AU I will probably never write: the clone wars happen earlier than in canon, making Anakin a padawan for its whole duration. When Palpatine starts Order 66, Obi-Wan is still alone on Utapau, having left his sulking 19-year-old padawan back at the Temple as a mild punishment after another display of bad temper and rash decisions.

He then spends the next few years of his life alone in hiding, thinking that his decision killed his dear padawan and that their last words to each other were sharp and bitter.

truly inspired character design tbh. george was like "how can i get two of the most intelligent, sensitive, observant, and moral people in the galaxy to fail to recognize that the man at the center of their world is in fact nascent darth vader?" and the way to do that is to make him both pure of heart and physically beautiful to the degree that he slips inside their defenses and blinds them to the horror of his worst nature and his quickly-escalating bad choices. love really is blindness! they were seduced into behaving so uncharacteristically. even after padmé heard the truth of what he was capable of doing in his rage, and even after obi-wan had to yank his leash back from wanton violence and greed over and over, neither of them really could believe he'd actually become the man that we, the audience, knew was always his destiny. it's just *chefs kiss* delightful

I had a hysterical dream last night where there was a movement among pokemon fans to identify certain pokemon as a kind of “type trans,” specifically, pokemon like charizard who clearly should be dragon types were identified as trans, and there was a whole fan support movement around helping those pokemon transition to their true type.

And bc this was a dream, ofc, this was a world where pokemon were both real but also the games and fandom and nintendo still existed, so it was a world where the pokemon themselves were advocating for their own trans liberation and nintendo was so resistant and transphobic 💀

I’m trying to remember which pokemon my brain identified as trans, i believe it was the entire charmander line, and then i think dratini and dragonair also were trans, but bc they wanted to be water types? Eevee and the eeveelutions were also involved but i think that was a non-binary situation.

Like, okay, I love Taco Bell nachos. I love them so much. At time of filming, those cost a little under $3. If someone asked me if they were worth it, I would say, "Yes, certainly!" If tomorrow, they suddenly cost $20, I would immediately be able to say, "Oh, mm-mm, no. No, they're not worth that." I wouldn't say, "Well, I really like them, so I suppose if you can afford it, they're worth it." I would say no, they're worth around $3. Maybe up to five, if I was desperate.
