being a girl is really hard these days. i've to constantly remind myself that i'm not missing out if i'm not buying whatever plastic these influencers are selling, that i don't have to fit and cage myself into a certain aesthetic, that i don't have to put makeup and take curated pictures to post on social media just because the girls on my feed are doing so, that if i ever walk into an interview my so called aesthetic instagram feed won't walk in with me and it'll be me and my brain, that instead of consuming content which will make me feel empty inside i can choose to educate myself on things i don't know about but always wanted to, that romantic love isn't the only kind of love, that it doesn't mean i'm not living life if i don't have a partner

always improve yourself but don't fall for the glow up trap. you'll end up with multiple plastics that'll make you feel lifeless and an empty bank account. save yourself from becoming their product.
