Finally finished the latest chapter of Desert Flowers... only for it to be stuck in upload purgatory on FFN. I tried uploading the Word doc AT LEAST four times and each time after the verification tab closes, the chapter disappears! Excuse me - WHAT?!

I HATE using FFN now that their website is in shambles but I still try to update my fics there when I can, but I can't see any future works being updated there from this point on.

Update: we got 5ft of snow, everything hurts

On a good note, I've been using my Windows laptop to write (after troubleshooting my thumb drive to work on PC from Mac, that was NOT fun). The next chapter in Desert Flowers is halfway done, and it's... going to hit hard. I'm pushing myself to write these scenes because of how nuts it's about to get. I'm excited to finish and publish it, but even moreso looking forward to closing the chapters on this series. I've been brainstorming some original fiction ideas so I may possibly be looking into publishing my own works! That excites and scares me.

Anyways, shovelling sucks, but writing is good.
