Whumpers who kidnap a normal person with the intention of "fake torture interrogation".

The whumpers know for a fact that Whumpee isn't a part of any illegal activity, but they're going to treat them as if they were anyway. 

They torture Whumpee, asking them questions about a fake rival gang or other “important things” that Whumpee doesn’t know about.

They keep going, just to see how long it takes for Wumpee to start lying and giving bullshit answers to get a break from the pain. 

Once that goal is achieved, the whumpers start pretending like some of Whumpee's lies and bullshit mean something. 

For example, Whumpee gives an address for a warehouse and the whumpers act as if that is the actual location of a warehouse that this fake gang owns. 

But of course, some of the “information” the whumpers have to call bullshit, and Whumpee gets hurt more. Slowly sort of gaslighting the whumpee into questioning themself, because "clearly" they know things about this gang they've never heard of, but they don't know how they know these things.

Whumper was expressionless as they opened the front door, but that slowly turned into a fond smirk as they looked over Whumpee, whose own eyes were on the floor and filled with shame.

"You realized you couldn't live on your own, didn't you?"

Whumpee gave a single nod in response.

Whumper reached out and cupped Whumpee's cheek, they were gentle as they stroked it with their thumb.

"Good. Maybe this time around you'll behave."

Got caught trying to escape by your captor? Gaslight them!

"And where do you think you're goin-"

"Oh my god, Whumper, I've been looking for you everywhere!!"

"...What?"

"You had me worried sick!! Do not make me worry like that again, Whumper. Do you realize how hard it was to get out of those chains?? Do you?? I scraped up my hands getting out of them!! Do you have any idea what could have happened if I hadn't gotten out?? I could have died from worry and it would have been all your fault!!"

"......Huh?"

"I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed."

Robotic whumpee glitching instead of stammering.

Their arm getting damaged so their elbow keeps glitching open and closed over and over again.

Them having the knowledge of different ways of communication - different spoken languages, mores code, sign language, etc - and frantically trying to use them in order to beg for the mercy of a complete stranger.

Robotic Whumper not understanding/caring that living beings feel pain differently than them.

Robotic Caretaker having been damaged to the point of not being able to remember all the ways to take care of someone.

I had to double-take, but that definitely looks like Whumpee from across the street. 

Why are they here? They’re supposed to be at home. 

This isn’t home, this is downtown. 

What the hell?

Did they run?

How did they get out of the house?

Whatever. I’m just going to cross the street, follow them to a more secluded place, and then take them back home.

..They’re walking faster.

They’re glancing back at me and putting their hood up. They know I’ve found them. They’re more stupid than I thought if they think they can lose me like this. 

Whumpee, you idiot. That alley is a dead end, but of course, you’d know that wouldn’t you? Is it the guilt of running or is it the panic of getting caught that is getting you all turned around?

Regardless, I'm here now. They're trapped. I hope they had fun on their little walk because they won't be able to walk for some time after this.

Gotcha by the arm now. Pulling them closer to me and taking off that damn hood so I can- 

…Ah. …This isn’t Whumpee. …The differences are more apparent up close.  

…Sigh. 

Can’t let them go now.

A siren who has managed to gain human legs. Siren slips into the music business. Instant success. Gains a whole ton of adoring fans.

Maybe Siren is a whumper who likes to toy with some of their new fans. There's always an unlimited amount of fans willing to do anything for them, why not take one of them home? Whumper has to eat after all.

And even if Whumpee escapes no one would believe them that Siren is bad or tried to hurt and kill them. Siren's so great! How could someone so popular be bad?

Siren turning into a Whumperee. Surely a supernatural hunter is going to pick up on the signs of this person being a siren pretty quick. Hunter should probably take care of this Siren problem before it gets more out of hand than it already has.

Might want to hurry with getting rid of Siren. We wouldn't want the general public getting withdrawals from being exposed to Siren's song for too long.

Bonuses:

Maybe Whumpee thinks Serial Killer is someone who is there to rescue them. Cue them sobbing and thanking Serial Killer for rescuing them after all this time.

Maybe Serial Killer decides to bring Whumpee home and help them become a functioning person again. All with the goal of watching the look of horrified betrayal on Whumpee's face when they finally deem Whumpee "healthy enough to kill".

Vampire pirate who feeds on their human crew.

Maybe their crew didn't have a choice about joining them.

Perhaps when the pirates capture a ship the captain samples each of the captured sailors. The ones who taste good are added to their crew and the rest are slaughtered. Or maybe they're sold off at the nearest port.

Of course, this vampirate makes sure their crew is well-fed and taken care of. They can't have scurvy or other illnesses and ailments ruining their collection of hard-working blood bags.

However, keeping people alive doesn't mean they can't or won't get hurt for acting out. You can't have your crew plotting to kill you after they start to think you're getting weak and soft, now can you?

Who would a vampire such as this entrust to be their first mate? Who could this vampire trust to watch over their crew during the day while they sleep?

Supervillain watches Superhero's boring speech over the large screen in their confrence room, an attempt to reason with the master criminal.

As they listen to the seemingly endless rambling, a trembling person comes on screen and serves Superhero tea.

It takes a moment for Supervillain to recognise who they are, but when they do their heart nearly stops.

Villain has been missing for a year now, they had disappeared without a trace, seemingly vanished into thin air, and yet there they were, in Superhero's base.

Their hair has been cut, their exposed skin is littered with cuts, bruises and scars, and the confident smirk that had plagued the city for years has now been replaced with barely hidden fear.

“P-Please! I haven’t killed anyone!” The fledgling vampire cried, cowering in the corner. Their eyes were wide as they searched for a way out, the pair of hunters slowly coming closer. “T-They turned me against my will! P-Please!”

“Guilty by association,” The first hunter said, uncaring of the other’s explanation. “A leech is still a leech.”

Meanwhile, the second hunter was starting to have some doubts about all of this.
