Masterlist of Alternate Universes
Alternate Universe (also known as alternate reality), is commonly abbreviated as AU and it is a descriptor used to characterize fanworks which change one or more elements of the source work’s canon (such as the setting, characterization, etc.). The term most often refers to fanfiction, but fanart can also depicted the characters in AUs.
This post is simply listing down all of the Alternate Universes. Majority of them are self-explanatory, but if you still want an explanation than click HERE which goes into detail with each one. It’s also the finalized version, which is up-to-date unlike the old post that people have been reblogging.

List Of Alternate Universes
Alternate Universe (also known as alternate reality), is commonly abbreviated as AU and it is a descriptor used to characterize fanworks which change one or more elements of the source work’s canon. The term most often refers to fanfiction, but fanart can also depicted the characters in AUs.
Unlike regular fanfiction, which generally remains within the boundaries of the canon set out by the author, alternate universe fiction writers like to explore the possibilities of pivotal changes made to characters’ history, motivations, or environment.

Our Japanese class found it funny that in common terminology "food" isn't very distinguished from specifically "rice" until it was pointed out to us that in English "meal" is "loose roughly ground grain"

James: Today I realized I am old.
Regulus: What do you mean?
James: I fell over at the park today with Harry, and instead of laughing he ran over to see if I was okay.
Regulus:
James: I saw fear in his eyes.

So writers joke a lot about "drinking the tears of our readers", but I want to be so honest with you when I tell you that making you cry isn't our real goal. Making you feel is.
Kicking your feet? Giggling? Can't stop smiling? And yes, crying? Feeling anything, everything. That's our goal. That means we did The Job.

“Damn cobwebs just have to be right out of reach.” You thought to yourself as you stood in the hall, standing on tiptoe, trying to reach with your wand to flick away the pesky, dusty cobwebs that hung, now abandoned in the far corner near the doorway of arching your back for the fourth time today as the weight of the child growing in your womb pulled on the tight muscles in your lower back, making it ache. You tensed up a little when you felt a pair of strong hands support your back and a pair of lips place a kiss on your shoulder. You let out a sigh and melted into the person’s touch, knowing that the person embracing you was your Beta mate, Regulus, who had voted to stay home with you while James went to work.
“You should be resting, Y/n. Kreacher is more than capable of clearing any cobwebs that you find bothersome. Your lower back is tight, and it's straining on the pup, love.” Regulus spoke as he guided you to sit in the kitchen and make you a cup of tea. “It's not the same when he cleans. I need to physically clean that item myself, or it's not good enough for our pup.” You spoke, resting your hands on your bump, watching your mate boil water with a flick of his wand.
“I know, my love. Maybe directing myself or Kreacher to the things that need to be cleaned while you rest and work on growing our baby may suffice?” Regulus suggested, his voice showing concern as he poured the boiling water into your cup and let the leaves steep.
“I feel like I need to do those things myself, Regulus. I shouldn’t be resting. I need to make dinner and finish cleaning the front hall.” You protested, trying to stand up to finish the tasks you wanted to get done. Regulus couldn’t stop you from doing something you set your mind to. He learned that back in his school days, when the two of you would follow each other around, spending time together. Back to when the two of you both ended up in Slytherin, falling in love and ending up together with James as your Alpha and shared lover.
You waddled back to the front hall, just as James came through the door, carrying his briefcase that transfigured into his broom when he stepped across the threshold of No. 12 Grimmauld Place. His eyes landed on both his mates, a small smile spreading across his lips as he walked over, greeting Regulus first before letting out an amused chuckle as he walked over to help you relax. “Darling, you should be resting, not trying to remove old cobwebs that have been sitting there for half a century,” James said as he guided your hands down and put your wand back in its holster at your hip.
“You should let Regulus, Kreacher, or even me help you with your nesting habits, Y/n. You’re doing enough work as it is.” James says as he puts his hands on your bump, pressing a kiss to the side of your cheek. James helped you into the living room and guided you into the couch, pulling your feet into his lap, taking your slippers off, and massaging your feet and ankles. “Tell me how your day went and I’ll tell you how mine went, okay? Let Regulus, Kreacher, and I take care of dinner. You tell us what you want to make, and you can help direct us where you want us in the kitchen.” James spoke, knowing you still wanted some control even during the demanding time of your pregnancy. You folded your arms over the curve of your bump and sighed drastically. “Fine.” You spoke in a dramatic, exasperated tone as James’ calloused fingers worked at your swollen, aching joints. “I swear they resemble grapefruits now.” You exaggerated as he kneaded your aching legs.
“No, they haven’t, love. They’re a little swollen, but not big like grapefruits. Remember what the Mediwitch said at the last appointment? This is normal, and your body is adjusting to carrying our son.” Regulus spoke as he carried a silver tray with a teapot and three cups on it, and a small plate of scones that Kreacher had freshly baked. You took a scone and let Regulus fill your cup with tea before handing it to you. “I know all the changes my body is going through, Regulus. All the fatigue, nausea, weight gain, change in clothes as my body grows, the heartburn, and 3 am cravings that you and James so graciously fulfill. I am well aware of the ‘adjustments’ my body has made in the past five months, Regulus Black.” You spoke, sipping your tea, and taking bites of your scone, watching Regulus as he served James some tea and a scone before giving himself one, and sitting in a chair near you so you could still talk with him and James. James continued to massage your feet and legs, working his way up to your calves and under your knees. You leaned on the back of the couch as you kept your legs in his lap, watching his hands work their magic on your aches and pains.
“How was work today?” You asked James, who had paused his massaging to eat a scone lathered with cream and jam. “It was great. My team and I went to a local Quidditch Pitch to teach some young witches and wizards about Quidditch and how to fly on brooms. The whole experience was amazing and a bit silly to see the older kids chase each other near the ground.” James spoke as he ate a second scone, this time with lemon curd on it.
“James! Don’t eat too much, you’ll spoil your appetite for dinner. Kreacher is making spaghetti with turkey meatballs. I made sure he won’t heavily spice the meat and sauce so Y/n won’t get sick. Only the good spices to help with her nausea.” Regulus spoke as he swatted James’s hand away from the plate of remaining scones. “Regulus is right, James. You have been eating a lot more.  Why have you been doing this?” You asked as you propped your head up on your fist. “I may have been sneaking other snacks or second helpings when you and Regulus aren’t looking,” James said with a sheepish grin on his face.
