Hello, my name is Anis. My wife is Baraa, and our children are Jojo age 6, twins Lily and Moe age 2, and our new month-old addition Liam. We live in Rafah, where now the 2/3 of the population resides, due to constant bombardment and it is the only designated safe area for refugees. As you know there is no longer any room to move here. We all are crowded into a small family home with most of our extended family that also moved in when they were forced to leave the North.

We are urgently seeking your support to help our young family escape the dire circumstances in Gaza. We are terrified for the safety of our loved ones, especially in the aftermath of the recent war that has left our home badly damaged.

The current situation in Gaza offers no safe future for our family, and we are determined to create a better life for our children. Leaving Gaza is our only option to provide a secure and stable environment for our family to grow and thrive.

However, the process of leaving is complicated, and Egyptians require a substantial amount of money – USD 5,000 for each family member – just to allow us to leave. This is in addition to the costs for flights and other essential expenses. With your generous contribution, we aim to raise the necessary funds to cover these costs and build a new life for our family.

The destruction caused by the war, coupled with the lack of infrastructure, has made it increasingly challenging to provide for our family, especially with the unreliable internet and telecommunications services.

Your support will not only help us overcome the financial barriers imposed by the exit process but also enable me to continue working and supporting our family with the job skills I possess. Despite my best efforts, the unsecured internet and irregular electricity in Gaza have always limited my ability to connect with clients and maintain a stable income.

While we cherish our homeland, the best decision for our family's well-being is to move to a place where they can not only survive but truly live the life they deserve.
