Hazel & Percy Headcanons

First of all, Percy calls Hazel his ‘Romie Homie’, which she secretly loves.

They’re both Harry Potter nerds.  Annabeth made Percy read the books so, he and Hazel constantly talk about it.

Percy thinks he’s a Gryffindor but, Hazel can’t help but think he’s a Hufflepuff.

Percy totally thinks that Hazel is a Hufflepuff and he loves her for it.

Just like everyone else, Hazel reads to Percy.  His favourite book for her to read is Charlotte’s Web because he likes Hazel’s soft voice and faint accent.

Percy sees Hazel as the cutest sister and introduces Hazel to Estelle, who become best friends quickly.

Percy gives Hazel piggy-back rides all the time because, she’s so small???? It’s adorable???

Percy loves to play with Hazel’s hands because, his fingers are so long and her fingers are so small and her hands are so delicate and soft and Percy loves it

Percy teaches Hazel how to skateboard and they ride to the library every week so that they can read after they get there.

Hazel’s hair is so curly and fun so, she lets Percy practice braiding for it so he can braid his sister’s hair at home.

Since Percy has insomnia, Hazel also sings Percy to sleep.  

Annabeth is sooooo grateful for this since she can’t sing

Hazel is terrible at video games but they play them anyway

Percy always gives Hazel forehead kisses and positive words because he wants to be a good example and role model on his “little sister”.

Bro Headcanons

After the war, Jason and Percy are constantly hanging out.  They do all sorts of bro activities.

Water sports, hiking, video games, wrestling, sparring, eating.  You think it, they probably do it!  It’s the best.

They have their own bro handshake that involves a bird call, smacks to the ass, and even the chicken dance.  It’s amazing.

Eventually, Percy starts inviting Grover to hang out with them whenever the boys are at Sally’s.

And so Jason meets Grover and they all start hanging out

Jason and Grover get like, hella close.  

They make their own handshake and go do things together

You’d think that Percy is third wheeled but, he’s not.  He loves that his two best friends are getting along and it makes him super happy.

HOO Character Headcanons

Thirteen answered... Okay so, here’s the thing.  I really love this.  Like, a lot holy crow.  But, I want to do more so, instead of being blind, imma give them all differences.  I love this AU, er mah gersh.

Percy Jackson was born deaf.  He’s fluent in ASL, along with his mom.  

When he meets Annabeth, he figures out that she doesn’t know American Sign Language, but Greek Sign Language instead.  This cause a bit of a communication barrier. 

Piper has a traumatic muteness and does not talk but still has the power of charmspeak, which is odd but really cool.

She was abused by her dad’s assistant and is now traumatically mute.  She may say something eventually but, probably not.

Jason Grace is blind.

This makes his friendship with Piper McLean and Percy Jackson extremely difficult but, he loves them none the less.

Nico di Angelo has autism. 

He’s Jason’s best friend and always makes sure that he’s good and not running into things.

He stims on his rubber necklace and wears his aviator Jacket because it’s not too rough.  He also loves Jason’s hair because it’s soft.

All of them work together really well and just, happy injured friends.

They’re literally the least-couply couple

They act like best friends and sometimes siblings and it’s just really weird.

Katie loves pulling pranks on Travis (esp. with Connor since he’s the prank brother) and it’s honestly the best thing to watch.

People will legitimately make popcorn and sit outside of the Hermes cabin, waiting for Travis to run out with whipped cream on his face and half his hair on fire.

Travis knows that Katie hates when he buys her flowers so, he learns how to make paper roses and gives a bouquet with old Christmas paper to Katie every week.

Will Solace is the worst morning person.

Anytime something goes wrong, “Houston, we have a problem.”

He constantly blows peoples minds with how much he knows about space.

But it can also be really annoying when he’s constantly reminding you, “All of space is silent so, no one can hear you scream.”

He is so Texan, it hurts.  It’s disgusting, he can dance and ride bulls and uses stupid slang and it’s just really terrible.

Nico loves it, of course.