“Why are you doing this? Won’t it affect how you fly in Quidditch?” Regulus asked, glancing at you before looking back to his husband who now had a slight curve of James’ stomach poking through his shirt. It wasn’t as big as your bump, but it was significant. “James, you’re almost as big as me, and you’re not the one carrying a pound of baby inside of you.” You told him as you eyed his stomach. “I know I shouldn’t be getting fat, but I can’t help it. It's sympathy weight for you since I know you complain about your aches and pains. I figured you shouldn’t be gaining weight on your own.” James spoke as he lay between your legs and looked into your eyes, placing gentle kisses on your bump.
“I wanted to support you in any way I could, Y/n, since Regulus and I can’t carry like you can. Also, Regulus didn’t want to gain weight, so I volunteered to put on the sympathy weight. I’ll work it off after our little one is born. I love you and our son so much. I’d do anything to help you feel supported, my love.” He spoke and placed another kiss on your bump before he began speaking to your son, who was moving around inside of you. “Hello, little one, this is your dad speaking. You are so loved, little one. So very loved. Outside the world is so big, little one. I can’t wait to show you how our world works. Your mother is doing such a good job at helping you grow all big and strong. She’s even cleaned the place up so well, there’s not a speck of dust anywhere. I bet Grimmauld Place, your home when you’re ready to come out, hasn’t been this clean in a century. You just rest and grow all big and strong now. Your mother is looking sleepy and might need another nap before dinner is ready. I think you’ll love it. Our house elf, Kreacher, is making something the Muggles call ‘spaghetti and meatballs’, it's an Italian dish, and your mom’s stomach can handle it for now. Kreacher has made this before, and you loved it last time. I hope you like the food this time too. If not, I’m sure Kreacher will make you whatever you make your mother crave. Just try to make her crave it before midnight this time. Your uncle and I need sleep, little one. Can we agree on that? If I’m right, your mother will crave an American dish that the Muggles call ‘mac and cheese.’ Your mother has been craving it enough that I’m afraid you’ll come out tinged bright orange like the powder that comes in the box.  Let’s hope Kreacher makes enough, or your mother will make me or your other father, Regulus, get up in the middle of the night to make several batches of the stuff.” James said to the fetus in your womb, making you chuckle with a smile on your face.
“You know I can’t help it when I get a craving in the middle of the night. I wouldn’t wake either of you, but you two insist on making sure I rest.” You spoke, pouting a little. “I swear you’ll eat enough to make our child part mac and cheese,” James said and placed more gentle kisses on your stomach. “I think our baby will still be human, James.” You spoke as the house elf came into the living room to inform the three of you that dinner was ready. James and Regulus got up, moving to either side of you and helping you stand to your feet, putting their hands on your lower back to guide you into the kitchen, where the long dining table was.  Once settled between your mates, you began piling on pasta, ladling sauce on the side of the pasta, and adding six meatballs onto your plate before digging in, holding back slightly as the food was very good. James put his hand on your thigh. “Stop holding back and eat up. I know how hungry you are. Feed our child, Y/n.” James spoke. You didn’t need to be told again as you lifted your plate to your mouth and guided the pasta, meatballs, and sauce into your mouth, inhaling it hungrily as it filled your stomach. James and Regulus both leaned back in their seats and watched you eat between bites of their food with interest, observing how you let go of your table manners that your strict parents had drilled into you from a young age.
“You’re doing so good, Y/n,” James spoke, gently encouraging you to eat more.  You finished your first plate of spaghetti and set the plate down, watching as Regulus filled it again with more pasta, sauce, and meatballs, all separated on the plate as you liked to eat your food. Regulus eyed James’ plate, reaching over to fill the plate with more meatballs and a little pasta. “You should eat more, too, Alpha,” Regulus spoke before pushing the plate back to James, who thanked him and began eating the second helping of food. Once dinner was eaten, the leftovers packed away into the icebox, Kreacher brought over a treacle tart with a tub of vanilla ice cream, setting them on the table and bowing before leaving the table to clean up the dirty pots and pans from cooking dinner that night. Regulus cut triangle slices of the tart, along with generous scoops of ice cream on your plate and James’ plate, before serving himself, the three of you eating in quiet. You and James were beginning to feel the weight of the food in your stomachs as you ate your dessert.
“Indulge yourselves, both of you. I know that you want to.” Regulus spoke as he noticed you and James were poking around the food on your plates. Regulus knew that James had a weakness for any kind of sweet treat, and you had been craving treacle tart all week, he was curious now as to why both of you weren’t eating the rest of your dessert when he knew that you and James could eat more than this any other night. “What’s going on with the two of you? You normally down your desserts with fervor.” Regulus noted as he turned to face you both. James leaned back to show his hirsute stomach that mirrored your pregnant one. “I’m full, Reg, I can’t eat another bite,” James said as he rubbed his stomach, looking at his stomach with a pleased expression on his face.
“I’m full too, and the ice cream is making me a little nauseous.” You spoke, nibbling on the crust of the tart, leaving the ice cream to melt into a puddle on your plate. “That’s alright. I guess I did push a little with your second helpings of the spaghetti and meatballs. Both of you look wonderful, all full and bloated with food.” Regulus spoke as his eyes wandered to James’ stomach, which was straining the fabric of his shirt and made it ride up to show a sliver of his tanned flesh with faint abs still showing under his skin, even though he was bloated. “I think you’re taking this sympathy weight thing too far, Regulus,” James spoke, concerned at his mate’s enthusiastic interest in his bloated gut.
“I like it. I wouldn’t mind if you kept it up for the last for months of my pregnancy. You could grow with me, you know.” You spoke, cuddling in and rubbing James’ gut in soothing circles to aid in digestion. Regulus moved closer to you and joined in on the mutual belly rubs and cuddles, helping both you and James digest the meal. “Shall we get the two of you upstairs to sleep off the meal? We can keep cuddling, and I’ll keep giving Y/n a massage, rubbing her lower back, and taking my turn to talk to our son.” Regulus offered as he helped you to your feet. James stood with the assistance of the table, waddling slightly as Regulus helped you up the stairs and into the master bedroom, making sure you were comfortable before climbing in next to you, and positioning himself in front of your bump. James followed after, panting slightly and leaning against the doorframe.
“How can you move like this, Y/n?” James asked as he looked up at you and Regulus, cuddling in bed. “Practice, James. Now get in here so we can hold you and you can listen to Regulus talking to our son.” You spoke, waving to James, encouraging him to come into the bedroom and join you and Regulus on the bed. “Now your father is walking like your mother is because he has an insatiable appetite,” Regulus spoke to your bump as James waddled over to the bed and flopped on the soft mattress, resting his head on your thigh. “You know I love food, Reggie,” James said as he poked his partner’s arm. “I know you do. Let's just hope that our son doesn’t get your appetite.” Regulus spoke, pressing more gentle kisses to your bump.
