Sobbing over this
"I could make out all the constellations Annabeth had taught me: Capricorn, Pegasus, Sagittarius.”
Let me explain why every time I get to this scene in Battle of the Labyrinth, I have to fight back tears. In the Titan’s Curse, Percy knows absolutely NOTHING about the stars, even going so far as to call Ursa Major the “bear thing." However, by the time he’s on Calypso’s island, Percy is able to identify the constellations with ease. It’s such a small scene, yet it manages to tell us so much about Percy as a character. This is a 15-year-old boy who, after losing someone he knew only for a moment, has gone out of his way to learn about something that was important to her. He's made the effort to learn about this so he can preserve her memory and know exactly where Zoe is now that she's no longer with him.

I have this headcanon that in some point between PJO and HoO, Drew tried to Charmspeak Percy into dating her – either because she was attracted to him, or she wanted to prove that relationships were all about heartbreaks and Percy and Annabeth's relationship would be the same. But Percy, totally unfazed, looked her dead in the eye and said, "I've resisted manipulation by KRONOS. Next time, try harder."
And yes, she didn't dare charmspeak Annabeth into breaking up with Percy because Drew knew she wouldn't live to see another day if she did.

Honestly, people blaming Jason for breaking Reyna's heart is silly as hell, considering he never actually dated her.
Reyna just had the misconception that they would end up together, fueled by the burning desire to prove Venus wrong. She made a move on Percy too, so it's not like she really loved Jason.
No, I'm not criticizing Reyna – she's perfect, she's human. We just forget that those characters are actually teenagers, and should be allowed to act like them too. Reyna did what any normal teenager would do in her condition, but she is still a queen because she never allowed her emotions to get better of her duties.
As for saying Jason was oblivious to her feelings. Well, I might get some hate for saying this, but Percy was oblivious to the fact that Annabeth, Rachel, Nico and Calypso were head over heels for him at the same point in time. He chose Annabeth over Calypso, who was so heartbroken that she cursed Annabeth(as seen in House of Hades).
Percy acted exactly like a teenager. So did Jason. So let's just cut him some slack please.

Jason Grace was needed by the fandom because among all the troublemakers, sarcastic frats, dyslexic students and hyperactive kids who related with Percy, Leo and other demigods, there were some of us who loved discipline, studying and who constantly worked under the growing weight of people's expectations just because they were good at something.
There were some of us who excelled at academics, some who liked being organized instead of messy, and some who liked discipline over casual behaviour. And just when we thought that maybe we couldn't relate to any demigod – Jason emerged as our ray of sunshine.
Jason taught us it's as okay and cool to be disciplined and perfect as it is to be messy and lacky. Let's give our boy all the love he deserves because he made a huge difference in so many people's lives.
JASON GRACE YOU'RE LOVED

The way Percy nervously told Hazel and Frank he's Greek in SoN expecting some sort of tension to arise and Hazel just kisses him on the cheek and he melts has me sobbing.
Bonus points for Frank going, "Do I get a kiss too?"

Totally normal.
is it normal that I have stomach twisting, anger inducing, gut wrenching, and excruciating rage filled swirls in my stomach every time I see Jason Grace slander?

Why didn't Chiron tell Percy about the Door of Orpheus and had him travel the entire country to get to the underworld?
I have two theories. The first is that Chiron simply didn't know, which I feel is highly unlikely. If there was one person in the entire CHB chronicles who knew exactly what was at stake, I think it was Chiron.
He knew about Percy, he knew about the Giants' revenge, and about the oracles. A permanent entrance to the underworld sitting in the Central Park only hours away from Long Island? He probably knew about it.
That's where the second theory starts – Chiron knowingly did not tell Percy about the Door of Orpheus. Chiron knew about that charming man who went to unimaginable lengths for love thousands of years ago – and failed.
Chiron knew, that Percy was going on a quest because he wanted to bring back his supposedly dead mother from the underworld, much like Orpheus himself. I believe that he thought the door would not allow it to happen. Percy would look back – he would fail, because he loved his mother. Maybe the door was cursed, maybe not.
He saw Orpheus in that twelve year old boy, saw him failing to bring back his mother, saw him breaking. Chiron probably realised his father was stirring as well, and he obviously knew about Percy's fate according to the Great Prophecy.
This is Chiron's flaw – he knows too much, cares too much. Chiron knew in The Lost Hero that the giants and Gaea were behind everything, but he did not even tell Annabeth because he cared too much. It was a vital piece of information that the demigods should have known from the start – but he held back because he wanted to protect his kids.
I feel like something similar happened there – Chiron, instead of possibly dooming Percy to a fate worse than death let him choose the hard path, because I also have a feeling that he knew that the journey would help Percy to grow into his own self, help him to grow into the hero who would not look back at that crucial moment.

