Flowers Compassion An act of love Flowers grew in the darkest part of me Compassion nurtured them and watered them The vessel in which they grew soon became too small They overflowed like creepy crawlers ranking Onto everything It grew They invaded a dark place Made it light Made it home Spring time came Red blooms Throughout summer they still reigned Of course with compassion As Autumn came Things changed Compassion seized to exist And so did the flowers The vessel became dark Returned to its dormant state Awaiting a new season ? The fact that females of various ages are unsafe in their own neighbourhood,own homes and even at school arises much concern and most definitely a huge issue with our justice system and even more so the state of people (like how do you bring yourself to rape someone ?) If you still think this doesn't affect you because your neighbourhood is "safe" , think about those who are to come after you and the life we're leaving behind for them . We've all lost someone (mother ,father ,partner or even close friend ) who we depended on . They may have left either emotionally or physically , but leaving is a form of abandonment and it scars for life . Especially those who just leave without explaining why . We may hate them for their choice ,but by doing so we destroy ourselves and this should not be the case . Do not pay the price of your happiness for another person's betrayal. Learn to forgive .