“I think they will have James’s appetite, Regulus’s looks, and my smarts.” You spoke, staring down at the slight curve of your belly where the baby was growing. “Possibly. They could be any combination of our genetics.” James said, his brown eyes looking up at you in a loving manner as you fed love into your baby. “Who cares? I just want the little one to be healthy.” Regulus spoke, resting his head gently on your belly. “That’s the number one priority.” You spoke, stretching and yawning as sleep was overtaking you. Regulus helped you lie down and cuddled into your right side as James curled around both of you.
“Goodnight, Y/n. I love you and I love our baby.” James whispered, putting his hand over your bump. “I love our baby too. I hope they come soon. I can’t wait to meet them.”  Regulus added, rubbing your bump gently as the three of you fall asleep. ~~~ The next morning, James rolled over, finding you and Regulus thankfully still sleeping soundly as the sun streamed through the windows and onto your faces, making Regulus stir a little. Regulus opened his eyes to see James still lying in bed, propped up on his elbow so he could look down at his mates to watch them sleep, observe how beautiful his partners were when they slept, and how lucky he was to have bonded and mated to both you and Regulus. He watched you sleep, admiring how beautiful you were with every moment that you breathed, lying there as you slept. You eventually opened your eyes and looked to Regulus first as he rubbed your back and kissed your head, saying good morning. You rolled over, inhaling deeply as you stretched and faced James. “Good morning.” You said, earning a kiss from James. “Aw, you’ve woken up already. You looked so peaceful, and now you’re grumpy.” James spoke as he bent down to kiss your forehead as you snuggled in closer.
  “What would you like for breakfast, my love?” Regulus whispered as you rolled over to face him and cuddled in closer. “Toast with scrambled eggs and cheese melted over the top of the eggs, please?” You requested. “Of course, my love. You rest here and stay all cozy while I go to make food. Alpha will stay with you and keep you and our baby safe.” Regulus spoke, getting out of bed and going downstairs to start on breakfast for the three of you while James wrapped his arm around your waist, his hand on your bump, and placed a kiss on the side of your neck.
~~~
A few moments later, James was helping you down into the kitchen, finding Regulus flipping pancakes with a strip of bacon in his mouth. James helped you into a chair before he walked up behind Regulus and wrapped his arms around his husband’s waist, resting his hands on Regulus’ smaller, but softer and chubbier belly that was the result of his indulgence from your late-night cravings. “What’s this, Reggie? You’re getting a little bit of a belly there, too. Are you gaining sympathy weight for Y/n too?” James asked, teasing Regulus’ sides a bit, making him laugh.
“Yeah? What of it? I get to indulge just as much as you do. I’m the father of the baby, too, James.” Regulus spoke as he prodded the meat in the pan. “Regulus, what is taking you so long to make some toast and eggs with cheese? Your son is demanding food by kicking my bladder.” You whimpered. James let go of Regulus and went to your side to give you comfort. Regulus turned around to face you and give you a sympathetic look as you nuzzled into James’ neck.
“I’m making breakfast for James and me. Your plate is under the cloche with a keep-warm spell over it, my love. Feel free to eat without us.” Regulus spoke as he turned the sausages in the pan, gesturing to the plate at the center of the table. James pulled the cloche closer to you and lifted the lid to show two pieces of toast, scrambled eggs with shredded cheddar chees,e all melty and gooey. You were drooling as you dug into the food, as the flavors exploded in your mouth, as you sighed in relief as you ate. “That good, huh? Is it satisfying your craving, mon amour?” Regulus asked, to which you gave a happy sound in response.
A few moments later, Regulus walked over, carrying two plates, pushing one of the plates across to James, laden down with food that included a small stack two pancakes, two sausages, two strips of bacon, and a pile of eggs which were also lathered with cheese, digging in before the two men noticed you covering your nose and mouth, inching away from your husbands and the smell of the meat which nauseated you a little.
“Do we need to eat in the other room?” James asked as he noticed the all too familiar look of nausea on your face. “No, I’ll just move down the table a little bit. The smell of the sausage and bacon makes me want to hurl.” You spoke, trying not to gag. Regulus and James got the message. “Let us move then, you’re too comfortable where you are,” Regulus spoke, gripping your hand in his before he got up with James and they walked to the other end of the dining table, still engaging you in conversation.
“Thank you both… I’m sorry to be such a bother.” You told them as they settled back in their seats to resume eating. “You’re never a bother, love. You’re growing our son, and right now he’s repulsed by meat, which I hope changes by the time he’s out. He doesn’t know what he’s missing.” James spoke as he ate. “I hope so too, I miss eating bacon.” You spoke as you took smaller bites of your eggs. You smiled softly, watching your husbands eat their breakfast and chat about what the day might bring. “Could the two of you make sure to brush your mouths before coming close? I don’t think I could stand smelling the meat on your breath.” You added, scooping the last bite of eggs into your mouth. Regulus looked at you seriously as James chuckled.
“Of course. We will make sure to scrub our mouths before even thinking of coming near you.” James spoke, scraping the last of his food into his mouth, standing up and clearing the plates off the table, and taking them to the sink to be washed. Regulus went out of the room to brush his teeth like you requested before he came back and kissed your head. Regulus saw the pout form on your face as you were contemplating eating more food or having either of your partners help you out of your chair that you were wedged into. Regulus rubbed your shoulders and kissed your head. “Are you stuck, love?” He asked, not noticing you staring at the toast in the center of the table and the jar of jam that seemed to be just out of your reach.
“Yes,” you said with a huff. “I want more toast with strawberry jam on it, but I can’t reach because your child is insisting on making my stomach just big enough that I’m now pinned to this seat when I lean back into my chair. Can you help me by pulling the toast and jam closer to me, please?” You asked, looking up to your husband, and showed him your efforts of trying to push yourself up to reach the food in the center of the table that was out of your grasp. “Okay, I’ll help you. No need to overexert yourself. I’m happy to help you with whatever you need, love.” Regulus spoke as he pulled the toast for you, letting you prepare the snack the way you wanted. “Is that better?” He asked as you ate your food. “Yes, thank you.” You responded. James watched the interaction with a smile on his face as he cleaned the morning dishes before going to the bathroom to brush his teeth, before he joined you and Regulus, sneaking some freshly baked scones that Kreacher had pulled out of the oven. Once you had finished your toast, Regulus and James helped you to your feet.