Will is really into Magic The Gathering and will spend hours trying to teach Nico but,

soft Jercy headcanons

Soft boyfriends

Athletic boyfriends who honestly do everything together.  They go on morning runs together, go to crossfit, love hiking, swim laps across the lake, everything.  As soon as they have kids, they’re strapping them across their chests and doing pull ups and running four miles and doing everything that makes all the soccer moms honk their van horns.

They give each other haircuts but, when Jason’s cutting Percy’s hair, it always takes too long because Jason likes running his hands through Percy’s hair.

Jason reads to Percy because the son of Poseidon has a hard time reading and when he does, he always does different voices for different characters because he’s a dork.

Jason gives Percy piggyback rides whenever he’s too lazy to walk (which is 80% of the time)

Singing to Taylor Swift at two in the morning in the kitchen in just their boxers while making blue brownies.

Jason brings Percy to the aquarium all the time because Percy’s really cute when he just stares at fish.

Percy does the same with Jason and the Space Center because his boyfriend is an astronomy nerd.

They love holding hands and neither one ever cares if the hand is sweaty because they’re nervous because TBH, both are always nervous, giggly, and giddy around each other.

Hugs from Percy are the best because they were warm and comfortable and he just kinda holds Jason.

When they dance in the middle of the night, Jason just kisses Percy’s forehead and then Percy blushes and accidentally steps on Jason’s foot but, that’s okay.

When Jason doesn’t hold Percy’s hand, Percy gives the cutest pout and Jason just rolls his eyes and grabs Percy’s hand

They could talk about nothing for hours

When Jason leaves to help out in New Rome, Percy wears Jason’s shirts around the house and makes brownies and watches all of Jason’s favourite movies.

The boys hike up and have a campfire at the top and Percy brings his ukulele and plays and he and Jason both sing to the cutesy songs and giggle and then make out under the stars.

Jason buys Percy roses literally all the time because he loves his boyfriend and is a doRKKKK

Percy literally LOVES whales so, for Valentine’s day, Jason brings him to sea world but, that fails because the entire time, Percy’s screaming from the bleachers, ‘SAVE THE ORCAS’.

They resolve for buying a Shamu plushie in the gift shop and going home.

Percy is the biggest musical theatre nerd so, when Kinky Boots is on Broadway, Jason takes Percy to see it for his birthday

Percy also loves Panic! At The Disco and Brendon Urie so, double win.

The nerds own every Marvel and DC movie and have their bedroom full of posters of Spiderman, Wonder Woman, and the Avengers.

For Percy’s first tattoo, he puts up the tough act but, when they get there, Jason’s holding his hand the entire time and whispering to him how good he’s doing and how it’s almost over.

When they get home from the parlor, they cuddle on the couch and Jason kisses the tattoo.

Percy hates coffee and when Jason learns this, he stops drinking it because he knows that Percy doesn’t like tasting it when they kiss.

The amount of times that Jason has smacked Percy on the butt with a whisk, spatula, etc.

Stargazing boyfriends, omg.

Percy falls asleep everywhere so, Jason is always giving him piggy back rides.  That’s the other 20% of Percy’s’ transportation is Jason.

Percy loves Jason’s dimples and always kisses them when Jason’s sad so that he smiles and shows them more.

Percy’s obsession with chunky peanut butter has become a problem and so, when Jason goes shopping, he doesn’t even buy peanut butter because otherwise Percy will complain that it’s smooth.

Jason buys all the groceries but Percy decorated the apartment and it looks really nice.

Ship Headcanons - (Percy & Rachel)

Percy Jackson: Shipped with Jason Grace, Will Solace, Nico di Angelo, Annabeth Chase, and Piper McLean (lol)

Percy and Jason are very soft boyfriends.  Although yes, they can be rough or rude or ‘bros’, they’re mostly soft.  They love tea and cuddling and kissing scraped knees and bingeing entire seasons in one night.

