Hiya everyone! After a painful, bitter, exhausting six month battle (insert a lot of grumbling at the Muse here, who never effing came back to help -_-) posting will resume NEXT WEEKEND! Please take this week, if able, to re-read at least Chapter 144 (Season 3: Chapter 3) and 145 (Season 3: Chapter 4) since it's been such a long time. See you all soon! 😁

I'm Back!! (Mostly)

Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, I'M WRITING AGAIN!!!

After the worst, unexpected, last minute turnaround the Muse has ever put me through (and again, damnit, she was right to do it, I just wasn't *ready*) I am BACK! And it only took me five months to sort -_- Posting won't resume just yet, I'm afraid. I need to get a little stockpile going in case this resolution is short lived (🤞🤞🤞🤞 that it's not) But I can at least say that I'm writing again, I've gotten past the worst of the rut, and I have lots of fun stuff to get through before I have to confront the next potential hangup. SO BRING IT ON!

This would be a good opportunity, if you have the time, to reread Season 3 (all three chapters of it <.<) as a re-read really will be necessary once I get posting again (hopefully in a couple of weeks or so)

TRSF (tta) Delay Update

Hello, all! For those of you following The Road So Far (This Time Around), apologies for disappearing on you all. I promsie, the story is still ongoing, I've just hit a couple snags. The majority of them are RL related, as the craziness of 2025 continues. This week's episode involves a new foster dog! Which is wonderful(ly chaotic 😂). The Muse also did me dirty, turning some plans on their head, then throwing a huge number of blueprints out the window (after setting them on fire). To finish it off, she walked right back out of the crisis *she* created, leaving me to, uh... Well, let's be honest. Bury my head in the sand and pretend it wasn't happening. So, yeah, liiiiiiiiittle bit behind on that whole writing thing. I will need some time to pull it all back together (translation: drag the Muse back in, kicking and screaming), but we will resume posting as soon as I do!

P.S. You all will love the crisis she created. It involves entirely around the Destiel pairing and, while *I* sure want to murder her for it, I'm going to be too busy accepting my beer back from Jane Austen 🤦‍♀️ It's going to be *so* warm by now 🙄

  Yes, you are welcome to print the story and bind it! I recommend separating by season (although I haver no idea if season 2 can even fit in one book 🤦‍♀️)  If you are not in a rush, we are currently undergoing an editing overhaul to address errors throughout the story.  I have no idea when it will be complete (probably another 6+ months, as I am hoping to also release a podfic version at the same time) but I will make an announcement (on AO3, tumblr, and discord) once the story has been updated with these changes.  If you don’t want to wait, feel free to print beforehand. Username Switch

So it occured to me that my name on tumblr should probably be the same as AO3, and that when I first joined on here the goal was to make a blog for TRSF. I did not realize that naming the blog would also be my username. 🤦‍♀️ I'm such a granny when it comes to this stuff 🤣 Anyhoo, username has been changed to reflect the one on AO3 and ff.net and discord and etc, etc, etc (this 35-year-old-Granny can not keep track of all the sites out there 😵‍💫) Cheers!

I always pictured Castiel to be the sad accepting type of jealous lover

Like, he gets jealous, but he doesn't act on it. He kinda just sits, stares, and looks on longingly, wishing it were him

Imagine with me:

Dean tries to make Cas' jealous, wanting that fun lil spice in their relationship. Wanting to see if Cas is gonna act on it and be all possessive

He does the smallest thing. They're at a bar and Dean just winks and nods at the pretty bartender who sends back her own flirtatious lil look

Dean turns to Cas, hoping to find his (they're in the dating stage) boyfriend looking fierce and angry

And he immediately panics cause Cas is giving him the biggest, saddest eyes known to man

Big blue and glassy. Like he's gonna cry but it's the type of cry of someone who's accepted they've lost

And Dean immediately goes to rectify his failure. Just ditches the bar entirely. Takes Cas out star gazing and showers him in love. Cause that look? That sad, forlorn look that ripped his heart out of his chest?

Dean is gonna dedicate his entire life to make sure Cas never looks that way again