“Where would you like to go, Y/n?” Regulus asked as he held your hand and put his other hand on your back to give you support. “Upstairs. I think a nap is in order. Our son is demanding that I rest and let him grow.” You requested. James joined you on your other side, and they both led you upstairs to the master bedroom that the three of you shared. Once inside the room, you paused for a moment to catch your breath, as James was panting too. “I need to lie back on the extra food, huh?” James said with a chuckle as he helped you and Regulus to the bed. After the two of you were settled, James lay in the bed with you, and the three of you took a nap. ~~~ Lunchtime rolled around, and you awoke to find Regulus gone and James’ arm over your waist, his hand resting on your bump. Regulus was downstairs making lunch for the three of you. He contemplated waking you and James up to ask the two of you what you wanted for lunch, but he didn’t want to disturb your much-needed sleep. Regulus decided to go upstairs to check on his partners, leaning against the doorframe, and smiling at the quiet, peaceful scene that was laid out before him, seeing James hold you close. He knew that the two of you would be hungry soon, so he crawled into the bed with you two and snuggled into James’s back first, gently waking him up with a kiss on his cheek.
James stirred and rolled over, looking at Regulus, who was looking up at him. “Hello, love. Everything okay?” James asked quietly. “Wanted to see what you and Y/n wanted for lunch. Didn’t know if I should wake you or not.” Regulus spoke, wrapping his arm around his husband’s chest. “I know I’d want a sandwich with some of those potato crisps, and some cauldron cakes. A chocolate one and a cream-filled one, please. I don’t know what Y/n wants, though. I understand not wanting to wake her. She looks too peaceful.” James whispered to Regulus. You stirred, rolling over and pulling a blanket over you and blinking up at them, looking adorable as ever.
“Good afternoon, baby. Are you hungry? What can I make for you?” Regulus asked. You nodded, looking up at the pair of men. “I’d like some chicken soup with a crispy grilled cheese where the cheese is all melty and gooey on the inside, please. Oooh, and some dill pickles on the side as well.” You requested, playing with James’ fingers. Regulus pushed himself up off the bed and looked at you. “Of course, my love. I’ll make that right away.” He spoke, leaving the bed, and went back to the kitchen to make you the food you requested. James rolled over to hold you close and push a stray piece of hair behind your ear. “Do you want to stay here or go downstairs?” He asked, stroking your hair gently.
“I’d like to go downstairs, please.” You spoke and let James help you out of bed and downstairs slowly, guiding you into the kitchen where Regulus was working to make the soup from scratch, chopping vegetables like carrots, celery, onions, and garlic before placing them into a pot to cook off and make the house smell wonderful. James helped you settle into a chair before going to help Regulus cook your lunch while you rested.
While Regulus worked on the soup, James went about making your grilled cheese sandwich in the cast iron pan next to Regulus and chatting quietly. “Do you think we should take Y/n shopping soon? I’ve noticed her pants are getting snug around her stomach and hips.” James spoke as he looked back over his shoulder at you, sipping your tea that Kreacher had given you. Regulus followed James’ gaze and nodded in approval.
“Let’s make it a day to pamper her and make it positive. She deserves to be spoiled a little.” Regulus spoke quietly so you didn’t hear him. James nodded, flipping the sandwich one last time and pressing it down with the spatula before placing it on the plate next to the bowl of chicken soup that you had requested. Regulus then carried the plate over to the dining table where you were sitting and placed it in front of you. “Thank you, love.” You told Regulus, pulling him close, and kissing him gently before you began eating. “You’re welcome, y/n. Eat up.” Regulus spoke as he went back to serve soup for James and himself while James grilled up two more cheese sandwiches before sliding them onto the plates and insisting on carrying them over to the table so Regulus could rest too.
“I’m fine, James. But if you insist… I’ll let you carry my plate too.” Regulus spoke as he sat down across from you and set his head in his hands. “He can be a little annoying, but I love him,” Regulus said as he watched you blow on your spoon before taking a bite of soup. “I know. I love him too.” You spoke “How do you like it?” Regulus asked as James set the plate down in front of him before sitting at the head of the table and eating his food.
“The soup is amazing. The flavors are great. Thank you for making this.” You told him as you ate hungrily. “I’m glad. Looks like our son approves, too.” Regulus responded between bites of his sandwich and soup. James watched in approval at his mates fueling their bodies for the rest of the day. You finished your sandwich, enjoying the string pull as you took each bite of the crispy, crunchy bread of the sandwich, groaning in satisfaction at the melty gooeyness of the cheese. “This is perfect, James. You make such a perfect grilled cheese, thank you.” You told him as you used the last bites of the sandwich to wipe up the broth of the soup.
“You’re welcome,” James said as he watched you enjoy your food, helping give your body the energy you needed to help the baby grow inside of you. You finished your food, handing the empty bowl to James, thanking Regulus for the food as you leaned back, watching your husbands clean up the lunch dishes. Regulus comes back to you and rubs your shoulders. “How do you feel about going clothes shopping this afternoon?” Regulus asked. You looked up at him. “Can we go out tomorrow? I don’t feel up to going out today.” You asked as you held one of his hands. “That’s just fine, darling. I understand you need your rest, Y/n.” He spoke and kissed your head before moving to help you up out of your chair.
“Where would you like to go next? The living room to put your feet up and work on your stitching, or go lie down and take a nap in our bedroom?” Regulus asked as he helped you to your feet and steadied you on your feet. “I’d like to go to the living room and cuddle with either you or James or both of you.” You requested. “I’d love to cuddle with you, darling,” James said as he came over to help guide you into the living room. Once you were on the couch, leaning into Regulus, James handed you your stitching and lay between your legs to talk with your son about the lunch he just had. “How did you like the soup, little one? Was the grilled cheese good too? Gently kick once for yes and twice for no.” James spoke as he pressed his head to your bump, talking to the baby while you knitted away. Regulus turned the radio on, tuning the channel to James’ favorite Quidditch show before wrapping his arm around your shoulders, enjoying a quiet afternoon together. The next afternoon, the three of you left Grimmauld Place to head to some Muggle shops that had maternity clothes for you and more baby clothes for your son. Upon entering the baby shop, James immediately saw a pale blue deer that he picked up and showed you.
“That’s adorable, James. Let’s add it to the basket and keep looking at the other items.” You spoke as James put the item into the basket while Regulus walked with you, watching as James darted down the aisles and pulled off various baby boy items with a forest theme, showing deer and other forest animals or even safari items with lions on them to you and Regulus, placing some items into the basket while putting others back on the shelf. You also picked up more diapers and some baby wipes, too, letting James carry them while you and Regulus browsed the baby onesies. Regulus held up a dark blue onesie that had stars on it with a look of hopefulness in his eyes.