Jason has really bad anxiety and Percy has panic disorder and terrible PTSD so, they help each other out when someone has an attack.  If they wake up from a nightmare, it’s the two sitting in the kitchen, making a cup of tea and then dancing to their small radio that only plays the indie station.

Percy teaches Will to skateboard and they go to the skate park every Saturday so that he can teach Will tricks. 

Will always has band-aids and patches Percy up.  But, he secretly loves when he falls and scrapes his hands really bad so that Percy will wash them, put a band-aid on them, and then kiss them over and over.

Nico only takes hugs from Percy if they come from behind.  He’ll make sure that Percy’s long arms wrap around him and hold him close, Percy’s chin resting on his shoulder.

Nico and Percy go on frequent park dates and have picnics.  Nico makes PB&J sandwiches and sometimes they invite Tyson and Ella to join them.  Nico also really loves Percy’s little sister and babysitting her so, they take her too.

Annabeth and Percy have four kids together, all of which are water benders and cause chaos in the household.  Annabeth is constantly stressed about giving the kids a bath but, it makes the gardening easier.

Annie and Percy go to the Aquarium at least once a month because Annabeth knows that Percy just never gets tired of all the fish and wildlife.

Piper and Percy started out as friends who hung out a lot, friends who cuddled, friends who shared drinks and beds, friends who kissed cheeks, all platonic things but, their relationship just- it just kinda started.  They don’t know when but, they just started dating and making their ‘platonic things’ normal.

Athletic Couple is their thing.  They go on hikes, jogging, swimming, crossfit.  Piper’s instagram is filled with videos of Percy benching 300 pounds, wiping out on his skateboard, or hitting Jason directly in the face while at the pool and then laughing so hard, water comes out of his nose.  Her Instagram bio is, I live for the moments Percy falls off his skateboard.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare: Shipped with....  Erm, again, I don’t really ship her with anyone.  I’m willing to tell you headcanons about how her and Piper would be beST FRIENDS THO.

They become friends after Camp Half-Blood opens up their crafts pavilion again and they all attend and sit by each other.  They start making dreamcatchers because Piper wanted to and Rachel brings up the topic of art and her entire collection of Cherokee art, which Piper totally wants to see.

Rachel wants to be more authentic in her art so, she invites Piper to her place where they all talk about it because, Piper knows more about art than you’d think????

Piper and Rachel bond over having rich families and parents. 

Piper introduces Rachel to new alternatives of mediums or her art.  Also, skateboarding.

Piper loves to play with Rachel’s hair because it’s so curly and fun???

Rachel is in love with Piper’s eyes because they change colour and so, she spends an entire day just making an animation almost of how much Piper’s eyes change colour during a ten minute period, which is actually a lot.

They talk about Percy and what a Seaweed Brain he is, also talking about how much they love Annabeth because she’s amazing.

The two girls over all are artsy best friends who do everything together and shop and paint and sleepover and gossip and just- teenage besties.

Ship Headcanons - (Lance & Pidge|Katie)

Lance McClain: Shipped with Keith Kogane

Although not very domestic by first glance, Klance is very domestic in grace and beauty of whacking each other with bags of toilet paper and shrieking unholy things while chasing each other around the apartment.

When sitting together on the couch, Lance always lays his legs across Keith’s lap/stomach/etc. letting Keith rest his hands on Lance’s ankles.

Weekly facials

Lance bakes Keith ‘sad cookies’ when Keith is in a bad mood.  The two boys eat all 40 cookies by themselves and then Keith feels better.

Lance tans, Keith burns (real bad)

For their ten year anniversary, Lance bought 100 red roses, left them on Keith’s porch and then proceeded to serenade him through the window with the song, “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.

Star Wars movie marathons, Lord of the Rings movie marathons, Marvel movie marathons, etc.  They’re dorks.

Comic Con is frequent, Keith has cosplayed as every single one of the Avengers, all the PowerRangers, eight different Star Wars characters, and plenty of different Adventure Time royalty.  

Lance just cosplays as Finn from Adventure Time every year.

