THIS. TSP is an infrequent example of a widely loved character with no actual face (metaphorically). Even what we’re told about Stanley by the Narrator isn’t trustworthy I think, I think Nar’s info is either incomplete/misjudgements or straight up knowing lies.

We know NOTHING about Stanley beyond, arguably, that he has to have some nugget of stubbornness and mischievety. He has to for the game events to play out. But even those traits have different reasons for existing and different ways they present themselves between interpretations.

I know you likely made this post as a one off funny bit but I do honestly agree with it cause it’s one of my favourite things about TSP. That total green light for ANYTHING you want to be true. There are so few hard-set things about the characters we hear from (all, what, 4 of them?). Like,,yeah there’s interpretations I think are ‘incorrect’, but ultimately that’s only cause they diverge so massively from how I’ve interpreted the taste of the crumbs I’ve licked off the ground. At the end of the day we’re all eating scraps off the floor to build a larger story and whose to say who’s doing it best khkh

I then remember that Stanley is in the eye of the beholder. Every single Stanley is a direct reflection of the person writing him because he is our vessel. I thoroughly enjoy the rest of the fic with this in mind. Freedom.

Pronounced 'neeve', this is a brand new OC for my DnD world, Othello :D They are a Canary, a subset of Feyfolk descendants with a heightened sensitivity to fey magic and other invisible threats found deep in the caves of the world.

They are often used in mining operations in place of proper detection equipment to pick up on dangerous magic or gas leaks quicker than other miners. This has over time gotten them the name 'Canaries', in reference to the older trade trick of using canary birds in mines.

BUT, this is my campaign world’s version of the god of goblins, Kurtulmak. I know literally nothing about his canon DnD lore, I just took the name and made him the goblin king. He’s mine now