“Do you want to get it?” You asked as you rested your hands on your bump. Regulus nodded and placed the garment in the basket, along with the several other items that either you, James, or Regulus had put into the basket. You leaned into James after putting a deer-shaped teething ring in the basket, showing your exhaustion. James let you lean into him as he rubbed your shoulder and kissed your head.
“Getting tired, love? Would you like to check out and go home now?” He asked and waited for your response as you were staring off at some glass bottles and pacifiers on another shelf. Regulus picked up on your far-off look and waved his hand in front of your eyes, getting you to look up at him. “Let’s get her out of here, James. We can pick out some clothes for you another day. We will pay for the items and get you home. You look tired, Y/n.” Regulus spoke as he took your hand and led you to the register with James in tow, as he pulled out his Muggle money to pay for the items. You placed the basket on the counter before James held you close, keeping you safe as Regulus chatted with the clerk and carried the bag of baby items and let James carry the box of diapers, keeping you close as the three of you left the baby store and went into a back alley to apparate home.
Once home, Regulus held onto your arm and guided you into the living room to sit down and hold you close to help you recharge as James put away the baby items in the nursery that you had been renovating.  You laid out on the couch, placing your head on Regulus’ lap, noticing a blanket being laid over you by James as he joins the two of you with Kreacher entering the room, carrying a tray with a teapot full of freshly brewed tea and three cups that he placed on the coffee table before bowing and retreating into the kitchen. “Are you okay? You grew tired faster than normal in the store.” James noted as he rubbed your feet gently, placing them in his lap. “I guess the excursion wore me out more than usual. The doctor did say that I’d be fatigued more as the pregnancy progressed, and I should rest more.” You spoke, looking back at your husband, who was watching you with concern.
“Alright, you rest up and we will take care of you,” Regulus spoke, stroking your hair back as you dozed off against them both.The months progressed, James and Regulus continued to indulge their cravings, eating the same amounts as you did, growing fatter with sympathy weight as you grew heavier with pregnancy. You were more than happy to let your Alpha and Beta indulge you and pamper you in every way if it meant watching them indulge too. It was nice seeing Regulus relax a bit, even after the strict upbringing he had under his parents, keeping his appetite restricted and him thin and lithe. James, on the other hand, was mostly oblivious as to his weight, thinking his Quidditch robes had shrunken when Kreacher cleaned them when he put his gear on for a weekend match.
During your third trimester, your doctor had put you on partial bed rest since there had been some signs of high blood pressure and slightly raised blood sugar that your doctor found concerning. You were to rest, regulate your diet, and lower your stress. One afternoon, Regulus found you on the couch, crossing your arms across your chest, resting them on your large bump, very frustrated, and rather cute. “What’s wrong, baby?”
“I’m bored. I have read all the books that you own, I don’t want to stitch, and there’s nothing on the radio that I’d want to listen to, or I’ve heard it already.” You said with a pout as James sat next to you. “We could go for a small walk, just into the kitchen, or into another room in the house, just for a change in view.” Regulus offered. “I shouldn’t get up unless I need to use the bathroom, Regulus. That’s what the doctor said.” You reminded him.
“You’re right. We will take it easy. Maybe a lap or two around the lower floor, no stairs. Just for some slight exercise and a change of scenery.” Regulus said, standing up and holding his hands out to you, waiting for you to take them and walk with him. You took his hands, careful not to pull down too hard, but you were surprised at just how strong Regulus was despite his thin form. “Don’t be shy, love, I’m stronger than I look. You’re not that heavy anyway.” Regulus said with a smile.
“Just lean on me until you’re steady on your own feet. If not, just let me support you while we walk. We will just go to the kitchen, I’ll make you some tea and a snack, and we will see what Kreacher is making for dinner, okay?” He asked as he guided you from the living room to the kitchen. “That’s it. Just a couple more steps and I’ll help you into a chair.” Regulus told you as he kept one hand on your arm, the other on your back and let you lean into his shoulder as the two of you stared at a chair that he pushed in, making sure that the underside of the table didn’t hit your bump too hard or squish it in any manner. “Tell me, darling. What is it that you and our little one are craving?” Regulus asked as he walked around the table, going to the pantry and pulling out some tins of biscuits, and a tray or two of chocolate-filled cauldron cakes, and placed them on the table. You grabbed one of the trays of cauldron cakes and pulled one out, nibbling on the handle of the cauldron to see if that’s what your stomach could hold onto.
“That’s perfect.” You spoke, eating the pastry slowly as Regulus put a cup of mint-ginger tea in front of you. “I’m glad your stomach isn’t repulsed at the treat. Don’t eat too many. Kreacher says that dinner will be ready soon. He’s making a chicken stew that should be light on your stomach.” Regulus told you, looking back at the house elf as he was stirring the contents of the big stock pot on the stove. James should be home soon. Then we can have dinner together.” Regulus said as he sat down across from you with one of the cauldron cakes and his cup of tea, enjoying the light snack until your Alpha got home. A few minutes later, the two of you heard the front door open and the sound of James entering and putting his work things away.
“Reggie! Y/n! I’m home! Where are the two of you?” James’ voice sounded from the front hall along with heavy footsteps as he walked through Grimmauld Place, looking for his mates. Relief washed over his face when he found the two of you in the kitchen, enjoying your snack. “Having a pre-dinner snack without me? Guess I’ll join in.” James said as Kreacher handed him a cup of tea, welcoming him home. James walked over to the table, grabbed a cauldron cake for himself, and sat next to you, beginning to talk about his day and how the Quidditch training went that day, until Kreacher told the three of you that dinner was served and handed out three bowls of the chicken stew. You, James, and Regulus ate together, chatting quietly about the baby and what else the two of you should do before the baby came, such as final touches on the nursery or a last shopping spree to the baby store for any other clothes you could think of. Most of the items were covered when you had your baby shower a couple of months ago. The crucial need was more diapers, as one of the pieces of wisdom you received from the women who attended your baby shower had been given when the book had been passed around for the women to fill out with insights on raising a child for first-time parents.
“I’ll make sure to pick some up each week until you give birth, even after. I don’t see a reason why we shouldn’t stockpile them for a while so we don’t run out.” James spoke as he finished off his meal. Regulus nodded, finishing off his food too, and offered to take your plate so you could remain seated and not overwork yourself. Once the dishes were clean, James helped you out of your chair and up to the bedroom to go to bed for the night. ~~~ Sometime in the middle of the night, you woke up with a squeezing pain like a vice around your hips. You turned the light on and pulled the blankets back to reveal that your water had broken and contractions were beginning. “It's time. Just breathe like we practiced, Y/n. I’m gonna wake Regulus so we can get you to the hospital.” James spoke and shook his husband awake.
