thank you all SO MUCH for joining me on this wild ride. i've already started a new game and am taking even more screenshots lol. i'll probably publish things i missed and tack them onto this post as i find them. if you have not already, PLEASE play this game. it is such a beautifully tragic story about loss and is told in such an elegant way.

and this is the end of my screenshots!! hope you all enjoyed following my journey through my first run of this game. final thoughts:

this game is a goddamn MASTERPIECE. the gorgeous graphics, the beautiful character models, the eloquent dialogue, and the tragically relatable story have made the game SKYROCKET to the top of my favorites. i truly felt for and fell in love with every single character. i cried more than i ever have at a game, and laughed about the same amount. the mechanics were a fucking dream to learn. as someone who is Bad at Videogames, playing turn-based systems is much easier on my brain. and even though it’s more strategy based, there’s a shit ton of quick reactions needed in combat. it actually improved my reflexes irl lmao

all in all, this game is one of the best i’ve ever played or seen. every single developer, voice actor, writer, animator, and anyone else who contributed to this masterpiece need awards. if you have not played yet, i HIGHLY encourage you to give it a try. it might just surprise you.

big ol boss fight time. i accidentally made this whole fight way too easy by getting to level 75 before heading back to lumière. oops
