Why would people still think bobby is alive when peter's exit was confirmed 😭 I'm worried for those people. There are exit interviews, farewell statement, reactions from everyone who has ever worked on that show, angela bassett (!) saying goodbye.. he is dead. They screwed up and they'll see when they're not renewed because the ratings drop

I don’t think it’s just about believing that Bobby is alive. It’s about hope and coping. If everyone still has faith and makes a lot of noise, maybe that noise will carry all the way to Minear’s ears and he’ll pull 180 on his fuckup. But, hey, who knows. I’m just happy I’m not the only one floating on this river of denial.

Waking up on a Good Friday to the news that Bobby Nash is dead.

If Jesus can rise from the dead, so can our God-fearing fire captain Robert Wade Nash.

Could this be just an elaborate experiment Tim Minear wanted to conduct? To see what fans would do and how it would affect the whole show if a main character died.

Sure, Peter is leaving at the moment.

But if the viewership numbers go dangerously low along with the reviews of the upcoming episodes, Tim Minear could theoretically bring Peter back into the show.

Like some fans have already stated, Bobby’s death from no symptoms whatsoever to dying was very quick compared to Chimney, who was actively dying for the whole episode and still survived.

This could be like it was in Criminal Minds or Bones. Maybe Bobby saw something in the lab or something else happened which made him realize that he needs to fake his death. Bobby goes undercover, doesn’t tell anyone, catches the bad guys, and then when the time is right, comes back to his found family in season 9.

Let’s face it, we’ve seen so many near-death moments, that it’s starting to get to the point where the show is just repeating itself. Maybe Tim Minear wanted to take the next step.

Maybe this whole thing is a long con and only Tim and Peter know about it. Maybe Tim didn’t tell about their plans to anyone.

I’m gonna be clowning so hard about this, like I’m still clowning about Castiel and Dean’s deaths and Supernatural s16 🤡

Tim Minear has gone fucked up.

That’s my opinion.

I have watched this show for years, always getting excited about the near-death episodes and the angst, because I have always been able to trust that the main characters pull through.

Now that trust is shot. Now that Bobby is gone gone, which character Minear is gonna kill off next just because he feels like it?

No thanks.

Besides, I’m pissed that Minear broke his promise that they will never separate Bobby and Athena, as Bathena is the main story that holds everything else together.

And I’m so sad for Athena and Buck 😔

Gavin Stenhouse is officially now one of my favorite things on 9-1-1.

I loved him and his babypriest innocence in 1x01.

I screamed when he was back in 3 more episodes.

And now in 8x06 ”Confessions”, firstly, he looked fine as hell, and secondly, we got to see him in his civvies and outside of the church 😌

(Tbh I wouldn’t mind seeing him outside of his civvies as well with Eddie 🫢🤭)

Aaaaand he finally has an actual name.

I absolutely want to see him in future episodes.