“Regulus, Y/n is in labor, wake up. We need to get her to the hospital.” James whispered with urgency. Regulus looked up at him, his eyes widening as the news was given to him. He looked at you as you were breathing through your contractions and moving to the edge of the bed to try and get out of bed and to the chair to let your partners help you get changed. Once sitting down, you watched James gather the final items for your hospital bag while Regulus attended to you and retrieved whatever you needed.
“James, settle down. I think we’ve got everything, and what we don’t have, I’m sure St. Mungo’s will provide.” Regulus spoke in a quiet, calm voice, hoping to wrangle James while rubbing your back, holding your hand, and letting you lean into him as you breathed through another contraction, which he was timing. “They’re about 10 minutes apart, so we have some time, but we should still use the Floo to get her there so we can get her there and settled before they get closer and our little one arrives,” Regulus spoke to you, still calm and collected. James zipped up your suitcase and walked over to where you were sitting, and with the combined efforts of both Regulus and James, they helped you down to the fireplace in the kitchen to apparate to St. Mungo’s safely. Once there, you were sitting in a wheelchair pushed by James while Regulus helped check you in, guiding you to the labor and delivery ward and into your room, where you could get settled and relax. Regulus helped you into the bed while you directed James around to help you nest in the room to feel more comfortable. Once you were settled, a nurse came in to check on you and see how far you were in progressing your labor.
“You seem about eight centimeters dilated. Feel free to walk laps or even bounce on an exercise ball to help those last two centimeters along, and soon you’ll be ready to start pushing.” They said before they got up, and let you decide what you wanted to do. You picked walking laps. Since you didn’t know if you had a few minutes or a few hours, James took a nap and Regulus took the first shift of walking with you around and around the hospital floor, stopping every time you arrived at your room to make sure you didn’t need to push just yet and continuing with the walking, letting out groans of pain and rocking slightly, feeling the need to push. You wanted to go back to your room, and you wanted James to catch your son. Regulus got you on the bed and woke up James, telling him it was time for you to push and that you were asking for him. James went to your side and cupped your face as it was glistening with sweat.
“Final leg of our journey, darling. Then our little boy will be here soon.” James poked, pressing his forehead to yours and smiling as you gripped your hand as another contraction came. Regulus had called in the nurses and doctor to assist with the birth while you talked with James.
“I want…you… to catch.” You panted, looking at James. He nodded and swapped places with Regulus, who sat behind you to support you while you bore down and pushed. You could feel the baby coming down the birthing canal, his head, his shoulders, and torso, legs tucked under and kicking slightly as he moved down. “He’s crowning! I can see his head, Y/n. He has my hair.” You heard James’ voice, hints of wonder in his voice. You leaned back into Regulus after a large push and panted heavily. “I’m too tired.” You spoke quietly.
“One more push and he will be here. Then you can rest all you want, my love. You can’t give up yet. I won’t let you give up on this.” Regulus told you, holding your hands tightly as you prepped for the next contraction, which made you whimper and cry a bit as it came. “You can do this, Y/n. Just push!” Regulus and James spoke to encourage you to keep going. You pushed hard, feeling the head push out and the rest of the body slide out of you and into James’ hands.
“I have him!” James spoke before he brought the baby up to you, placing him on your chest, wrapping a blanket around the baby, while Regulus put a small blue hat on his head. Once your son was on your chest, he began crying. James and Regulus let out sighs of relief when they heard their son wailing. This was a wondrous noise to everyone in the room as the nurses helped you clean up the mess and begin the delivery of the placenta, all while you, James, and Regulus bonded with your son, who was now staring up at the three of you with awe as you talked to him. You were exhausted, but overjoyed that your baby was now here and in your arms.
He snuggled into your chest and cooed up at you, looking at his dads as they introduced themselves to him. Your son snuggled into your chest, and his eyes widened with wonder when he heard your heartbeat. His green eyes stared right up at you as he listened intently to your heartbeat, recognizing you as his mom. “Hello, little one. Welcome to the world.” You say quietly as you hold his hand, his tiny fingers around your larger one. “What will you name him?” The nurse asks as she cleans up a bit of the mess from the delivery.
“Harry. Harry James Potter-Black.” You spoke with a smile, looking down at your son, seeing that he had the appearance of James with Regulus’ hair. He had your eyes, though. “That’s a great name, Y/,” James spoke as he approached you and your son. Regulus had wrapped his arms around you, helping you support the baby in your arms.
“He looks so beautiful,” Regulus whispered as he stared in awe at his son, who was looking at him now. James knelt close and caught the attention of Harry, too, who was now cooing at him and reaching his hand up at James. You let James take Harry as Regulus helped you get some food to eat, now that it was safe for you to eat, even though you hadn’t birthed the placenta yet. Passing Harry to James, letting Regulus grip your hands again and help you through the last contractions until the placenta came out and you could finally relax. James handed Harry back to you. Happy to finally meet your son and start your life as a mother, you could finally start your healing process. The end.
Remus is going through a full moon cycle, and Sirius helps comfort and reassure him.
Remus woke up on his bed, lying next to his partner as the sun shone through the window, signifying that another morning had come.
He looked over to Sirius’s sleeping form, moving closer to him, and curling up around him, nuzzling his face into his neck, placing gentle kisses on his skin, and pulling him closer to his chest by his torso. Sirius stirred and intertwined his fingers with his husband’s. “Good Morning, Remus. Did you sleep well?” Sirius asked, his voice still a little gravelly from sleep.
