Hi! Thanks for your question. Next chapter will be up this weekend! Should have been up last weekend, but the Muse's fuckery continues to linger. ppl are always saying "Cas fell in love with a bug" or "Cas fell in love with a frog" or whatever but it's weirder than that. Cas is a 4 dimensional being. Dean is 3 dimensional. Cas fell in love with a fucking painting with a bad attitude.

I do enjoy Dean getting initially twitchy and weird over fake dating Cas for a case and being super awkward with it BUT I also love the idea(and actually find it to be a bit more canon) of him immediately falling into the role perfectly and Cas being the awkward one. Because Deans a romantic at heart and if he’s gonna play a role he’s gonna play it. He goes full romcom. Pet names just rolling off the tongue and pda becomes instant second nature. He’s slapping his ass and slipping his arm around his waist while Cas is stiff as a statue. He manually puts Cas’ hand into his back pocket while they’re walking like “cmon man we gotta sell it!” He plants a kiss on wide eyed Cas’ cheek and manages to not blush until he’s rounded the corner while Cas bluescreens. Hes got their hands intertwined every chance he gets. Cas eventually catches up and when hes the one to initiate that’s when Dean loses every bit of cool he had. Cas calls him pet names and he instantly chokes on his own tongue. Cas slides his hand into Deans back pocket like he told him to and Dean almost jumps out of his skin. Cas kisses him and you can almost see the smoke pouring out of his ears. He can dish it out but he can’t take it

Gyah, the chapter isn't making it up this weekend 😭. Sorry everyone! I went camping to get my dogs away from the fireworks and forgot to offline the chapter so I could edit it 🤦. No problem, I thought, I'll edit it when I get back on Sunday! No, nope, not so much, that's not what happened. What happened was Napping, with a capital N. Many, many hours of it.

We shall try again next weekend! That way I'll have some more opportunities to stress edit it 😅🤦

I'm Back!! (Mostly)

Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, I'M WRITING AGAIN!!!

After the worst, unexpected, last minute turnaround the Muse has ever put me through (and again, damnit, she was right to do it, I just wasn't *ready*) I am BACK! And it only took me five months to sort -_- Posting won't resume just yet, I'm afraid. I need to get a little stockpile going in case this resolution is short lived (🤞🤞🤞🤞 that it's not) But I can at least say that I'm writing again, I've gotten past the worst of the rut, and I have lots of fun stuff to get through before I have to confront the next potential hangup. SO BRING IT ON!

This would be a good opportunity, if you have the time, to reread Season 3 (all three chapters of it <.<) as a re-read really will be necessary once I get posting again (hopefully in a couple of weeks or so)

TRSF (tta) Delay Update

Hello, all! For those of you following The Road So Far (This Time Around), apologies for disappearing on you all. I promsie, the story is still ongoing, I've just hit a couple snags. The majority of them are RL related, as the craziness of 2025 continues. This week's episode involves a new foster dog! Which is wonderful(ly chaotic 😂). The Muse also did me dirty, turning some plans on their head, then throwing a huge number of blueprints out the window (after setting them on fire). To finish it off, she walked right back out of the crisis *she* created, leaving me to, uh... Well, let's be honest. Bury my head in the sand and pretend it wasn't happening. So, yeah, liiiiiiiiittle bit behind on that whole writing thing. I will need some time to pull it all back together (translation: drag the Muse back in, kicking and screaming), but we will resume posting as soon as I do!

P.S. You all will love the crisis she created. It involves entirely around the Destiel pairing and, while *I* sure want to murder her for it, I'm going to be too busy accepting my beer back from Jane Austen 🤦‍♀️ It's going to be *so* warm by now 🙄
