooo so sexy. wanna make something cheaper / easier / faster without comprimising it's quality. you might think its impossible, but chemical engineers dream big.)
and literally so many other things.
because
OKAY, maybe peter parker could be a chemical engineer
chemical engineering is a pretty tough degree, so when employers see it they also see : can do math, can do deadlines, can do problem-solving. it's pretty much only the people skills they can't confirm LOL so live your truth, write your fanfiction, draw the most unhinged fanart, i'll be reblogging all that shit. but now you're doing it with a better understanding of chemeng. and aint that something.