“I did sleep okay. A bit fitful as the Wolf knows that the first night is tonight.” Remus responded, mentioning that tonight would be the first night of the full moon. Sirius rolled onto his back and looked up at Remus. “I know it is, love. We can stay here or go to the Shrieking Shack, it’s up to you.” “I’d rather go to the Shack. I don’t want to ruin Grimmauld Place again… not like last time. Kreacher still hates me for tearing up the wallpaper in your bedroom.” Remus spoke, nuzzling into Sirius’s neck and taking in his scent to have some kind of comfort and grounding. Sirius held Remus close, running his hands through his hair and rubbing any knots of tension in his back and shoulders. Remus winced as sharp pains began shooting and zinging like lightning through his muscles, reminding him of the upcoming transformation that night. Remus clung to Sirius as he whined in pain. “Shh, I got you, Moony. Just breathe.” Sirius whispered into his ear. Remus took deep breaths and focused on Sirius’s voice while the pain subsided. “Let’s get dressed and pack what we will need for the full moon,” Sirius said and sat up. “Breakfast too? I’m hungry.” Remus requested as he struggled to push himself up with his arms that trembled under him. Sirius helped him sit up, knowing that his husband’s body was weak as he was preparing for the full moon. “You’re tired, aren’t you, Moony? Let me care for you and get what you need.” Sirius said as he pushed a stray hair out of Remus’s face. “I could sleep for the whole day, only to be woken when the transformation would begin,” Remus spoke, leaning into Sirius, who rubbed his back and pressed a kiss to his head. “You can rest all you want once we’re in the Shack, Remus. C’mon, I’ll make breakfast and you pack your bag. Remember not to pack as many books and more bandages. You’ll be sleeping during the day between transformations.” Sirius spoke as he left the bedroom and went downstairs, where the kitchen was, talking to Kreacher about getting breakfast started. Remus stayed in the bed for a bit longer before pulling himself out from under the covers and beginning to gather things that he’d want for the full moon, like clothes, bandages, and maybe the current book he was reading in case he wanted to read between transformations. Sirius was right, however, he would be sleeping during the day, not able to be awake long enough to eat, let alone read. Sirius came into the bedroom with two plates of food, which he set on the dresser. “Here, let me help you pack, Remus,” Sirius said as he helped Remus get the items into his suitcase. Remus went over to the plates of food and began eating off one of them, thankful for the meal that the house elf had made for the two of them. Sirius finished packing Remus’s bag before working on his bag. Once both bags had been packed and were now by the door, Sirius went back to Remus and held him close, running his fingers through his partner’s hair, soothing him, and whispering words of affection into his ear.
“I love you, Remus, every part of you, you know this?” Sirius asked quietly, pressing his forehead to Remus’s. “I do, even though you tell me every day,” Remus spoke and hugged his husband close. “Let’s make sure your potion and painkillers are packed, and you should take today’s dose while we’re here so you don’t accidentally forget it because that would be bad for both of us,” Sirius said as he pulled away, and went to check if they had enough of the wolfsbane potion available for the next three nights. “We’re in luck. We have just enough to last us through this cycle.” Sirius spoke as he re-entered the room with three bottles of the potion and a small Ziploc bag of painkillers in his hands before adding them to his bag while Remus finished off his breakfast, encouraging Sirius to eat the food on his plate too, before they would depart for the Shrieking Shack. “You know you don’t have to go with me now that we’re adults. You can stay here and be safe. I don’t want to risk injuring you again.” Remus spoke as he put his plate in the sink before going to grab his bag. “I’m not going to let you do this alone, It was part of my vows to you when we got married that I’d spend every full moon with you, no matter the situation that we were in. I’ll be sure to stay a dog while you’re a wolf.” Sirius reminded him as he finished his food and grabbed his bag too, standing by his husband, holding hands, and apparating to the doorstep of the Shrieking Shack.
“You know I’ll always be by your side, Remus,” Sirius told him before unlocking the door and guiding his spouse inside. The interior of the Shack had been left to neglect as everything was covered in a layer of dust, and cobwebs hung in the corners of the tall building. Sirius covered his mouth and let out a cough at the sight of the dust and cobwebs as Remus carried the bags to the second floor where the bed was still tucked away in its alcove that led to a living area that showed a baby grand piano and an unlit fireplace that brought back many memories of the numerous full moons spent there with his friends, one having betrayed them and the other got married and had a son, only to have them murdered in cold blood because of the other’s betrayal. Remus felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes as he was reminded of the loss of his friends. Sirius’s hand was on his shoulder, reminding him of the task at hand. “I know you miss them. I do too. But we can’t dwell on the past. You go get our things unpacked while I clean the place up. How does that sound?” Sirius suggested, trying to distract Remus from his thoughts. “You don’t know how lucky I am to have you,” Remus spoke as he turned to face his husband and gave him a gentle kiss, which he returned. “I don’t know where I’d be if you left me as well, Padfoot,” Remus spoke when he pulled away and pressed his forehead to Sirius’s. “I’m not going anywhere. Come hell or high water, I’m always going to be with you for these full moons, even if we are to be miles apart, I’ll always turn into a dog when you turn into your wolf.” Sirius reassured Remus and went about removing the dust and cobwebs with a flick of his wand. Remus, meanwhile, carried their bags into the bedroom, placing them on the bed, using his wand to clear away the dirt and grime from the covers and make them new again before he would begin to nest. ~~~~~ Just before sundown, Sirius came into the bedroom with two plates of food, finding Remus snoring softly in the middle of his nest that he had made in the middle of the bed. Sirius set the plates of food on the nightstand before sitting on the edge of the bed. Remus woke up a little at the scent of hot food, and the weight in the bed shifted as his mate crawled into the nest with him. “Hey, I didn’t mean to wake you up,” Sirius spoke as he looked down to Remus who shook his head. “The food woke me up. Can you hand me my plate, please?” Remus asked as he sat up and leaned into his husband. “Of course, just tell me what you need and I’ll get it for you, darling,” Sirius spoke as he handed a plate of food to Remus before he took his plate into his lap while the two of them ate in a comfortable silence.
“Can you just stay with me and hold me before I … you know… turn?” Remus asked as they finished dinner, and Sirius took the empty plates and placed them back on the bedside table. “Of course, we can do that,” Sirius said, leaving a kiss on Remus’ forehead.
“I promised to care for you and love you forever, and that’s a promise I intend to keep,” Sirius spoke, his grey eyes staring directly into Remus’s hazel ones. Sirius held Remus’s hands, and he lay back, encouraging his husband into his arms, watching as the tension left his body while Sirius worked at the knots of stress melt away under his touch. “I'm not going anywhere. I could see the worst parts of you, Remus, and still think you’re the most beautiful person I’ve met.” Sirius said in a soothing tone while he rubbed soothing circles on Remus’s back.
“You mean that?” Remus asked, looking up to his husband. “Yes. I’m stuck with you, and you’re stuck with me. You can’t scare me off that easily, Moony. I’m not going anywhere. Now, just relax and let me care for you.” Sirius spoke as he held Remus. “I’m glad you’re staying. I would usually tell you to run by now so I don’t hurt you, but I don’t want to be alone with the wolf this time.” Remus spoke, wrapping his arms around Sirius.