did anyone else ever find it odd how easily zeus offered percy godhood? and how it almost seemed like he secretly wanted percy to accept? well i did, and after thinking long and hard about it…
i don’t think percy understood what turning down godhood really meant
demigods do tasks for the gods because they don’t have to follow any rules. they aren’t controlled by anyone or anything. demigods are a strange hybrid - not god, not human. they are in between the laws of immortal and mortal. they are not supposed to exist. yet they do, which is what makes them so extraordinary.
percy is crazy powerful. of course, there’s the aspect of raw power. he has domain over air (storms/hurricanes), land (earthquakes and volcanic eruptions), and sea (monster waves, tsunamis, floods, basically anything that involves water.) he can control bodily fluids. he has super strength (with one hand, he held up an unconscious annabeth who was being pulled down by both arachne AND the forces of tartarus). he has super speed (he moves faster than bullets in TTC). no matter how badly you hurt him, he automatically heals and regenerates the second he touches water (an ability no other demigod has). he’s an extraordinary swordsman. very skilled in combat and warfare. he’s smart, and thinks of plans quickly. but he also has a great deal of social/poltcial power… i mean, he’s a leader and hero to both the greek and roman camps. if he says “attack,” all demigods, greek or roman, attack. no question. do you have any idea how threatening that is to the olympians? he’s also best friends and has an empathy link with the lord of the wild, which basically means all of nature is by his side too, including all land creatures. he’s also prince of horses, which means pegasi too (both of which are extremely useful in battle). and of course all sea creatures, including the mythical ones like krakens and leviathans. not to mention many of the gods really like him. hermes, hephaestus, athena, aphrodite, and dionysis have all gone out of their way to help him. artemis holds him in high regard, especially since he saved her. apollo literally considers him his friend! and poseidon - his dad, the god who is the biggest threat to zeus - is fiercely protective of him and cares about him a great deal. many minor gods also like him because he demanded them to be given more respect and for their kids to be welcomed at the camps.
percy unknowingly has more power, both physical and social/political, than anyone should ever have. he may have absolutely no idea, but it must scare the living daylights out of zeus. by accepting zeus’s offer to become a god, percy would have submitted himself to the control of zeus. zeus would be his king and ruler. zeus would then have complete control over him.
but percy said no. therefore, percy remains out of zeus’s control.
percy had no idea what he was doing. but thank the gods he made that choice. thank the gods he’s an incredible person. thank the gods percy jackson has no desire for power, because he has more of it than anyone should ever be able to have.

Honestly, why do people think Percy would not like college?
Most of us assume he's going there just for Annabeth. There's a difference between going FOR Annabeth and going WITH Annabeth.
Just because Percy didn't do well at schools does not mean he can't get through New Rome University. Remember, he struggled because the New York schools weren't equipped to deal his conditions.
He didn't get good grades because he had trouble reading(Dyslexia). We know that he can read Ancient Greek without much difficulty, and the same is for Latin.
New Rome University is equipped perfectly for demigods – which means that Percy would get along pretty fine there. Just because someone isn't getting good grades doesn't mean they're not smart, maybe they just aren't getting the kind of conditions they are comfortable in.
People were surprised when Annabeth mentioned that Percy's getting good grades. Not all people who get good grades are nerds – maybe all Percy needed were teachers who could get him, and he found them at New Rome University.
Just because somebody is not a nerd or a bookworm doesn't mean they're not smart.

Let's not forget that the first time Porphyrion saw Jason, he asked if he was Hermes or Ares(the literal God of War, everybody). He has also been mistaken for a Greek God.
Yes, Percy has the looks of a god, but so does my boy Jason Grace.

Something I'm really glad about is that even though Omega's force sensitivity was a major part of the plot, in the end, it played no part at all. I love Omega as she is.
She has Hunter's senses, Crosshair's aim, Tech's brain, Echo's loyalty and Wrecker's strength. I'm glad that in the end, she chose to be what her brothers were, instead of being a Force wielder.
She grew into her own self, and has her own personality – rather than just being good because she might have a high M count. It's the brilliance of the Bad Batch – family and love are greater than the Force.
In the end, the Bad Batch was a family who made it through with their love for each other and their trust in each other. And in the end, Omega was not a Jedi – she was herself, the daughter of five of the best dads in the galaxy. The Bad Batch is proud of her(Tech too) – and so are we.

Something about that hug between Omega and Hunter at the end of the episode impacts me so much. It's satisfaction, it's relief, it's hopeful, it's emotional and it's a representation of the beautiful moment when Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair and Omega, all of whom were living a life plagued by war and hatred finally get peace.
It was the hug I always wanted Anakin and Ahsoka to share.

Star Wars endings are so beautiful – there may be plenty of unanswered questions, but they always leave us with the one thing Star Wars has always been about.
Hope.
