I didn't think it too much, I just liked how it sounded, it's not really linked with how his lore works, or maybe it does and I didn't realized? Whatever.

Hanzō the Honedge

His name was made almost in the same way I make names for most of my ocs, translating words related to what they are in random languages and then putting them together.

I just remember that his name was a bleeding with japanese and something, and I used the word "sharp" or "edge", I think.

Palith the Lileep

With her it was a struggle, I wanted to give her a soft sounding name but also something unique, some names I had for her was: Yurodi, Adhiz(That name was used later for another oc), Everie, Pharii.

Then I remember that word "Litho" which is used for rocks, I can't remember at the moment but I took it and BOOM, Palith, I liked the sound so it was settled.

Saribi the Monferno

No much thinking, I think I translated "Little flame" into a language I can't remember and I distorted it.

Tobo the Impidimp

I translated "Howl" and "Sorrow", pretty sure those are the words I used, if not "Deceiving", into Japanese and bleeded them. Pretty ironic I used those words for a mischievous little guy. Totally nothing to do with him, of course not.

Kosei the Murkrow

Just wanted something to sound elegant for him, his name also came out of nowhere when naming him and I thought the sound suited him.

Zia the Blitzle

It was a funny yet exasperating experience naming her, I was translating lots of word and trying to figure out some sounds that might fit her.

Then my mind went "Zia, let's name her Zia", okay, why not? Zia it is.

Geryu the Tirtouga

I used the words "Rock" and "Flippers", can't remember the language I used tho.

Blueskee the Swablu

She was named after my Swablu I had in one of my playthroughts in Pokemon Emerald, I could have names her just "Bluesky", but I wanted the "ee" noise out of whim, I thought it made it sound cute.

Introducing my newest family, the 902's. The 902's household consist of Zia 902, and Noa 902!

Zia and Noa didn't always wish to leave their planet, they knew it was their home but they never really felt welcomed? It wasn't like their relationship was out of the ordinary or anything, but their goals didn't feel the same as everyone's.

Noa wanted a family, she aspired to be an artist and wanted to work on herself mainly. Traditional work wasn't something she enjoyed most of the time. It wasn't like people from her home planet didn't have families, of course they did, but their lives were always surrounded by work. They always worked on advancing their planet and becoming bigger and better. She remembers her family pushing her hard, and making sure she prioritized working over her dreams of painting, and collecting. She just couldn't stand seeing everyone around her fall into a cycle of working their lives away. She needed to escape.

Zia was a professional collector. She often went to Lucky Palms to collect useful materials for their planet. Their crew went to Lucky Palms for weeks at a time, working with the local scientist to benefit both of their planets. Zia liked working. She liked doing her missions. Her parents were extremely proud, they bragged to their friends about their daughter, how great she was, she couldn't do better in their eyes. She had achieved the life they wanted for her, so why did she feel so unhappy? What was missing?

Noa and Zia had been together for a while. Their relationship was strong and were together for a while before they had finally had enough. Their lives felt empty being on their home planet. Noa had painted every sight she had seen. She saw the pictures Zia brought home of Lucky Palms, it was beautiful. She wanted to paint every tree, every person. She wanted to fill a nursery with her paintings, and Zia's beautiful gems. Zia couldn't deny that her time in Lucky Palms was they happiest she had been in a while. The sun felt nice on her green skin. She also could easily imagine Noa and her building their own family, and allowing them to grow as their own. It wasn't an impossible task to do either. Lucky Palms welcomed aliens with open arms, and she could easily get a job at the science center.

I've ranted for so long xD but basically my girls packed that space-ship and dipped. Settled down in their little home and are ready to start their lives.

first and foremost, this muse and his abilities were inspired by paul atreides and the bene gesserit sisterhood from dune. with the difference that my muse isn't space jesus on drugs 💀

the word “charmspeak” is from rick riordan <33 

background summary:

he was born into a secretive cult of charmspeakers known as the hyeonmu order. this cult has existed since metahumans were first introduced to society and since then, they’ve been subtly influencing politics and society for their own gain

in the cult, members undergo strict training to perfect their tone, intonation, and emotional control

they practice extreme emotional discipline, like how to detach themselves from personal feelings to enhance the effectiveness of their charmspeak

all members have to swear an oath to keep the order’s existence and activities a secret (under penalty of severe consequences if they don’t keep their promise)

once the members’ abilities are fully developed, they are assigned to influential positions in society (some of them are even in the aeternal task force)

as he grew older, he became increasingly aware of how morally corrupt the order was and he also noticed that no one seemed to question their practices or motives

he even suspected that the order used mind control on its own members to maintain obedience and secrecy but it somehow didn’t work on him and that’s how he realized that, at some point, he obtained the (minor) ability to resist any form of mind control 

wow i feel like i’m just yapping and there’s still so much to say about his background??? 

anyway, i’ll try to keep it short: his mom is a high-ranking charmspeaker within the order and she’s quite respected for her abilities and her wisdom, but she does not have the highest position in the order, so she must still adhere to the rules and decisions of the order’s leadership

his relationship to her was always good <3 she always supported her son and recognized his potential but also his need for individuality

she advised him to leave and explore life outside the cult and find his own path and use his abilities for his own purposes, yadda yadda yadda 

she’s bad as hell ngl, she helped him build a new identity (surprise !! moon minjae is not his real name) to hide from the cult

WE’RE REACHING THE END GUYS, WE CHEERED !! so yeah with his mom’s help, he escaped the order at 19 and lived here and there and took odd jobs to survive

he only decided to move to silver line apartments a year ago because without the cult, he kinda missed the feeling of belonging and thought that he could find it in a community of metahumans (he’s also taking a risk by living there because the chances of the order finding him in 2cc is higher)

ok that’s it for the summary… i think? right now my boy is a security guard and wanders the halls during the night to keep trouble far away !! which is kinda easy for him, given his ability of persuasion <3

oh, and he’s still very cautious since his old cult is actively searching for him. BUT he’s very protective of his mom and would never reveal any of the order’s secrets to ensure her safety

he tends to keep to himself and rarely initiates conversations and often observes silently from the background

he has difficulties expressing his feelings openly since years of emotional discipline and control have made him somewhat detached

despite his quiet and reserved nature, he is friendly and polite when others treat him with kindness and respect 

and !! he tries his best !! he puts effort into adapting to his new life to build friendships, even if it’s challenging for him

and once he forms a bond, he is actually really loyal and protective of those he cares about

but at the end of the day he’s still a cult-raised charmspeaker, so if someone provokes or challenges him, he doesn’t hesitate to use his charmspeak ability to assert control and get what he wants ://

last but not least, he values privacy and discretion (both for himself and others), so he’s good in keeping secrets