“I will stay for as long as you need me to,” Sirius spoke, tracing some of the scars on Remus’s face gently. Remus nodded and rested his head on Sirius’s torso before dozing off, hoping to get some last sleep before the moon rose that night. A sharp, shooting pain ran through Remus’s body, waking him from his peaceful slumber, reminding him that the full moon would be rising soon. Outside, the sun was going down behind the trees, and Remus looked up, finding Sirius sleeping next to him. He looked out the window and saw what time it was. He scrambled out of bed and went into the other room, not wanting to disturb Sirius’s sleep while he transformed. Remus lay out the thin mattress in the corner of the living room, lying on his side as the transformation began. The dull throb of pain grew into a sharp, searing pain as his bones reformed themselves and his muscles shifted and changed. He let out pained howls that would most certainly wake up Sirius now. In his pain, he tried muffling his howls in his pillow, which didn’t help much as the footsteps of his partner alerted him to his presence. Sirius knelt next to his partner and pulled him into his lap. “Just lean on me, Remus. I’ve got you. Just remember who you are, Remus John Lupin, you’re more than just a werewolf, you’re an aspiring Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, and the man I love.” Sirius spoke as he ran his hands through his partner’s hair, as he trembled and shook during the transformation. “Sirius run. I’ll hurt you.” Remus gasped hoarsely. “I’m not going to run. I’m staying with you, remember? You can’t scare me off that easily.” Sirius reminded his husband before he pushed himself away as the transformation finished. Sirius watched his partner get his bearings before he locked his eyes on Sirius. The man locked eyes on the wolf, before backing into the small kitchen and pulling out some raw meat he had stockpiled just for this moment. “You’re hungry, are you? Here, eat this. You’ll need it for tonight… You know, before we go out.” Sirius spoke as he offered the meat to Remus who sniffed it and let out a low whine, Sirius dropping the meat on the floor and backing off to a safe distance as the werewolf lunged at the hunk of raw meat, devouring it quickly before approaching the door and bounding out of the Shrieking Shack, up to Hogwarts, and into the Forbidden Forest. Sirius let out an amused chuckle and transformed into the black dog he had turned into all those years ago when James had led them through the complicated process of transforming into an animagi. Sirius then bounded after the werewolf, taking the same path that his partner did, appearing out from under the Whomping Willow at Hogwarts and sniffing the air to figure out which direction Remus had gone. Once picking up his scent, Sirius followed the scent into the Forbidden Forest. Sirius bounded through the trees, finding Remus in the middle of a clearing, lying on his side. Sirius went to his side and let out a concerned whimper as he nudged Remu, whose breathing was shallow, and he looked injured as if he had run into something while bounding through the forest. Sirius scanned the area before nudging Remus again, pleading that Remus would be okay. Sirius checked Remus over, seeing that he was now passed out due to the pain of the transformation, and seemed to be asleep. Sirius trotted up to Remus and lay down in front of Remus, settling down and guarding over his mate, unaware that Remus was now awake and his golden eyes were looking straight at him.
Sirius froze, his head perking up as he stood up and backed away from Remus, who also stood up in a hunched over position in front of Sirius, deciding on what he should do next. Remus raised a hand and brought it down across his husband’s shoulder, leaving deep gashes in his flesh. Sirius knew that Remus didn’t mean to hurt him and that his inner wolf was completely out of control. Sirius, despite looking hurt, quickly got away from Remus, loping back to the Shrieking Shack to tend to his wounds and rest. Once he was at the entrance to the Shack under the Whomping Willow, Sirius transformed back to his human form, clutching his shoulder in pain as he crawled the tunnel that ran under the tree, and up the stairs to the living area of the Shack, accio’ing the first aid kit as he collapsed on the bed, sealing his wound with a paste of silver and dittany he had made up before to try and prevent lycanthropy from spreading before he passed out from the pain pulsating in his shoulder. In the morning, Sirius stirred as sunlight streamed across his face and remembered the pain in his shoulder, he rolled over, looking to the thin mat in the corner of the living room to see Remus, curled up on his mat, covered in a litany of cuts, scrapes, and bruises, but still breathing. Sirius was relieved, but he hesitated to push himself up as the throbbing, burning sensation in his shoulder prevented him from sitting up properly.
He groaned in pain, which alerted Remus to his condition, waking him from slumber. “Moony? Are you awake?” Sirius croaked. “Yeah. I’m awake. You sound like shit… what happened… oh crap.” Remus spoke as he stood up and walked over to the bed where Sirius was lying, his eyes widened at the gashes in his husband’s shoulder. “Sirius, you’re bleeding.” “You are, too.” “No shit. I ran into a bramble bush. What happened to you? I… I didn’t do that, did I?” Remus asked as fear crept into his voice. Sirius locked eyes with his partner and reached up to cup Remus’s face and reassure him. “You did. But I don’t hate you or blame you for what you did. I know you didn’t mean to do this. I knew your wolf was out of control and was acting on instinct. I knew this when going into our relationship that during the full moon, you’re not yourself, and your actions when you’re a wolf are out of a primal instinct that is haywire during this time. I still love you, Remus.” Sirius spoke as he kept eye contact with Remus, who was crying at the fact that he had injured his partner. “Listen to me, I still want you, all of you. Not halfheartedly either, Remus, but wholly, every bit of you, I want to myself. I know that may sound selfish, but I don’t care.” Sirius spoke as he pressed his forehead to Remus’s as he broke down crying with sobs of relief. Remus had been bitten as a child by a nasty brute of werewolf known as Fenrir Greyback had attacked him after his father had said that werewolves were ‘soulless, evil, deserving nothing but death’. His father did change his mind, however, after Remus had contracted the disease and learned to accept his son’s inner wolf. But the words still hurt, rt and Remus felt like he'd be alone his whole life. Sirius helped Remus dry his tears and calm down a little. “Will you let me bandage that up for you?” Remus asked as he looked at the gashes in Sirius’s chest. “Sure. I meant to when I got in last night, but I passed out from the pain.” Sirius spoke, letting Sirius help him sit up and get the rolled bandages and gauze out. Remus then applied the proper medication to the gashes before applying the gauze and bandages around Sirius’s chest, arm, and shoulder in silence.
“I am so sorry I did this. How can you ever forgive me?” Remus asked quietly as he raised his eyes to meet Sirius’s. “I already have, Remus. Consider it forgotten and come lie in bed with me.” He spoke, using his free arm to pat the space on the bed next to him. Remus climbed in and wrapped his arms around his husband, drifting back off to sleep before that night’s transformation. “Sleep well, Moony,” Sirius said, going to sleep as well. The end?