They attend an annual Zombie Survival 1/2 Marathon and run the entire thing because #athleticboyfriends

Pidge Gunderson | Katie Holt: Shipped with...  Uhm...  I- I don’t really know...  Whoever, I guess.

Pidge is really great at giving back massages and does that with her SO frequently.

She and her SO love to go with Klance to Comic Con but, she doesn’t cosplay.  She just buys everything.  Pidge is saving up all year to buy whatever she wants at Comic Cons.

Video Games are a must in the relationship so, all the Kingdom Hearts games are owned, all the Uncharted games, and every single MarioKart ever created.

Pidge has a sailor’s mouth, which requires a ‘Swear Jar’ in their household.  Her SO crashed their car so, they paid for a new one with only the contents in the ‘Swear Jar’.

“Spaghetti belongs on a plate.  If you’re using a bowl, you’re a f**cking child.”

Movie collector, CD collector, video game collector, poster collector, collects all nerdy things because PidgexSO is so dorky.

Their favourite movie is Big Hero Six because it’s just really adorable.

They hate romance flicks because they’re cheesy and decided to willingly give all of the movies to Klance because, why not?

They both placed bets on when Klance would get laid and both lost because the boys took four years longer than any bet.

Matt Holt’s Return (headcanon/theory)

So, Pidge finally finds Matt.  It took forever but she finally finds him, etc.  She’s excited, I mean, I would be too.  This is her older brother, possibly her older role model, someone who she’s looked up to for ages and learned a lot of things from.

She meets Matt for the first time again but this time, it’s not all fireworks like she thought it would.  He’s colder, harder, almost difficult to be around.  You can tell he has a temper and is impatient and can’t really take a bunch of stress.  He’s kinda excited to see her but it’s more of a thank you for saving his ass.

She finds him in the heat of battle and when they’re back on the Castle for dinner, he doesn’t speak with her, only Shiro and Allura, who are discussing battle plans.

So, Pidge is like, ‘Hey, Matt, it’s been a WHILE.’

And Matt isn’t taking it.  He sets down his fork and glances at Pidge, glaring almost.  “Katie, not now.  We’re busy planning.”

And Pidge is completely awed at the ass that her brother has become.  What do you mean he’s not her amazing older brother??  What do you mean that Matt Holt isn’t supportive and things?  What do you mean Matt pushes his little sister away?

He spends all night fighting with her and patronising her, talking to her like a child because he can’t see she’s responsible.

“Matt! I’m a paladin of Voltron!  I pilot a lion!  I was the one who rescued you!  By myself!”  

Pidge deserves to have an opinion and she can’t handle that her own brother is calling her a child, her own brother is calling her out to not be able to take care of herself.

Pidge totally isn’t a child anymore but, Matt can’t see that.

This stirs up conflict between the rest of the paladins, especially Keith because, he gets it.  He’s been chastised before and silenced in his opinion.  He gets that Katie isn’t a kid.

Hunk and Lance are also mildly upset because, Pidge the best damn hacker in the entire room.  She could hack into anything, fix anything, program your door to open if you sing, program lunch to be served at your beside, all that.  Pidge is amazing.

But overall, Shiro is the most upset.  Over the time he’s been in space with Voltron, learning more about each of the paladins, he gets it.  He gets their struggles and everything that they’re going through.  He gets the struggle that Katie wants to be seen as a strong member of Voltron, a paladin.  And he own brother crushed it under his boot because he’s ‘older and wiser’.

If something like this ever DID happen, it would just show that age doesn’t matter when your life is on the line.  It also shows the perception or close-mindedness of someone like Matt, who finally broke and put up walls.

If Katie is older, if she’s responsible, Matt doesn’t have to be an older brother anymore.  He doesn’t have to protect his little sister because she can obviously do that herself.  Anything that kept him alive in that cell, the thought of making sure that Katie was okay, vanished because, she’s obviously very fine.

That’s why Matt’s character would be so evil in a sense.  Because he ran out of purpose.
